PERSONALITY: 

Miyeon had never been the center of attention, which she had no issue with. She was shy and reserved up to a degree where you could say she was socially anxious and a loner. Things in her life never went the right way and at this point she really didn't care anymore. She was used to getting dissapointed, to fail, to be unhappy with her life. And she wasn't going to spend any more strength on hoping for better days. 

She was smart enough to analyse her situation and her overly intelligent mind was not helping her. In her earlier days she wished she was stupid, that her smart brain wouldn't expound her miserable being/life all the time and she'd find bliss in the sweet thing called ignorance. But she accepted her fate long ago, which resolved in her becoming a bitter and sarcastic human.

Apart from all her hate on life and everyone who is enjoying it, she can be caring at times (Maybe every other Full Moon) and even cracks some jokes on the way. Those are the little moments when she finds that life maybe wasn't all black but had some highs ... although they don't stay that long.
 

History

BACKGROUND: 

Miyeon grew up in a loving household. She had fabulous parents and a big brother, whom she loved so dearly and vice versa. She had everything and had no idea she'd also lose everything. 

Life hit her hard when her parents died in an drunk hit and run accident. 

Her brother was legally old enough to care for his little 11 year old sister and became her legal parent. He didn't go to college and worked 5 jobs to care for her, but soon their financial problems began to make him insane. He struggled with depression and alcohol problems, which Miyeon notices even though she was just so little. She saw how it made him bad, how he suffered and believed it was all her fault. That she was the reason for his misery and she was ruining his life. 

Shortly before her 13th birthday she decided to do the only thing to free him, she ran away from home. 

The police found her on the street that night, taking her home only to find her brother hanged himself, out of guilt for not being able to care for his little sister. He left a death note claiming that he failed as a brother and she was better off without him, in a nice home and without financial problems. He explained she didn't resent him for running away and that he would've done the same if was in her situation.

Soon she moved to a orphanage, but never got adopted. Nobody wanted her, like she didn't want anyone aswell. She became sad at first, crying over and over again at night claiming she killed her brother. But soon those tears went away as she began to understand and accept his brothers desicion to end his life. But his acception also came with consequences and only left a hollow person without a real meaing in life. She had nothing and noone left to live for.

She became the person she is today, cold, reserved and cynical. She had no friends, even in school and isolated herself from the world. 

After her graduation, she didn't go to college, but worked as a freelance editor for little websites. She works from home, where she doesn't have to see people and can communicate with her clients via phone or email.

One day when she came home from grocerie shopping, she found a letter on her porch.

Her brother was everything to her after her parents died and she still believes she is the reason he killed himself. She accepted and respects his decision up to today but misses him so dearly.

The Wish

WISH: She wishes to die. 





She's not able to kill herself no matter how depressed and broken she is, so she takes this as an opportunity to  follow her parents and brother.

(She thought about bringing them back from the dead, but she respeccts the descision of his brother too much to do so. Plus she didn't want to bring back her parents, since she believes they will hate her for being the reason her brother died. #littleselfishthough

So she decides to let them reunite in heaven.
