the end

i'm tired of dealing here in the fandom. i've been here since 2012 and i'd say 2016-2018 is the worse experience i've ever had in the fandom/ficdom. everyone feels almighty and entitled and a lot of stans are rude and disrespectful to ppl. some stans are making small things a big deal and it's not safe for me anymore. it's exhausting now. it used to be fun in the ficdom/fandom but now it's hell for me. i want to leave.

ppl are so sensitive abt small things and they make it big. also, a lot of ppl are being a police. they are policing content and urging ppl that it shld be this and that. why did it become this way?

i'm so stressed honestly.

I just found your stories and I love them all, I was so excited to ask you about your other stories. Seeing this just made me sad 😔 why some immature people force good author like you to leave fandom or quite writing. It's really your choice to stay with people who love your work or stay away from all of this we can't be selfish and ask for you to stay . Just I hope you are happy with whatever decision you make. Well its sad that you feel that leaving is the only solution but as long as you feel better I totally support your decision. Do what's best for yourself.

i have bittersweet emotions reading this. i understand how the fandom/ficdom has changed and affected you so much that you feel extremely exhausted, but i also wished you do not have to leave in this state of mind. while i support your decision (as long as you are happy), it is sad too, to see the great divide.
