Not fair for the others.....(my comment for the featured stories)

Um lately this was bugging me~

I noticed that the feaured stories are kind of....the same?

Every story has almost the same plot and you know what will happen from the beginning..

I was wondering if....won't it be cool if featured stories get choosen by users in the site? I mean...if there was a "vote for this story to get featured" button or something next to the story it would be more fair....

I read some of the featured stories and yeah, I think you are right :) but like Iheartlife says, people would start asking people to vote for them :x maybe let reviewers decide? seriously there is quite alot of my fav stories that I think should get featured... :x

i thought i was the only person that thinks like that ;;A;; most plots of the stories that got featured is so unoriginal. its almost the same :/ but those stories that has a new and fresh plot, great writings is the stories that would have less subscribers and would not be featured(..easily) xD

I'm kinda tired of seeing the same kinga/nerd, vampire/human, idol/manager kind of stories which get featured. Thare are so many good stories here, that have 10 to 20 subscribers! It just ain't fain...:(

But I have to agree what Iheartlife says

We really need a good system, because they are a lot of amazing fics who move my soul, but don't get featured :(

I agree with you but then friends would just vote for their friends and that's not fair :S
The stories get picked by some sort of computer system...it's flawed though :S
