summary whenever people see mia, they imagine a reserved, posh and arrogant , that has a weirdly otherworldy view of herself, which she really does not deserve. A second, closer glance or the first time she opens , one starts to understand, that reserved and posh are really not the words to describe her, tho an arrogant does really suit her. she is the kinda gal that walks with unwarranted confidence and is really just a nut-job. She's an adventurer, a rebel(tho she does not really know what she's rebelling against), a creator, an artist and most of all a jester. her ultimate enemy is boredom and unoriginality. her biggest strength is her imaginative and curious nature and well her wittiness and sharp-tongue that could hurt and put anyone to shame. + unpredictable+free-spirited +fiercely independent(unless she needs to borrow money from her father, which she does feeling embarrassed and incompetent). never panics because everything dangerous is a thrill.

   
 

backgroundLiving in the cold dark norths, where everything is blanketed either by snow, mosquitos or darkness, was absolute heaven for Mia. That was until her single father (after her mother and little brother's untimely death) decided that moving to the "new world" - which was not even new at that point- was the right thing to do. Mia did not object much, though she made her dislike obvious. Adjusting to a whole new place would be hard for any 16 year old, but Mia took it upon herself to "conquer". Her father took the new physics teacher job and they lived on. She studies art at the state university and thrives as an up-and-coming painter. Even though she managed to sell a few paintings for quite a high price, life is still hard. because her job is so unstable and she still needs to gradute, she now works as a pizza delivery girl on the side and relies on her father to do the rest. 

 

thoughtsMia's curiosity and need for adventure lead her to eavesdropping on her coworker, Noel's conversation, which in turn leads to her forcing herself onto the trip to camp comet. She has no idea why the cmap closed down when it did and why it reopened now, but she is willing to go. She believes it's time she took an actual break from the struggles of the world - as she so dramatically proclaims - and give herself a much needed rest.

- brrrrr. a sound that appears as soon as mia gets bored

- mia is actually quite sporty; spent her whole school life in Finland playing football(soccer) and being quite good at it. she still works out and practices with her football every chance she gets as she wanted to become a professional football player. 

-100% GAY. would totally NOEL if given the chance.

-even though her skinny and pasty white may suggest that she's weak, her big height and sporty guarantee her being a pretty kick- fighter. being a boxing lover helps out as well. 

- she takes her camera and her axe are her constant companions

- she would also bring her guitar to the camp; she has heard of ghost stories around the campfire and songs accompanied by guitars.

- you might have guessed and you would be right! she has never been to a camp before. 

- her camera is actually a camera her grandfather from her father's side bought in Japan. Nikon F, made in 1959, a 35mm SLR camera. She cherishes it more than anything else and even though Nikon F2 came out in 1979, she would rather keep her Nikon F.

-"not my circus, not my monkey" is her favorite phrase when it comes to things she would rather not be bothered with. 

- she does not wear make up, even though she would love to. she decided at the age of 15 that she would never be good at it and to just take care of her skin and let her face be. she always feels a little bit envious of girls who can use make up well.
