Doyoon wasn't really a model nor a good student in arts school but because he worked hard and never gave up on his journey to becoming one, he was both a successful model and a student that is adored by many teachers. He would learned the ropes of being a model by himself, practiced posing and on top of that, stayed up at night to study. Despite being successful, Doyoon is a humble man. He never let his success get into his head or flaunt how successful he is. Whenever someone praised him, he would just shyly smile and say 'thank you but I'm not there yet'. When one is asked to describe Doyoon, some would say he is a funny guy and some would say he is very respectful. In fact, he is both. Doyoon would be constantly cracking jokes with his friends and whenever he meets someone new, he would break the ice by telling a joke which makes the other to laugh. He is very respectful to all ages whether you're the same age as him or even younger than him. He won't put someone below him.

Doyoon can be a coward at times and by coward, it means he gets scared easily. He tends to get anxious and he will feel uneasy around places that spooked him out. He can't even watch a horror movie without someone to hold on to and to hide behind. There are also times when one can trigger Doyoon's argumentative side. If you said something wrong or said something that isn't to Doyoon's liking, be prepared to hear his argument for hours or atleast until he wins. During his arguing, you can definitely see the stubborn side of him. If the person he's arguing with doesn't want to admit his defeat, he will keep pestering and saying the same things over and over again. The immature side of him comes out when he doesn't want to lose and he always wants to win whether he's right or wrong and if the other person gets the final say, he will sulk in the corner like a baby until he was okay to get over the matter.

Born to James Klawhause, a striped off shadowhunter who left the Shadow World to marry Kim Youjin, a mundane, Doyoon and his twin sister, Hayoon practically lived their lives not knowing they have angel blood in them. Both of them could definitely see demons and downworlders, things that mundane simply can't see but they couldn't explain or knew why they could see those things. Kept as a secret between them, they promise to take care of each other making sure the other don't get caught up in those things they deemed as dangerous.

Until one night when they were aged 7 as they were returning home, they stumble upon an Eidolan demon, a shapeshifter who was in the form of an old man. The demon was calling out to them and asking for their help. Called it a sixth sense but both of them felt like they shouldn't be there and immediately try to run away. Seeing them flee, the demon chased them. Unfortunately even though the twins manage to reach their home, the demon were right on their tails and force their way in. Their mother who was the only one in the house at that time was pulled away by the demon and is killed. The twins who were shocked ran to other parts of the house and hid. Doyoon hid underneath his parents' bed, hoping the demons won't find him. Shortly, he smell smoke coming from the main room and he fear there was a fire occuring. The aroma candles that their mother had lit up was pushed down and a fire begin to happen, quickly spreading throughout the whole room.

Afterwards, he hears footsteps walking into the room and he was sure it was one of the demons. He hold his breath, hoping the demon won't notice his presence when he hear a loud thud. The demon ran out and shortly afterwards, he could hear his father's voice calling out to him. Doyoon scrambled out of his hiding spot and rushed into his father's arms. They tried to get to safety but as they were reaching the door, the demon got hold of the father and was pulled back. The fire was fiercer than before but Doyoon tried to save his father only to be flung out of the window by the demon as he was small sized. When Doyoon was flung out, he bumped his head onto a rock causing him to lose conscious. When he woke up, he found himself in the hospital,surrounded by unfamiliar faces. He was then informed his parents died in the fire and his sister could be dead or was missing

After Doyoon recovered, he was sent to an adoption centre. Over there, he was adopted by a single mom who loved and gave him all he need. He grew up just like a normal humman but he was still able to see demons and downworlders. He still didn't know why he was able to see them and but like what he promised his twin sister, he tries to avoid them as much as possible. Doyoon always felt broken when he thought about his sister but he didn't want to hurt his adopted mom so he tries not to bring up the topic. 

Doyoon was later accepted into School of Performing Arts Seoul at the age of 15 studying music when he expressed his interest in music to his mother. When he turned 18, he was scouted by a modelling agency for his looks and despite, not doing well for his first modelling gig, the agency kept him and he continued working hard and by the age of 20, he was a successful model.

Doyoon knew there was a possibility that his twin sister could be alive but he tries not to find her because he knew how sensitive and emotional his mom could be if he ever brings up the topic. How could he hurt the woman that raised him ever since his parents died ? Despite being an emotional person, Yejin can be a very dramatic caring mother whom always jumps to conclusion easily.

"Mum! I'm going out!" 

"Why are you always going out? Why can't you stay at home with your dear mother? I mean, what happens if you get into a car accident or if you trip over a rock. It will be my fault for not taking care of you well."

"Mum, I'm going out cause you told me to buy fishcake for dinner later."

A shadowhunter born that lost his memories due to a wild fire that separated him and his twin sister. After years, Neil showed up at the Seoul Institute and Neve finally realised her twin brother didn't die at all. Neve didn't take it too well that her brother was alive, blaming it on the warlock that saved her but she still loved Neil the same way and from there on, the both of them were inseperable.
