He can sense the thugs are stopping and looking at their direction. He honestly was panicked but then, he did something he never thought he would. Especially to someone like Yeseul. No, Especially to KANG YESEUL. He carelessly slid his arm around her waist and pull her closer to him as she came in contact with his chest. He whispered, "Listen. It's dangerous. Just trust me this time." he said as he suddenly blurted out, "Seul-ah." at the end of his sentence. And Yeseul swear, this is the first time she had ever seen this serious and honestly mature side of him. And that's when, she kept quite and obey anyway.

REUNION MEETING :
Now that they are adults, there's nothing much suprising about their meeting. As Wootak and Yeseul isn't that close during their school years, they hardly remember each other's faces. Well Wootak does remember her face since an incident happened before but Yeseul never remembered his as Woo Tak changed a lot from a chubby and weightish face to a handsome and curved face. Before the reunion meeting they had together, before this, fate has brought them together before. They have bumped into each other in train before, and even stood beside each other in a train, Yeseul queuing behind Wootak while buying meals and as simple as Wootak walking pass her and none of them even realized.
Until this one day, since Yeseul worked as a travelling nurse before, there's this one time she went to Japan and isn't familiar with the language. And again, fate brought them together that she was stucked in the middle of the sidewalks, not knowing where to go and what to do and how to read the signboards and stuffs. At that time, Wootak was on a teacher's trip to one of the prestigious Japan school as a benchmark programme and at that time, he was having his time alone, walking while the other teachers got tired and stayed at their hotels. Wootak saw a girl who looked clueless and from afar, he thought she looked like a Japanese and he has heard news about how high the rate of suicidal in Japan. He thought maybe this lady is in need of someone before she suicide and Wootak wouldn't want that. And so, Han Woo Tak being Han Woo Tak, he approached her and asked, "Daijoubu desu ka?" which meant, "are you okay?' in Japanese. At that moment, he felt like his world has really turned upside down. He. Knew. This. Person. It's the girl he used to be scared of. But he It took him a few seconds that they locked gaze with each other and before Wootak could do anything, she snapped it out.
That girl, who is actually Yeseul, blinked a few times before she blurted out, "Watashi, uh- ni-ni hon jin no no." which ni hon jin means (japanese) and she was almost about to tear up but manage to hold it. Woo Tak chuckled a bit and started speaking korean to her, after immediately detected her nationality just by listening how bad her japanese accents are. "You need help?" he asked. Yeseul finally exhale oxygens before she finally asked him her desired question. Immediately, Wootak told her the answer and she thanked him before she carelessly walked away.
Right before they were both further apart, Yeseul stopped and turned as she saw him walking away and that's when she thought, "I've seen him somewhere. But- oh well."
RELATIONSHIP IN HIGHSCHOOL :
Their first meeting was iconic. It's along corridors as Yeseul was walking calmly to the cafeteria with her luncbox and that's when, Han Woo Tak, in a rush of wanting to go and meet the math teacher, as he had to check the questions of the excercises he did at home and that's when, BOOM! They bumped into each other and that's when, Yeseul's lunch box fell and it spilled all over the floor. Wootak, the fat boy (at that time), he panicked. "I'm- I'm so so so sorry, I didn't mean to- I'm-" he didn't finish his sentence and that's when, Ye seul took her box and leave all the wasted food there, with a hard sigh, signalling how pissed she got. And Woo tak captured her angry face in his mind and he started remembering the face of hers.

Well of course, Yeseul would immediately pushed him away and told him he's crazy.
But slowly, Wootak became the ones who listen to her confessions and he knew about her mostly, Slowly, he became fond of her and he started wanting to care about her and the urge feels to protect her became higher and sooner, he realized that he likes her. No, he loves her. While Yeseul on the other side, she honestly felt uncomfortable with him but there's this one time she felt like she could just lean on him.
And her heart slowly melts for him after this one time. It's when they were all seperated into pairs and Yeseul was paired with Wootak and at that time, only god knows how she honestly felt pissed with it. But then, their task suddenly drags time which they had to spend a night together somewhere. At that time, Wootak and Yeseul had to go through some forest to look for something (i leave it up to you xD) and they had to stop somewhere. Luckily, the found a place and Wootak lit up the fire and they both sat beside each other. That's when they started a conversation. It's quite deep as they talked about life, about what they felt, and it's a totally deep conversation. But not long after, Yeseul felt a touch a on her shoulders. It was Wootak's head and he slept. Yeseul was about to get mad and pushed him away but suddenly she thought, "Wootak is scared of her. Why would he purposely do it? He must be really tired." and that's when, Yeseul let him be and there, she slept with her head on his.
Soon, Wootak woke up and realized there's a weight on his head. That's when, slowly, he lifted up her head and slowly, position her body on the groud, making her lay softly there. Wootak laid beside her and examine her beautiful features before he drifted off sleep. It's a look that he never got to stare for years and now he got it. "You really are pretty, Seul-ah."
