Hello everyone! It’s that time of the year again— ANA’S ANNUAL EXO PLANET BLOG!!!!!

EℓyXiOn came to Singapore pretty fast this year in 3rd March and I had loads of fun also despite some setbacks. I kinda wrote a lot of descriptions in this post so that when I take a tripe down memory lane, I'll remember what vividly took place heh ❤ Behold! This loOOooOng super personal post will feature performance-by-performance gifs, a first-hand experience through the eyes of an ultimate exo fangirl which will be described more intricately than the surround viewing by SM yet it’s all a free read! And I just want to say I still cant believe my luck because for the past two years I was standing at the LAST row of the moshpit HAHA but tbh if you’re claustrophobic don’t even try. It was good but I couldn’t wait to get hell out of the venue

!!GOING CRAZY SHOULDVE BEEN IN THE SETLIST DAMMIT!!


Anyway,

It was kinda bittersweet. It was my first getting so upclose and personal with EXO this year as compared to Exoluxion and Exordium and there were goods and bads. I literally wanna PASS OUT with people attacking me left right and my body was arched so uncomfortably that I felt super sick and couldn’t thoroughly enjoy the concert. I don’t enjoy being confined, I like being free to navigate all around the venue to see every member. This year, I couldn’t see much of Suho, Chen, Xiumin and Sehun. It was quite worth it though cos I got to see most of their faces super close and see perfection in HD. Though I am super salty that I barely saw Sehun because he went to the opposite side most of the time. Like wow, my first time getting first row and Sehun doesn’t pass by my area? O k. 

Personally I prefer Exordium and Exoluxion better because they replayed old songs often. Like while they performed Growl, they didnt play Monster and Lucky One at all eventhough it was just released last year?? And while I appreciate solos from the members, that means I barely saw the other members on stage, either they disappear or they just sat back and wait. You know what I mean? I love all members equally and want to see them as much. And the thing also is that this year, EXO had backup dancers and there were a lot going on stage so it was kinda distracting and messy. I preferred when they danced little but as a whole 9/8. It was more meaningful to me. The performances were also mainly held on its main stage and their ment speeches this time were so short so fans at the extended stage areas are a bit of at a loss. They also look visibly tired this time and I don’t blame them because their schedule is so packed, but it pains me as an audience. At the end they also didn’t play around with the fans’ gifts as much as they did for the previous two concerts because it just felt rushing idk. 

Still, it’s not a concert to be missed. Just choose your seats wisely or end up regretting! The lighting and visual effects are amazing beyond this world. The dance choreography is so sleek. Their camaraderie is outstandingly loveable that it spurs you to sing along (even the guards were watching intently lol). The different outfits matched the members to a T. You will see how beautiful they look and it’s not even a far stretch or a joke. I mean, it’s exo. Everyone loves exo. You love exo. I really love exo. 

Hoping for an OT9 reunion soon!
