End of the year post (motivational)

2017 is quite a whirlwind in all honesty. It started out really crappy and have remained crappy for quite some time after I found out about something but I'm rising above it (yup I'm still trying to but it's something that can't be simply forgotten or simply forgiven). Eitherway, my motivation has been low and although I set some goals, I did not make the first step... until the end of the year.

I moved from Japan back to the US and finally, with a better work morale and work time, I found my motivation back. Although it took me a while to decide what I wanted to do in life (3-4 years to be exact) I finally enrolled into college and start back on that student life to accomplish being a psychologist/psychiatrist someday while being a full time worker. I have a house, 3 dogs, 2 cats that we got from Japan, and a hedgehog that my wife have been wanting.

In all honesty, I'm swept up with love and I've been focused on my wife more than myself and it's time to focus on me because nobody would be there in the end except for yourself. Also, might as well accomplish your goals while you're still younger than you are in the next coming years.

When you take that quick dip on the water with your toe, then you have to take that next step and dive into the water. The deeper you get, the more you discover but as you go deeper, the more you struggle to breathe. But when you reach the deepest parts, you slowly rise to the top and get that good deep breath. What I mean by this is that everyone should decide, make a plan, and strive for it. Don't let anybody stop you from reaching your goals to success because in the end, nobody is going to matter except for you and the reward you have given for yourself.

I'm just about to start this journey. It's going to be something that would add more stress to my life but I'm hoping with the good work environment I have now, my stress would be balanced even when I do begin my life as a part time student and a full time worker. Another goal I'm working on is getting promoted at work so I could receive better pay and open myself to a bigger/wider opporunity.

I hope everyone makes a goal list to accomplish for the next year whether it be making straight A's, finding a job, etc.

Better yourself this next year and make yourself proud! Do something for yourself!
