as a model, yoonhee never had a thought of becoming an idol. she knew that she was never really musically inclined, nor was she hoping to have a career in the music industry. so when she was offered a place in an upcoming girl group in the company by minho, she was very confused. why would he want her in the group is something she still asks herself even after their debut.

from the start, yoonhee knew that she's talentless. no matter what she did, she never reached the level of her teammates even though she'd usually stay up late to practice and in hopes of improving her skills, to the point that she'd sleep for a short time. still, she didn't give up nor quit the group like she thought she would. Being an idol wasn't enjoyable, but being with the girls was something she was thankful for. 

minho is the older brother yoonhee wished she had. maybe it's because she knew and was already a friend of his before astral even happen. despite not having the best time as an idol, yoonhee is very thankful towards him for making her debut. because of their sibling type of relationship, they also tend to fight a lot. minho would usually scold her a lot because of her stupid decisions (stuff about her love life, her eating disorder...) either way, it is minho whom she goes to when she's at her lowest when misaki is not around.

as the oldest member of astral, yoohee is intimidated by yoonhee. she always reminds to herself how respectful or serious she should be when the older is around. she also feels like it's her yoonji unnie who feels the most burdened because of her lack of talent, which she feels bad for. it's not like they hate each other, they just choose not meddle in each other's lives. out of all the members, yoonhee thinks of yoonji as a co-worker more of a friend. still, she appreciates the little things she does for her-

being the leader of a girl group is hard, much more if you're a foreigner, which is why yoonhee respects misaki a lot. she could only imagine all the hardships she goes through, and she means that quite literally since misaki doesn't typically shows her emotions. but it is the opposite if you put it in reverse. it is misaki whom yoonhee tells all her weakness to (if minho is not around), being the realiable leader that she is. whenever she does, she always end up apologizing, knowing that the older is probably busy writing something, but misaki never shows that. she wishes she could be of help to the leader, but she could only help the leader by saying her opinions of the songs she writes when she asks to, or when she needs help with something in korean.

the 91 liners or the twin towers as the fans would call them, yoonhee calls haena by her name comfortably as they were born in the same age (even though haena's somewhat an early 91/late 90). but for whatever reason, yoonhee couldn't just call haena her best friend or the closet friend that she has in the group. maybe it's because she's intimidated and jealous of her talents that she feels a bit uneasy when she's with her. still, she wishes she could be a bit closer to haena. especially since they'd usually go out and shop together. it is also haena whom she goes to when she needs advice on something she wears, trusting her sense in fashion.

a friendly and funny person in general, yoonhee doesn't really have any complaints when it comes to jieun. she's one of the few people who can make her laugh even though she's having a ty day, and she couldn't be more thankful because of that. yoonhee does, however, judges her fashion sense, having a unique but chic sense herself. at first, she'd do it quietly by just looking at her, but the more they get closer, the more vocal and pushing yoonhee is towards jieun to wear heels and pretty clothes off stage.

her baby as she would call the younger girl, yoonhee is the closest to sejin despite their two year difference. to be honest, she felt a bit awkward at first as sejin was too friendly, not only to her but to the other girls as well. her feelings change however after finding out her background, and having a secret soft side, got a little teary eyed because of it (though she never admits it). yoonhee has grown to love sejin like her own sister throughout the years, spending the most time with her when they have their day offs. she is very appreciative of how caring she of her, that she has this feeling of wanting to protect her. though they are the closest, yoonhee would hide the negative side of her to sejin and would never tell her how ty she feels most of the time as she doesn't want her to worry.

Much like sejin, yoonhee feels like she has to protect kyungmi in a way. having worked in the industry since she was just a child, yoonhee knows exactly what happens behind the scene and she wouldn't want anyone to experience the same things, especially not their youngest. she tends to be protective of the maknae line but especially ofher, a side of her she did not expect. the two would usually converse in english, with yoonhee not wanting to forget what she learnt from school. she also expresses her desire of improving it to her.
