🌻 when it comes to performing, she prefers to watch groups and artists that put a lot of performance into their stages, she doesn't care much for technicals and everything, she only cares that it's good to watch (also coded as: lipsynching ain't that bad guys)
🌻 shinhye wasn't originally meant to be a lead rapper, in fact, she never initally trained as a rapper but instead only took on the skill very close to the group's debut, fortunately, she took to the role well but she's glad that the main rapper is there to pick up her slack. in addition to her preferring vocals over rapping (even in a group of talented vocalists)
🌻 she loves the 80s, retro things and is that one basic gal (tm) that has a vinyl collection. she likes english and american dad rock type songs but don't entirely know what any of them are saying. she has a lot of polariods, and a trusty vintage polariod camera (but she takes all of her photos on one newer, mini camera because she's one of those people who literally just have items on display).
🌻 she's an absolute fiend for fried food, take-out, pizza and everything unhealthy that she can get her hands on. management have her on a pretty strict diet because of all of this, but she eats away anyway despite a less than admirable metabolism. 
🌻 shinhye is a very big advocate for lgbt+ rights, and always makes a point to speak up about it, when the group gets more freedom after their debut, she volunteers with a lot of charities.  loves toting the image of being a great ally, even though she's really actually just gay, but that's bad for public image apparently. 
🌻 she's gay, so there's that, honestly, most international fans of hers don't have any trouble connecting those dots, or really just try and pair her with group members but she's not very open about it because of obvious reasons in her career.

🌻 loves to make the other group members play board games and dnd type of , honestly, she's insufferable and it's mandated group fun and everyone probably hates her for it
🌻 not that politics matters, but she's pretty left wing, and can't get her argumentative out of conversations on shows which is why she's told to shut up a lot. pretty argumentative in general and super stubborn, it's hard to change her mind unless she's doing it herself and she's a major pain in the sometimes
🌻 she doesn't get along amazingly with red velvet for the first year and a bit after debut because she felt overshadowed by their debut, which is essentially what led to the flopping of g7, despite their push, when g7 manage to gain some footing, their relationship does get better but the tension is evidently there.
