• Korean: Mostly fluent but still a little awkward, especially with reading. Her parents used to talk Korean with her half the time but it's not the same as actually speaking it in everyday life and she's still learning about slang and the likes. Also has an accent.
• English: somewhere between basic and conversational, she only ever used it in classes she wasn't super good at, but suddenly it's become much more convenient to speak English with the other international trainees to find some common ground in their foreign-ness. Knows enough to swear, though. "You 'ave got to be ting me", she says in a heavy French accent as she scooches closer for the tea spillage.

• Short but feisty, is what she used to call herself in France. In Korea she's only average though, and it doesn't quite have the same ring to it. She's 163cm and weighs a fairly healthy 60kg, she's not one of those idol sticks thank you, do you want her s to completely disappear?! She has a tattoo because of course she does, a small star on her wrist that now has to be covered up with makeup or sleeves because Koreans are such prudes (in her opinion).

Elodie is used to baring her skin because, honestly, she'd die without it back home. Now it's just become what she's comfortable in. Even in winter she prefers shorts and woolly tights over straight up pants. Too constricting.

elaboration. Elodie lives life at its fullest, exactly the way she wants it. She's a free soul, she dares you to try and control her. The company tries, of course. The managers try too, and Elodie might comply. For a time. Have no fear, Elodie will always get her way in the end, somehow, even if it's behind everyone's back.

What Elodie wants most in life? To have fun, of course! To experience everything life has to offer and nothing less! A curious soul, Elodie just wants to experience new things at all times, as soon as something starts being boring her interest wanes faster than the retreating tides during an oncoming tsunami, and make no mistake, she is that tsunami. It doesn't matter that she disappeared backstage only to reappear minutes before they have to go on stage (she met a cute boy! Can't fault her for that), it doesn't matter that she's late for practice nursing a hangover from the party she snuck out to last night, she's got the dance down anyway and they're just trying to teach those slow learners. But someone else talk about her group and she'll fight them.

She has no shame either. If she tripped and fell on her face during a red carpet she'd be the one laughing the loudest. She doesn't care about image, if it's funny it's funny! At a variety show she's the first to start doing dumb for laughs or expose her members or herself! She really gives no s about image. She's good at variety but she's also a loose canon and anyone holds their breath waiting to see if the she says will be received well or if they've got another scandal on their hands, and hell if Elodie is going to conform to those meek innocent women roles Korea loves so much too. Elodie owns her uality, and she owns her love for the opposite too. Catch her gushing about this cute idol or that cute boy she ran into at a party or just at the counter of the supermarket. She doesn't shut up about it, honestly, and so many boygroup fans hate her just for saying what they're all thinking: Jungkook is hot as hell with that Fake Love styling, and have you seen Kai's recent live performance? Woof. She's hated as much as she's loved and, really, she wouldn't have it any other way. Hate is another form of love, right? As long as it's not ambivalence, Elodie is happy.

background. Elodie was born in Marseille to a French couple of Korean descent who had totally embraced French culture. That she learned the language at all was mostly necessity for communicating with her grandparents and out of some sense of obligation to her parents, everything else Elodie was spoon fed was 100% French. She grew up a freespirited and strongwilled girl who loved the beach and swimming and who loved dancing even more. She started out with ballet but it became very apparent that it didn't fit when she became more and more disruptive in the class, mostly out of complete boredom. Streetdance and hip hop were much better.

Music was always what drove Elodie's self-expression forward. She loved dancing for what it got her, a means of expressing and a means of being seen. Dance recitals were like crack, and soon they spilled over to dancing on the street. It was plain FUN to be seen and admired and Elodie loved performing above all things. Schoolwork was a bore, a chore, but daancing was life!

She'd never really thought of living anywhere but France. Elodie loved France, she loved the culture of music, the culture of food, the culture of WINE, the culture of love that it had. Things were free, things were romantic, and croissants were heaven. They visited one of the sets of grandparents in Korea every few years and Elodie had never really been that interested in the country. When she visited as a teen people would always stare at her tanktops disapprovingly, or speak in too rapid Korean before huffing when she'd respond in her heavily accent back. It wasn't a comfortable place to be, it was restrictive in every way. The only thing she liked was kpop and the performance aspect of it, even if it was a little robotic. 

Then, one visit just over a year ago, she was watching some street performance in Hongdae, dancing a bit on the side, and got challenge to a dance battle. Elodie was thrilled! She danced and had a blast with the dance group before being approached by some guy in a suit asking if she wanted to audition for some entertainmeny company called Noir Entertainment. Elodie considered it, it would mean performance and dancing all the time, it would been being SEEN all the time, but it was also mean Korea all the time. In the end her desire for adoration won out and she decided to do it!

fun facts.

• Anything PG is honestly wasted on Elodie, she's the y queen.

• Loves to do dance covers, of the y dances of course. Ain't no way she's dancing to Twice, but try and stop her from dancing Lip&Hip.

• She knows how to tango. This really shouldn't surprise you.

• Hides snacks whenever they're on diet because what are rules? Would share snacks with others if pressed.

• She loves being on stage but the tightly controlled nature of idol performances are frustratig for her too. She wishes she could just freestyle, switch things up, make the performaces more interesting! But of course she's shut down whenever she suggests it. She sometimes sneaks in little differences during her solo parts though, they can't take that from her.

• Speaking of, she often does little rebellions. Scolded for not adhering to the diet? She'll be scarfing down a mars bar in the toilet. Scolded for being late? You'll bet she'll be exactly a minute late for every appointment with this person until she forgets. She lives off little rebellions.

• She's constantly mixing up Korea's rigid social norms and forgetting to call people oppa or unnie or you name it. Constantly. Sometimes she probably does it on purpose, honestly.

Her grandmother is the only living relative she has in Korea, her grandfather died just two years before. While living in Korea, Minsook took care of her whenever she wasn't at the dorms or the company. She's forever disapproving of everything Elodie does, from the way she dresses to the way she talks to the places she goes and the people she sees. Whenever her grandmother calls or whenever a family holiday forces her to go therer it's usually just her grandmother voicing her disapproval and Elodie trying to find any excuse to look at her phone and wish she was elsewhere.

• She only had a year of training, but with her dancing experience she didn't need a lot of it. Thankfully she has a pleasant enough voice as it is and she's quite stable thanks to her dancing stamina. She really shines when she's moving her body.  She didn't always make herself popular with her antics but nobody could deny that charisma.

Basically any boy in kpop honestly, or in korea. Elodie flip flops from crush to crush, never staying long. She might have a fling with a boy for a week before moving on, or moon after this beautiful idol after meeting him backstage for a few days before falling head over heels for another. nothing can tie her down, not even her own hormones.
