 HARUBEOJI a play on the korean word for grandfather and haru's name, used by his friends the squad whenever they're dicking around. it's not because haru acts like one, but moreso because of the fact he owns a lot of knit cardigans reminiscent of the ones grandmothers would wear. he hates this nickname a lot and would probably deck you if you use it (not that it has stopped anyone from doing so, ofc).
 DICKHEAD, HEAD, , , FATASS, ETC a series of terms of affection given to haru by his dearest friend, hyunjae ( being his most favourite one since, you know, haru works at a cat cafe and all). the nicknames themselves are pretty self-explanatory considering how much of a haru can be at times.

FASHION haru is pretty much the living and breathing epitome of a 'fashion disaster'; what with the way he mismatches vibrant colours and odd patterns together without much consideration for what looks 'good' and what doesn't. to haru's credit, however, the male has a natural knack for making whatever he wears work despite what others might think. he opts mainly for a comfortable look, with hoodies and sweaters being haru's to-go outfits.

BACKGROUND born as an only child to a middle class family in the heart of seoul, haru had always been one for the spotlight. he was constantly doted on by both his parents and grandparents as a young child, adored and envied by his peers and teachers as a student, and was the perfect child every parent dreamed of having. despite the amount of love and attention he received growing up, haru never really had many people he could fully trust (aside from his family and hyunjae, of course). it's this aspect of haru's past that has influenced him into becoming sort of person he is today.

from a young age, haru already knew what he wanted to do in the future. his passion had always resounded within the arts and in particular, theatre. although his parents supported their son in the decisions he made, it's no lie that they were concerned about haru wanting to pursue a serious career in theatre. in order to appease his parents haru did his best to excel academically (which he did), which eventually led to his parents giving in to haru's desires and allowed him to major in theatre as he'd always dreamt of.

now, life for haru isn't that much different than it had been when he was growing up (except for the fact he's now a second year university student, has a part-time job at a cat cafe, and no longer lives with his parents). he still loves theatre as much as he did when he was younger, he's still as handsome as ever, and most of all his one and only real friend is still hyunjae.

RESIDENCE since his parents decided to move back down to their hometown of busan, haru currently resides in a university-provided dorm that he shares with his best friend, yoo hyunjae.
FORM OF TRANSPORTATION haru mainly gets around through public transport. it only takes a ten minute bus ride to get from the dorms to chungang university, although getting to his workplace located in hongdae requires haru to take the subway.

DAILY LIFE
MONDAY no classes. free time. work from 6:00pm to 11:00pm. 
 TUESDAY gets up at 7:30am and catches the bus at 8:10am. first class from 8:30am to 9:30am, second class from 12:00pm to 1:30pm and third class from 2:00pm to 3:00pm. theatre club activities from 4:00pm to 5:00pm. work from 6:00pm to 11:00pm.

 NOTICE ME SENPAI · SHIN JAEJUN, 신재준  · 072597 · THEATRE MAJOR @ CHUNGANG otherwise known as haru's longtime crush favourite sunbae. both haru and jaejun are in cau's theatre department, as well as the theatre club. haru tends to act like your typical shoujo manga heroine around jaejun ("it's almost like haru's a completely different person whenever jaejun's around", hyunjae once said, "it's kinda scary- wait, no, it's ing scary"), whereas oo the fool jaejun is captain oblivious to his junior's undying love great admiration for him, but dotes on haru constantly and treats him as he would a younger brother.

  
CAT AND DOG · YEO JISOO, 여지수 · 121799 · VETERINARY SCIENCE @ HONGIK just like the animals they surround themselves with on an almost daily basis, haru and jisoo are very much like cat and dog. they share a 'loving' relationship in which they never seem to stop bantering over the most stupidest of things and pulling at each other's nonexistent tails. it's not that haru and jisoo don't get along; in fact, it's because they do that haru is comfortable enough to freely express himself with jisoo. more often than not, the two of them together are the primary cause of the other squad members' headaches (which, being the proudly annoying pieces of s they are, haru and jisoo take it as an achievement of sorts).

  
THE BIG BO$$™ · NAM JEONGMIN, 남정민 · 032491 · OWNER OF FELINE GOOD practically haru's second mother, what with the way he's constantly nagging at haru but at the same time also likes to act completely and utterly cringe-inducing towards him. because of how easily jeongmin gets aggravated, haru finds joy in getting on his boss' nerves and pretty much just making his life more difficult than it already is. jeongmin has his own ways of getting back at the younger, making their love-hate relationship a mutual one. haru might talk a whole lot of about jeongmin, but in reality he couldn't ask for a better boss (and besides, jeongmin pays him very generously).

  
FELLOW FELINE SLAVES · PARK KYUNG, 박경 + YOO HONGJOO, 유홍주 + LEE JIEUN, 이지은 · WORKERS AT FELINE GOOD while they're not the closest of friends, the four co-workers bond over -talking their beloved boss (out of love, of course) as well as their mutual love for cats. unfortunately for jeongmin, his employees are a constant source of his daily mental breakdowns but it's the combination of such personalities that also makes the atmosphere at feline good so enjoyable. to sum up the existence of the ffs (as jeongmin likes to dub them): haru is the self-proclaimed leader, kyung is the only normal one, hongjoo is the resident chill noona™ and jieun is the one most likely to end up an actual cat lady in the future (or so haru likes to say).

"AND YOU MUST BE...?" what a bunch of ing weirdos, haru thinks to himself as he witnesses the interaction between these jisoo and sehun people in front of him. instead of voicing his thoughts out loud and rolling his eyes like he so desperately wanted to, haru simply puts on his award-winning smile and straightens his back. he had to look impressionable, after all. "haru. ji haru."

AND TELL US A BIT ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE." "ironically enough, i actually work at a cat cafe- it's called feline good." haru tries not to cringe as he says his workplace's name out loud; it's only then that he realises how absolutely stupid the pun is. "it's like, uh, in between some old records store and a crepe stall just off the main intersection. long story short i figured i needed some money so i decided to go looking around for a job, when a classmate of mine said 'hey, why don't you give this newly opened cat cafe a shot?'. so i thought 'well, why not? as long as i get money it should be fine'." haru shrugs. "so, yeah. here i am. as for my co-workers, they're pretty weird but they're still cool and all. i like them. my boss, though... he's lowkey a creep-" realising he went off on a tangent and said a lot more than he had meant to, haru hastily stops himself before he starts talking a whole bunch of unnecessary  about his boss in front of these two strangers. "anyways..."
