35 Questions for Writers (stolen from sooyoung2345)

Because Emiliee did it again and sooyoung2345 did it and i'm bored. Also i'm procrastinating. Tagging whoever wants to waste ten minutes to do it.

1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

I'm a highkey inspirit AND I STILL WANNA CHANGE IT

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Gambling With Death with 216 subs (still unreal that 216 people decided to give it a try)

Last time I did this, GWD was just posted so it was my one shot but gosh

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because Ji Chang Wook is a piece of art and a freaking masterpiece.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I talk to YifanForever and TeaMinT quite a bit

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Uh nothing particular recently but I do reread The Blood Brother Code quite a bit.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

298 and I haven't read anything new/updated since December. I also haven't read majority of the ones i'm subbed to.

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

THINGS WITH SADNESS. I JUST WANT TO WRITE A CLICHE ROMCOM T.T

8. How many friends do you have?

80

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Meh

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Writing. I get writer's block for months on end sometimes and other times I write so much. Like I wrote roughly six 1500 word chapters in one week in October.

11. How many subscribers do you have?

Unique: 411 Total: 451

(this number went up so much and omg i'm so grateful ;-;)

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

6 and I have many planned.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

Many.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I use evernote to write them down (it's on my phone and laptop so if i ever get an idea, I can immediately write it down) because I tend to forget certain details that I like even if I remember the main plot.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

LOL TeaMinT and I spent a legit hour or so planning one out but never got around to it.

I am a co-author as a beta for YifanForever

16. How did you discover AFF?

Through my sister.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

HA please. As if.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Why would I

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Koreykrypta is a senpai for me because her writing techniques and writing style is so great but as for someone who encourages me to write and do my best - YifanForever <3

20. How many karma points do you have?

Who knows.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

I said this last time and I'll say it again: Keep writing. Just because there aren't people who are commenting (or subscribing) doesn't mean you give up. If you started writing, that meant that you started because YOU wanted to. If you were willing to spend so much  time and energy into creating something, follow through with it unless you completely lose motivation/don't like the story anymore (because it's up to you).

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

For the most part idk what the heck I'm doing but I do have a general story outline. For something like Gambling with Death and Withering Petals, it's very detailed and methodic in terms of what happens since it is a mystery fic so I need to make sure my ish stays constant and thus I do plan it out. Otherwise - nah.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Nope. Thankfully people are nice.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

SAD SCENES. YOU WOULD THINK I WOULD BE USED TO THEM BY NOW but it drains me after I write heavy angst.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

I just finished a story Yongguk angst fic and I'm putting Withering Petals and Thank You For Listening on mini hiatus until my writer's block clears up and I have motivation to write.

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Good lord I have a problem.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Nope. My schedule is all over the place and sometimes forcing myself to sit down and write just makes things worse.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

A lot. My first fic was a hellish mess and I'm forever happy that it will never see the light of day ever again. Even if I go back to something I wrote back in 2016 and what I last wrote, there's a lot of writing style differences.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

It's a tie between Gambling with Death and The First and Last Time because GWD was my first multi-chaptered fic that I spent countless hours into and TFALT is something that I wrote so there was something that people could relate to in some way. Plus I wanted to show some realistic relationship issues that weren't caused by betrayal or annoying parents.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

NOT GONNA SAY. IT'S TAKEN DOWN FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Still trying to come up with a decent mythological/fantasy fic idea beCAUSE I CAN'T SEEM TO COME UP WITH ONE

32. How many upvotes do you have?

59

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

That I can indulge myself into someone else and become them for a moment.

Also that it's a stress reliever of sorts.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Wanting to write but not having time or energy.

35. Why do you write?

Publishing a book is something that is on my bucket list and I doubt will ever happen as an engineer, but idk it's also a stress reliever. Plus the idea of bringing ideas to life through words and painting a picture through words is something really cool.
