This origins from a situation at her first meetingwith chan (An  interview prior, where the guys met up with potentials). Zoe tried to intruduce herself, but stammered due to her nervousness. "My name is Zo..zo.. Zoe", Chan found it so sweet that he still calls her ZOZO up to this date.

That's exactly what people describe when they first meet zoe. she's a bit awkward. but then, who isn't. To describe her whole complex being, really there isn't enough time. but im gonna try.. 

-she's been treated for autism for a long time now, so she is doing very good and can mostly live a rather normal life

-due to her disorder, she is  antisocial

arrival: the first time  she saw the house was one year ago. She looked up to check the number and watched how a big dark clothed creature walked towards said house, right hand pushing his suitcase along the way, left hand holding what seemed to be 5 plushies under his arm. He stumbled and the plushies jumped out of his hand, a cursing changbin running after them. zoe ignored the person who was chasing down the street and looked at the number again. she held her breath, too scared to knock.
suddenly the door opened and chan came outside, greeting her with a smile. "hey, you're here." 
She bowed slightly and the taller boy looked at her questioning. "You didn't perhaps see a guy about this size running around somewhere? He wanted to be here like half an hour ago." She sighed and pointed behind herself, following chan's gaze down the street. "What the.. nevermind, come inside."

background :  chan is currently one of the eldest living in the boarding house, and also one of the oldest residents. he has lived there for almost 3 years. chan was a high school graduate, looking for a place to stay while also trying to make his dream come true, which was to make an impact on others with his music. his parents disagreed, of course, because they were rich business people from australia and wanted chan to follow in their footsteps.it wasn't helping that his brother was already on his way to success, and his younger sister was following. so chan was the black sheep of his family. but the one thing his siblings and him shared: the pain their father gave them as "love" he did not want to define his family background so he doesn't let anyone know of it.
Chan is strong-willed,kind-hearted, and perserverant and will never let anyone hurt his children. but on the outside he is really a man-child and literally calls all the residents "ya a new stray kid". right now he attend university and is an underground artist by the name of cb97.

love story : 
The first time they met was during the interview. Chan looked a little exhausted in zoe's eyes. His dark circles were so noticeable on his white skin and zoe could tell he desperatly needed more sleep. 
He was nice, and the interview was going really good. She felt this new sensation during their talk which she couldn't comprehend.

By the time she moved in, he was showing her around, explaining everything in detail. 
he helped her whenever he could, feeling the need to protect her from everything bad in this world. 
Normally, she was quiet, not very talk active and never initiates the conversation, but with him, she'd have no problems talking for hours, even starting those chats.

One day, when he was doing some music, she walked past his open door and froze, watching him in awe.

"I've never seen your room", zoes voice let him jump in his chair. He locked eyes with her and smiled. 
"Oh, it's you zozo. You haven't? Oh, well. it's nothing too special. a lot of music stuff.", he pointed at his equipment and watched how zoe's lips twitched into a smile. 
"Can i come in?", she asked and he made a hand gesture allowing her to. She sat down next to him on his keyboard stool and looked over the notes. "Can you teach me?", she looked at him with puppy eyes. He felt thrown back in his chair due to her aegyo, his heart beati suddenly incresing. Chan cleared his throat. "sure, do you know how to read them?", he asked and saw how she shook her head. "Okay, so starting with the basic."

chan was surprised at how fast she learned. Her memory was off the hook and about 2 hours later she was already able to play basic songs. She was still struggling though, explaining how the disorder might let her know all the notes by heart, it made her know how to play everything in her head, but her motor skills were limited. So sending everything from her brain to her fingers, was a hard time for her.

They often continued lessons, alot of it being music theory, since this was something she could learn really good and they really became good friends.

but one day, after a long day, all of their believes swapped and they weren't sure anymore if it was still superficial.

The day before the new group entered the house chan was worried about zoe. She hadn't shown up for dinner and it was starting to get real dark outside. "Have you seen zoe?", he asked into the round and minho shrugged his shoulders. Changbin looked up from his manhwa. "I think i saw her going to the roof earlier on." and chan was already upstairs. 
There she saw her, sitting on a bench and watching  the view, her knees pulled to her chets. Her back was faced his way so he didn't see her face, but he was startled when he heard her sniff. He walked to her. "Zozo, what's wrong?" he saw her face was wet from crying and sat down next to her. "Talk to me. please." She shook her head and more tears streamed down her face. "Just having a little panic attack because of tommorrow. i'm .. just so scared. it took me so much strenght to get to know you and the others, not talking about how long it took for them to like me. i-" she busted into tears again ang chan pulled her to his chest. "and now you're afraid because there are more people coming who could judge you. Zozo, please, that's nonsense. They will like you. i won't say they'll love you immediately, but in time they'll see behind your handicap and fall in love with the  real you. Just like changbin and minho. Like i did." She looked up into his eyes and saw pain inside. It was paining him to see her like that. But she also saw affection. Her stomach tightend up and her heartbeat fastened. What .. is this? "common, let's get you somehting to eat. You haven't had anything yet." with that he took her hand and pulled her towards the stairs.
