Its been almost a week since I’ve been in Bulgaria for my school trip, and it’s been pretty nice. I’m staying in Blagoevgrad (not sure if I spelled it right), and I love the multiple restaurants with delicious unique food and endless menus. I’ve noticed some very interesting things like how there’s no crossing light for pedestrians, but cars still manage to slow down and stop for people to cross.

It gets a little weird at times being a little black girl here and getting stares, but that doesn’t really bother me. I can say that the people I’ve spoken to have been so nice and welcoming. There’s been some funny experiences with my classmates here. I have three more weeks left to go before I leave and I can’t wait to explore more. We go to the Black Sea this weekend!!
