PERSONALITY:

Assertive,Kyungwoo says things overcoming fear of speaking his or her mind or trying to influence others, but doing so in a way that respects the personal boundaries of others.Caring,Under all that tough facade is a very different boy. He may seem like he will kill you just by looking at you but he actually is quite kind and caring once you get to know him. He has his reasons for what he does and makes sure that only he is affected by the consequences of his actions. Brave,He doesn't need to perform heroic acts to be brave. He stands firm in the face of danger and goes through all the obstacles thrown at him in any way possible. Trustworthy, tell him a secret you want to keep until the grave and he will do it. You can rely on him keeping his promises.

Unapproachable, since Kyungwoo regularly has a blank expression on his face, it makes him look unapproachable, maybe its because of his RBF(resting face) or maybe because when people hear the word delinquent they automatically think that he does some juvenile crime and wouldn't want him to be part of their life. Stubborn, driven by a fundamental resistance to being forced to do anything or experience anything against his will. The basic stance is, “No, I won’t, and you can’t make me.”. It would take a lot of convincing to finally make him give in. Mischievous, likes to have fun by playing harmless tricks on people or doing things he is not supposed to do. He'd never admit that he was the one who did the trick and would say that they are just finding someone to blame. Sarcastic, he is often enraged by idiocy, meaning that if he sees or hears something very illogical or plain stupid, then he starts being sarcastic and usually it annoys the person.

Adorkable, he isn't dorky in a sense of fashion nor is he socially inept but once you get to know him, you'll know that he is a total nerd for stars. He loves the galaxy and is fascinated by the stars. He loves talking about them to people who know about his love for it. This makes him somewhat adorable as this was a totally different version of him that you never knew about.
                                    
                                 

BACKGROUND: 

Kyungwoo was born into a rich family. His dad owns a school earning them a lot of money. His mother was a stay home mom and takes care of the things at home.

He grew really close to his mother and loved spending time with her. His father was very neglectful, always busy handling school matters and no time to even wish him a 'Happy Birthday'.She would take him to amusement parks and nice places and they enjoyed each other's company. He disliked his father and rarely talks to him. He grew up playing games outdoors with the other kids. Kyungwoo studied at the school his father owned. He got low grades and his father kept on scolding him for that. He resented his father even more because he barely paid attention to him before he enrolled at the school but now that he was failing almost every subject his father started to scold him.

The news about Kyungwoo's mothers death had spread throughout the school. Kyungwoo was very affected by this as she was the only one who he considered family and now he was stuck with his father. His father was also devastated by this but continued to keep his chin up and be happy for his wife. Kyungwoo and his father barely talked to each other now after his mother's death. He learned how to live independtly since they didn't have maids at home. He taught himself how to cook, he did his laundry and ironed his clothes, and cleans only his bedroom. 

He met someone in his class who he could communicate well with. Byungoo was not really a bright person when it comes to intellect but he was a person Kyungwoo could talk to whenever he has a problem. They became really close friends and would eat at the same table during lunch. Throughout his elementary and 1st to 2nd highschool years, nothing much happened, he managed to get fairly good grades in order for him to lessen the confrontations he had with his father when he failed a subject. 

Kyungwoo was 17 years old when he discovered his powers. He was walking home from school when he saw Byungoo being beaten up by other guys from his school. They called Byungoo a 'kiss ' because he befriended the School founder's son. Kyungwoo let out a shout getting their attention. "Oh speak of. I've been wanting to smack that face for a long time." one of the boys said. They began to back away when they saw a gun appear in Kyungwoo's right hand. Kyungwoo saw this and was completely shocked because he doesn't own a gun. The boys started running away and Kyungwoo threw away the gun and approached his beaten up friend and took him to the hospital, luckily he only had minor injuries and was released the same day. 

Their principal was always an , there was discrimination between the students. He treats the ones who are smart and rich kindly while those who fail and are poor are treated like stray dogs. He set up a system wherein the students eat lunch in the order of their rankings. Those with high grades get to eat first while to who have low grades have to wait their turn and usually only get small amounts due to many students already taking food. Kyungwoo was not happy with this and decided to give the principal a taste of his own medicine. He dialed up several restaurants and placed numerous orders to be delivered the following day. The principal was forced to pay for all the delivered food and he had to serve it to the students so that the food wouldn't be wasted. Kyungwoo left a note at the principal's office saying that if he doesn't remove the way the lunch system works, then the deliveries would continue on. Of course he didn't write his name nor wrote it himself, he printed it out so that it couldn't be traced. He put a little 'X' at the end to make it more mysterious.

The principal still continued to be an and set up the so called 'Merit and Demerit system, so basically this system let's student's report other students for misbehavior, giving the reported student demerits and the student who reported them merit points. This was ruining friendships because most of them were after merit points. Shout could be heard daily as the words "Who reported me?" or "Why did you report me?" were heard. He saw how some of the friendship fell apart and how it was tearing each class apart. Kyungwoo once again had an idea and planned to do it at the school's gym as they all had P.E. tomorrow.

He was posting large pictures of the Principal misbehaving, pictures of him leaving trays everywhere, him smoking in campus, him missing the trash can, him not wearing the proper attire. He was spray painting the words ''Remove the Merit and Demerit system, it's stupid." Followed by his signature 'X'. He then heard footsteps behind him and so that it was only Weni, one of his classmates. He climbed down from his ladder and approached her. When they heard footsteps approaching the gym, he immediately pulled her until they were behind the bleachers, dangerously close to each other. They heard someone shout, primarily because of what Kyungwoo did before hearing the footsteps exit the gym. They both dashed for the exit and got out of school grounds without being caught. He told Wenji not to tell anyone and she agreed.

Everyone at school saw it as the guard was unable to take down all the pictures since Kyungwoo hid the ladder. They all gave this person the nickname 'X'. The students were amazed by the bravery of such person while the principal was losing his .  Eventually he was caught when he was trying to pull of another stunt. His father was very angry towards him telling him that what he was doing was plain stupid. Kyungwoo had confronted his father as to why he was doing all this, he explained what were the systems implemented by the principal and how they affected the students. He had a reason to do it. His father scolded him for acting like such an idiot and putting their family name to shame. Kyungwoo got pissed and started telling everything he wanted to say to his father ever since his mother died. All the pain he felt, how he felt being neglected, how he needed a father right now. He stormed off after this and packed his things and snuck out of his house during the night.

He went to Canada and found the Sanctuary at Prince Alberta National Park. He knew about this place due to his neighbors possessing powers. He overheard them sending their son to a Sanctuary in Canada where he could train and develop his powers. He was able to start anew in this school, where grades aren't based on knowledge but actual skill. 

One night, everything went to chaos. Explosions and screaming could be heard throughout the Sanctuary. He was lucky enough to escape from the Sanctuary. He stayed at a small apartment for the time being thinking of what he should do next. He occasionally passed by some of the other students and overheard that there was an emergency Sanctuary being set up in Incheon. He was thinking if he really wanted to be back at the same country as his father. He eventually went back and headed straight for the Sanctuary in Incheon. He saw that it was still under construction considering that it was just an emergency Sanctuary. Here he was reunited with Wenji and she introduced him to all her friends.

His father found out that Kyungwoo was at the Sanctuary in Incheon by tracking the location of his phone. He confronted Kyungwoo about what he said before the day he left. He was very apologetic and asked for forgiveness. Kyungwoo forgave his father but said that he would stay at the Sanctuary in Incheon. His father was fine with it and was really glad to have his son forgive him. He promised to be a better father and be there for him whenever he needs him.

His father was a complete stranger to him when he was a kid. He hated him ever since then and grew up avoiding him. After all the event's that occured in school, he told his father everything he wanted to say to him before leaving. His fathe asked for forgiveness when he confronted him at the Sanctuary in Incheon. They are on good terms now. He would visit him from time to time telling him that he is hooking him up with a date in which Kyungwoo would decline.

✩ Mother - Yoon Jiyeon (46) / Housewife / Caring, Gentle, Optimistic / 10/10
She was the one who took care and raised Kyungwoo. She would take him out to places kids enjoyed as she watched him have fun. Kyungwoo was super close to his mom and really felt loved when he was with her. Unfortunately she died because of cancer which devastated both Kyungwoo and his father.

He was the first ever friend that Kyungwoo had. They ate lunch together and Kyungwoo would tell Byungoo all his worries and problems while would listen and try to provide help. Kyungwoo saved Byungoo from bullies once. He keeps in contact with Byungoo and told him all about him possessing abilities.
