— Being a rapper, he is sharp minded and witty, always finding ways to playfully diss the members and let them diss him in return (although he likes to have the last word). In sake for the group's well-being he is willing to overlook that and just let it be - BUT only if you don't insult his height. If you do, you'll have a special diss track written for yourself that will rip you into piees and kick you into hell.
— The rapper his passionate about his music and always insists on taking part in the composing and lyric writing. He is really creative and is able to express himself in various ways. He is hard-working and determined, ready to face any challenge

BACKGROUND : — he grew up in a wealthy family in Niigata in Japan. He barely saw his parents because they were working a lot and were a lot overseas. So he was left at home with his aunt and his younger sister.
— still loved his parents
— his mother took a leave from work when he was born and until he was 3
— she only talked in Korean to him and later got him a korean teacher
— he took piano lessons and later guitar (tried to also take drum lessons but it wouldn't fit with his daily life)
— his father made him go to Kendo lessons and he began to enjoy it
— always had average grades in school
— actually hated all the stress with school
— his mother wanted him to "pursue a real career"
— used to go a lot to the ports of Niigata with his little sister to watch the fisher man
— or their aunt took them with her on her boat to go fishing and afterwards they would sell their fish on the market
— always was worried that his aunt would be lonely
— Keije did an exchange year to Australia when he was 16
— his aunt died on her boat during a tempest while he still was in Australia
— he immediately came back to Japan to care for his little sister because he didn't want her to be alone with the nanny (so he only spend around 4 months in Australia)
— since he was 12 he got interested more into hip hop but wasn't very satisfied with the japanese hip-hop and started listening to korean hip-hop
— made a soundcloud account when he was 14 and began composing and uploading his own stuff under the name "I.K. Key"
— he made a name for himself slowly and had a few rap battles on the internet
— actually got pretty famous in Korea although nobody knew how he looked like
— was sent an E-Mail by a HipHop Entertainment in Korea
— moved from Japan to Korea at the age of 17 because he wanted to pursue his life as a trainee and liked the korean hip-hop- and pop-scene more than the Japanese one

CONNECTIONS : 

— Father:  Ikomoto Teishun (51)/ secretary of a ceo from a automobile firm / calm, collected, funny, caring / Teishun always supported his son in everything he did and let him pretty much do everything he wanted to. He was the one to persuade Hyeyeon to let Keiji go to Korea. He often feels sorry for not being there for him.

— Mother : Ikomoto Hyeyeon (birthname: Oh Hyeyeon) (52) / scouts models from all over the world / strict, collected, hot-tempered, yet caring, worries a lot about Gunseok / Even though she doesn't support him with his dream, Gunseok still loves his mother and even chose his korean surname to be the same as hers: Oh. He tries to show her that he is doing well and is independent. She doesn't believe him and regularly attempts to talk him into coming back home

— Younger sibling : Ikomoto Zuya (12) / primary school student / extroverted, loud, loving, a bit weepy, easy to upset, picky, pouts a lot/ Zuya is the reason Keiji didn't pursue and pursued his career at the same time. He was the only reason he wasn't sure about going to Korea. He awlays sang her bed-time lullabies and read her bed-time stories. Gunseok still doesn't show her his tracks because she is too young for that and always tells her he is gonna be a singer. She is an enthusiatis Cosmic Boy fan and the cutest little fangirl ever. She is easy to upset but Keiji exactly know how to treat her and likes to give her tours around Niigata. He wants to her Korea someday.

— Aunt: Ikomoto Akira (deceased at 43) / was a fisher / calm, friendly, positive, open-minded / Akira treated Zuya and Keije often like her own children as she practically raised them. She often took them with her out on the sea to show them how to handle a boat or how to fish. Keije worried a lot about her not having children on her own but she always said that she will find her love one day. She died in on her boat "Flying Red" in a very strong tempest.

— Ex-boyfriend: Yuzuhara Ikuto (26) / business man / strong-willed, passionate, hot-tempered, realistic / they were together after Keiji came back from Australia after his aunt died, Ikuto helped him through it a bit but they realised that they weren't made for each other

STAGE NAME & PERSONA : Shot - the Sniper with the two faces, Sniper = shoots everyone down with his charisma and rap, the two faces refer to his cool, laid back rap-persona and on the other hand his rahter cute and caring persona.
POSITION : Main rapper

TRAINEE YEARS : 2011-2016
TRAINEE LIFE : 

— He first came to Korea after being discovered on the internet via Soundcloud. There he was a trainee for two years under a HipHop Entertainment but the Entertainment wasn't very good and treated its trainees and groups ty. The trainees were often sick, starving and frequently had black outs.
Many dropped out and Gunseok was the only one left - still holding onto his dream of debuting.
When the Entertainment went bankrupt and was forced to close, Gunseok was devastated.
The groups from the Entertainment either disbanded or got new contracts, as the only trainee left Gunseok didn't know what to do and was approached by a representative of Starship.
Until then he had lived in Korea, receiving money from his father and worked part-time to be able to live in a tiny dorm for a few weeks.
He was already ready to fly back but Starship offered him to train at their Entertainment where he then trauned from 2013 to 2015.
He wasn't very keen on getting know even more new people but decided to give it a try.

In Starship Ent. he didn't feel like he fit in at first and lived withdrawn from the rest of the trainees.
He didn't really talk and would only answer in short sentences. Actually, he was just a bit shy to make new friends. Also he was afraid of getting attached to someone who wouldn't debut with him.
Gunseok talked so little that the other trainees first thought he wasn't good at Korean and some tried to approached him in Japanese. This make Keiji feel awkward and he realised that they were trying to communicate with him and becoming friends.
After an evaluation perfomance, he straight out nailed with a rap in full korean, everyone was kinda startled and confused. Then he tried to make an advance and apologized by saying that he was shy, which surprised the others as he only seemed a bit cold-hearted and sometimes arrogant.
That he quickly tried to change and finally saw himself as a part of a team and the trainees.
But even despite that he liked his lonely nights at the studio and didn't feel like sharing much about his backstory.
Also, he trained a lot on his own before and even after opening up a bit to the other members. In general he stil prefers to train his rapping alone but is willing to help other trainees.
In dancing - where he felt still a bit uncomfortable  - he reached out a bit to their "pro-dancers" to get advice. He would stay behing after group practices to perfect his moves and even though it sometimes irked him that others stayed behind to - he enjoyed their company and the tips he received.
In his studio, no one was really allowed and he tried to keep everything hidden from s - his notebooks with lyrics, his USB sticks filled with instrumentals etc.
Because of his panuality he sometimes felt a bit uncomfortable if one of the members he found attractive would walk by shirtless or be close to him but he never opened up about his uality and became very good at hiding it. He often hid it behind his flirting - that he often jokingly did.

SCANDALS (OPTIONAL) : 

— he never was directly involved in scandals
— there once appeared a pic of him on a date with his ex but it was simply in a cafè and they didn't show any affection in public ever so it never was a big deal

LIFE IN COSMIC BOY : 
— When first meeting them he was awkward as hell and hid that all behind his rapper attitude, so some thought he was a bit arrogant
— Actually he was just shy because he was overwhelmed by the large group
— He didn't really feel comfortable being in a large group, since it meant to adapt to everyone's habits
— He didn't really talk to anyone in the first few weeks and avoided everyone too (because he was too shy)
— But then the other trainees thought he didn't understand Korean and tried to speak Japanese
— One day there was an evaluation and the trainees needed to show their efforts
— Gunseok straight out NAILED a whole ing rap performance and everyone was like "Wtf"
— After the evaluation he was being stared at and he ing blushed and then was like "Sorry guys.. I am just shy"
— And then he pretty much made an effort to befriend them
— now he is a little , lol
— And pretty much feels comfortable with all the members
— Sometimes he forgets who likes what and kind of is very confused
— Tbh, he was concerned if he would be able to stand out because he wanted to be known as a powerful rapper
— He sometimes is overwhelmed by all their members and just goes to the studio by himself
— When he heard he was gonna debut he was like "NANI?!" "What... for real? like... no joke?" He couldn't believe it until a producer came up to him saying they should compose his track.
— Gunseok was so happy he spend so much time composing the track with the help of the more experienced producers
—  wrote the lyrics himself (was kinda afraid the hook "I dont even really mess with y'all now, I don't even really mess with y'all now, oh hell no" would be too offensive but it was actually approved)
—  he was so focused on his own thing that he almost missed the other member's works
—  but he was reminded that he was in a group and they needed to take care of each other
—  became determined to make it work
—  he is neither hyung- nor maknae line and he loves that because he can fool around and can be mature
—  In any arguments involving himself he can be very stubborn - especially infront of his elders, he kind of has a soft spot for the youngers
— tries to avoid any cleaning duties
— prefers cooking over cleaning
— likes talking in Japanese about the others (Member: "Gunseok! For the last time: Do the dishes!" Gunseok: *curses that member in Japanese out while smiling* Member: "What did you say?" Gunseok: "Will do right away!")
— sometimes just flinches away from any touches and sometimes just right melting into the touch

— "No, I am a badass and cool rapper, what do you mean, I'm soft?"
— feels very very proud whenever he can help out anyone with their rap
— in return feels slightly shy to ask for anything
— wants to learn to sing better and pays a lot of attention
— or at least tries, because - Omg look, there is bird!
— is kinda always up2date with any memes, especially Japanese ones
— loves watching Anime in Japanese without Subs
— sometimes annoys the members with his screams because he gets angry while gaming
— kind of has to explain those weird japanese gaming shows to the others
— but sometimes doesn't have an answer himself
— always gets teased for his height
— one time he treathened a member with his kendo sword to not call him short anymore
— gets caught taking the Entertainment's guitar to the dorms regularly because he accidentally broke his own

— also was worried which genre their music would be and if rap would be used a lot
— When he sees the line distribution of their new songs he always immediately scans for rap parts
— also he is insecure about his singing
— actually, he thinks he is kind of a good dancer but more like hip-hop/breakdance kinda style or like just simply going with the beat
— sometimes has troubles with those idol choreographies
— likes to help out in other rap parts as the supportive voice
— to be stable in rapping he often works out/dances/jumps while he raps to train

— Keiji always tries to be calm and he usually is pretty chill

— "Okay, it happened, now what? We can't change it anyways. Let's find a solution."
— but he is always worried about the groups reputation
— also, some things just tick him off as he is very hot-headed
— some of those things would be: only fooling/playing around for a long time, annoying him for a long time, being insincere
