action speaks louder than word. that is the definition of kyun. kyun is a woman of a few words and various  action. being home schooled since kids, kyun finds it hard to communicate to others by talking so she just hold a short conversation with them. people likes kyun because of her facial expression. although her reply is short, she gives the right expression at the right time making others felt that she was listening to them. kyun is very optimistic although she may not look like that. she likes to risk herself to try someting to gain more experience of it. and if the luck is not on her side, she'll try again untill she can do it although it may takes a long time for her. nothing is more boring than learning what she have known and people who just go with the flow without expressing their opinion. in group project, kyun likes other to express their opinion rather than just agreeing with one's suggestion because she could combine all of it and makes it into a better one. kyun is a good guide if you have to do something last minute. being imaginative and creative, kyun can easily give you ideas and help you in other things. kyun express her anger by her hand. either you get slapped in the face, a punch on the nose, a hard poke on your head or a pinch at your arm. she get mad easily but it didn't take long for her to cool down because her mind will automatically shif to other things. kyun likes it when people ask her question about herself. it's easier than when she have to introduce herself in front of others since she doesn't know what to say. kyun may looks relaxed all the time but in reality, she is very stubborn. when she sets her mind onto something, she would never change her mind and ignore other and move to other direction with little apology and sensitivity. nobody really knows what kyun thinking when they hold a conversation with her. she actually wants to talk much but she just can't put it into words and is afraid if it turns akward so she kept all her words orbiting around her head and just smile. she may not that talkative in real life but online, she is your typical friendly girl thanks to the help of the emoji and the keyboard.antisocial does not related much to kyun because she still can hold conversation with others well although it's short and her friendship with others is also good. she just doesn't talk much. she prefers to give attention to other rather than getting attention. 

BACKGROUND 

part I : how i met your mother

it all start when kyun's british mother who was transferred to korea to be an accountant in a newly opened company in the country, 'La Vos' fells in love with her architect father who was involved in planning the structure of the building. kyun's mother decided to stay at korean but she have to be transferred back to her own country so kyun and her brother have to stay with their father.

part II ​ : ended up homeschool

"i want to go to school too!"
"nope."

kyun's father is really overprotective towards her. he lets her brother to attend public all boys school but she didn't even get to enter public school it's just because her father is really busy so he is worried how will she return back home safely so he decided to get kyun a private tutor.

 part II​I ​ : hello real world

after almost fifteen years of hellish home school, kyun manage to graduate with flying colours. she finally can get into her dream university with her favorite major. she nows live with her brother at seoul. but the only things that matters now for her is how can she communicate with people other than her parents and relative. 

"hey girl, don't just stand there and stare. move." a voice interrupted her thought. she turn back and saw a tall huge man behind her.
"ah, sorry." she bow and look at that man. he looks back at her wierdly.
"i've never seen you here before. freshman maybe?" the man ask. kyun noded her head enthusiastly.
"help me, please?" a short words come out of . the man sigh. he looks at her who is making a lost puppy face.
"fine." he said. kyun squeals a bit and grin widely at the man. 
"so what's your name?"
"yoon kyung. but people always call me kyun. you?"
"im jae jong. and i'm your senior so use honorificts." 
kyun giggled and nodded. they spend the whole day doing tour.

part IV : hongdaesquad

kyun filled her free time working at a tailor shop in hongdae. eventhough her work and class schedule is very packed, she tried to find times to study and have some fun. kyun may thinks that her communication with others is okay but jaejong didn't think so. jaejong was well acquaintance with a girl from his part time work and also turned out to be his junior and he overheard that she wants to form hongdaesquad. so he trick kyun to apply for this.

"nook, wake up. i need you to fill this application now. it's urgent." he said and shove the pen to kyun's hand.
"wanna sleep." kyun replied sleepily.
"c'mon, just a little bit and you can go back to sleep." he said and bugs kyun. the girl has no choice but to fill the form half awake.

kyun has a habit that she will just agree with everything if someone wakes her up during her sleep and will totally forget about it untill someone else mention it but not if she wakes up on her own so jaejong takes her weakness as an advantage for her to help her with her communication skills.

"jejo that fool!" she though and sigh. she looks at both sehun and jisoo who is still waiting for her answer. "ah, i'm yoon kyung" she flash them a dazzling smile. in her heart, she really will kill jaejong for this.

"NICE TO MEET YOU! FIRST AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: ARE YOU AFRAID OF DOGS?" "WHAT KIND OF INTERVIEW QUESTION IS THAT?" "MY GOD, SEHUN, 'CAUSE THIS WILL BE OUR REGULAR MEETING SPOT. QUIT ASKING QUESTIONS. YOU'RE NOT THE INTERVIEWER HERE, I AM." kyun glance to the half opened staff room and saw those dogs. yeah, if she's afraid of dogs, she wouldn't be here at the first place. but how can she put all of that into words. "i have a pet rabbit." she answered. she facepalm herself when she realise that her answer doesn't match the question. "i mean, i'm not afraid of it." she quickly covered her mistake. in her mind, she wanted to ask if she can bring her pet with her when visiting the shop or just asking them to take care of it a little while but nevermind. she give a small smile and sign them to ask the next question.

"NOW, WHERE DO YOU WORK IN BUSY HONGDAE? AND TELL US A BIT ABOUT WHAT IT'S LIKE." "king's tailor shop." she replied simply. well, the tailor shop is just actually two block away from the bow wow cafe. the shop was the most vintage looks than other shop in the area and is very popular. the outside and inside are mostly brownish and yellowish. the shop is located between a starbuck cafe and a vintage acessories shop so it is a very stratergic place. "i've work there since four years ago." since kyun likes to take risk, she comes to ask for work in a tailor shop that never actually open for recuitment because she never actually try sewing. her stubborness makes her stay in the shop from the opening to the closing time and ignoring if the tailor ask her to leave. the owner finally challenge her to make a tailored suit in a month if she wants to work there. with high determination and good hand skill, she manage to finish it although it's average and the tailor have no choice but to hire her. kyun was thinking if she should talk more. "ah, i just go to work when i have to sew costumers cloth."  she added. kyun part time work is not like others. she didn't stay in the shop for a specific time. she just stay in the shop if she have to sew costumers clothes. sometimes when there many custumers request, she have to stay in the shop for a whole night without sleep and then go to class. kyun look at jisoo who is signing her to tak=lk more."there only me and the taylor shop owner so the shop may be quiet." well, it is actually the other way around. the shop is filled with the nagging and singing voice of the owner. the radio will never shut off when the owner is there and it was mostly classic and piano song such as beethoven, mozart or chopin. when the owner ask kyun to take care of his shop, the shop will quickly turned into a soundless shop. "well, the owner said if you guys wants a tailored suit, you can come there. he will give you student discount." kyun nearly forgetted the message that the owner of the shop give to her when she said that she have to attend an interview so she will arrive late. "the old man never forget to promote his shop." she taught and chuckled.

"COOL! SO, HOW DID YOU COME TO FIND OUT ABOUT HONGDAE SQUAD?" "HOW COULD THEY NOT KNOW ABOUT IT AFTER YOU POSTED THAT FLYER OF YOURS ON THE COMMUNITY BULLETIN BOARD FOR LIKE A MONTH NOW." "...TRUE."  kyun correct her sit posture as her back felt uncomfortable. kyun was thinking how should she tell them about that. "it was jejo." she mention the man's name. "JEJO YOU MEAN IM JAEJONG?"sehun and jisoo look at kyun. kyun nodded. he was the mastermind behind how can she suddenly apply in the hongdaesquad since she worked in bow wow cafe, he knew about the things faster. "he asked me to join." kyun twisted the truth. he didn't even ask her. he just do what he wanted. "and i said ok." kyun give the best act that she could pull off. it's better saying this than saying that she doesn't actually wanted to apply for this. 

"ANY PARTICULAR REASON BEHIND YOU WANTING TO JOIN THE SQUAD?" kyun was taking her time to answer those question. she looks down, above, left and right thinking of the answer. she clapped her hand when she gets and answer and look at the two grinning "i can't put most of my thought into words so this may be a good opportunity for me to makes my communication skill better." she finish talking in one breath. she need long time to arrange her words so when she did it she becomes relived. 

"DING DING DING!" "OH GOD." "THE SPEED ROUND HAS JUST BEGUN! SO, I'LL JUST BE ASKING YOU A SERIES OF QUICK QUESTIONS THAT I JUST WANTED TO PUT IN THE INTERVIEW SO I SEEM LIKE A COOL AND FUN PERSON 'CAUSE I REALLY AM, I PROMISE." "oh, okay." kyun actually likes this kind of question. sometimes the question looks silly but it can describe the person so much. she never really mind answering question like this.

"EARLY BIRD OR NIGHT OWL?" "both maybe? i'll just sleep in class." she replied. she have to stay up late to finish sewing and she have to wake up early to finish her homework, exercise and attend class. kyun may sleep in class but when she felt like she have missed too much, she will went to the library to study that's why her result never actually go down.

"FAVORITE SUPERHERO?" "magneto." both of them looks at her puzzled. "what? why can't a supervillian be a superhero in my mind?" she thought to herself. "he's good. but he turn bad. end of the story." she continue. both of them still look at her puzzled. "ugh,  fine. antman." she sigh. well, she's not that much a fan of antman but that's the only things that appear in her head.

"THE MOUNTAINS OR THE SEA?" "mountain obviously." kyun likes to go hiking with her brother and father when she was kid so hearing the word mountain brings back sweet ol' memories back to her.

"BURGERS, FRIED CHICKEN, OR PIZZA?" "french fries" kyun know that her answer doesn't even exist in the question but she truly really prefers french fries. it's not like she hates the other three. it just that she likes french fries more and nothing can change her mind.

"CAMPING. HOT OR NOT? AND ARE YOU GOOD AT IT?" kyun gives a big thumbs up and smile widely. "yup." anything that involve hand working is an easy thing for her. she can set the camp, chop or find firewood and even modify something to turn it into protection if the storms are coming.

"LAST ONE. STAYING IN OR GOING OUT?"  "staying out." she was tring to make a pun here but well, it does not go well as she taught it will be. she left the pair look at her with annoyed face. "i prefer not to stick in a place for a long time so it's going out."

"did my father forced you to do this?" the man looks straight to kyun's eye. she was speechless. the fact that the one she's having a blind date with is her crush and also her boss's son is just unbelievable. it's true that she has been forced by her boss to go on a blind date with his son but she didn't know that it would be him!
"hey, kyun. how about going on a blind date with my son? till now, he never dated any woman and i'm worried about him. you make a really good wife. you're not in a relationship right?" flashback keeps coming to kyun's mind. the old man was telling her about his family then suddenly this topic comes out from the old man's mouth. kyun, who was cutting the cloth nearly ruined it. "ah, but.." she replied. "don't worry! it's just one blind date. if you didn't like him then you can tell me. and if he does something bad to you, quickly tell me." the old man interrupted. kyun's mind was in chaos. she have never experienced date nor romance in her life. "pleasee." the old man finished his words begging. kyun sigh. "well, at okay."  the old man looked her delighted.
so that's actually how kyun's ended up in this mess. kyun nodded slowly and faced down. the man sigh. "i'm very sorry he dragged you into this. i'll talk to him later." he bow and raised from his seat. "nice knowing you." he said and get ready to go. kyun doesn't know what to do. she can finally talk to her outmost crush but this is not what she wanted to happen. "uh." she spoke. the man turned his attention to her. "he seems very worried about you so can we just have this date?" finally those words comes to life! kyun doesn't even know what kind of face she makes when she say this. the man chuckled. "of course we can but i have a practice later so why don't we have a date there?"  practising while dating? how could he do both at the same time? "there?" kyun asked. "yeah. at the university field. you can watch me practice and after that we hang out." he explained. kyun's has no knowledge of rugby nor  liked that sports. she doesn't know what to say to him but her hears telling her to just agree so she nodded in an instant. 

"it's nothing. i've gone worser han this." the first words that gunwo said when he woke up. kyun was very suprised when she get a call from gunwo's father telling her that gunwo was admitted to the hospital because he fainted during a rugby match. kyun was mad at him, but she can't put it into words. she looks at him, hoping that he will tell her what's more worse than a broken limbs. "don't look at me with those puppy eyes." he replied, looking annoyed. kyun was flustered and shift her gaze to the window. "i'll tell you but please don't pity me." he chuckled. "eh?" that's the only word that manage to go out from kyun's mouth. "during my first year in college, i was involved with a very huge rugby accident that nearly taken my life." he started his story. kun who's trying not to look at gunwoo quickly stared at him, eyes widely opened. "i'm-" she opened . "shh, listen to my story." he cutted her words. "it were only bruises but i was half paralyzed. it takes me a year and half to get back to normal. and the treatment was a pain in the ." he chuckled a bit. his face showed that he was in pain in that time and remembering all of that is not a good memories. "i can remember how happy i was when i beat the crap out of them in rugby and we win. everyone was running towrds me and hugging me but suddenly there this one helmet sending straight to my head and i black out." he stopped and sigh. "then, i woke up with a numb left part of my body." he stopped again. "so i have to repeat my first year and a half. isn't my story tragic?" he looked at kyun who has spill her tears uncontrollaby. "why are you crying?" he was shocked when he sees her crying. "no, i'm not pitying you. it's just so sad." she said and wipe her tears. the man chuckled and pet her. "i'm the one who sould be sad, dummy. not you." he laugh and reached for the tissue to give to kyun. while kyun who's very sensitive towards comfortion cries even more. "so why did you still play rugby? did the old man let you? are your brain okay? did you take medicine?" she asked every question that she have inside her head . "woah, that's too much question." he laugh. "well, i want to quit at first but why should i crawl when i've already fall down. i will never be succesful. so i rise up and continue playing it." he said."yes, father didn't let me at first but when we had some discussion, he give me a second chances. if i get paralysed again, i have to stop playing. yeas, my brain is okay and yes, i still have to take medicine." he answered all of kyun's question.


INTERACTIONS 
gunwoo didn't even know that kyun was taking the same major as him untill he sees her in one of his class. since the class has not much female students, he can regonise her well. they never interact that much in the university. just some greetings when they bump into each other. but since gunwoo's father knew that his date with kyun goes well, he keeps setting them together more often. sometimes, he will force gunwoo to come to the tailor shop to help him but actually he will go out and left kyun's alone. both kyun and gunwoo knows that the old man was tring to set them together but nothing really change between them. in university, they're just sunbae-hoobae and outside they are friend. when hanging out with kyun, gunwoo is the one who does the talking. kyun just listen to him and talk a bit. gunwoo likes to makes joke so a day with him is full of laughter. after that date, their relationship become closer but not more than just friends. sometimes, instead of having lunch with his friends, gunwoo will eat with kyun if jaejong is not with her.
