PERSONALITY:

Short version: The smart but distant guy.

Jinyoung is an optimistic person, often looking at the bright side of things. He uses this optimistic persona to lighten up the mood. Jinyoung is smart in terms of academics and strategy, he observes and listens well which helps him learn quickly. Jinyoung can keep all the secrets that you tell him, although yes he can't talk but he does have telepathy, he has never shared anyone's secrets and kept them as promised. Jinyoung has no reason to tell a lie, he believes that it will only cause more trouble if you lie to someone especially when what you lie about is something that can affect the person greatly.Jinyoung's ability prevented him from talking causing him to become a quiet person.

Due to him being extremely quiet, people deemed him as an unapproachable person. He was a mysterious person to many people who didn't know how his abilities worked and what the consequences were if he were to utter a single word. Jinyoung is obstinate meaning that it would be hard to convince him to change his opinion or position on a matter even if you present good reasons. Jinyoung became distant to his classmates because of the negative side of his personality. He knew most of them would gossip behind his back, spreading false rumors as to why he couldn't speak.

BACKGROUND:

Jinyoung was raised only by his father as his mother left them after having a big fight. He grew up in Seoul and had many friends as a kid. As a child Jinyoung was very talkative, curious about everything around him, he would often ask his dad questions about everything he sees. Once he turned 5 years old, that's when his powers were activated. They were at the park, his dad watching over him chase a squirrel. It ran up a tree while Jinyoung was a few feet away still trying to catch it. He tripped and let out a shout. The tree broke in half and started falling towards him. His father ran by his side and used his ability to push back the tree.

His father was ecstatic to learn that his son inherited his powers but all that happiness died down when he learned that Jinyoung couldn't control it. Every word or sound he made would cause his powers to activate making him very unstable. He tried his best to teach his son to control his powers, but it seemed like nothing was working. The only thing they managed to do was train him to resist emitting any types of sounds. His father heard about the Sanctuary located in China and thought about sending Jinyoung there so that they could help him.

He was sent there at the age of 14. There he was taught how to use telepathy to speak with others so that he did not have to write everything he needed to say on a piece of paper. All the other students were distant from him due to his extremely quiet nature. This lead to some of the kids bullying him. Jinyoung wanted to fight back and yell at them but he knew that it would be very dangerous not only to the kids but also to the whole school. He would try and fight back physically but the other kids started using their powers to attack him.

Luckily a student from another class stepped in and helped the boy. She(Wenji) introduced herself to him and asked why he wouldn't fight back.Jinyoung explained everything to her using telepathy. They managed to become friends after Jinyoung getting bullied over and over again and her saving him everytime. Along came another girl(Jisoo) who was also didn't have full control over her powers. They all became close friends and helped each other in any problems they encountered.

The news about the sanctuarys getting attacked was spread throughout other sanctuarys causing a lot of panic towards the students and staff members in china. Jinyoung was picked up by his father and they returned to Seoul. He asked his son to show him how much he has improved but unfortunately he still could not talk without activating his powers. They heard the news about a sanctuary the was getting set up in Incheon. His father wanted him to go their instead of the other sanctuarys as it was easier for him to visit and check up on his son. There he was reunited with Wenji and Jisoo.

✩ Music Lover- He really wants to sing the lyrics to the songs he listens to but can't.
✩ High pain tolerance- Since people usually let out sound when they get hurt, Jinyoung was trained to prevent this from happening(Kinda like Black Bolt).

RELATIONSHIPS:

Siyoon is very caring of his son especially due to his inability to control his powers. He is very supportive to make sure that Jinyoung doesn't give up on life just because he can't control his powers. He would visit the Sanctuary to check up on his son and make sure that he isn't causing any trouble. On their free time, he would take siyoon around Seoul to eat at a nice restaurant. They would spend the day talking to each other and telling each other what goes on in their lives.

She was the one who fought off his bullies at the China Sanctuary. They became really good friends after that incident and would talk often since Jinyoung has no other friends. She introduced Jisoo to him when she arrived at the sanctuary and accidentally zapped her while giving her a handshake.

What is your power? Are there any limitations?:

✩ uses telepathy*. My main ability is what my dad calls the sonic scream, but unlike him i can't control it so i had to learn how to use telepathy to help me communicate easier with other students and teachers here at the sanctuary. The louder i scream the stronger the force. I need to resist emitting any sound to prevent any accidental use of my powers, so yeah that's it.

When did you find out about them? What happened?:

✩ I was about 5 years old when i found out about my powers. I tripped and yelled out cutting down a tree infront of me. My dad had to use his ability to stop the tree from falling on me.

How did people react when you find out, like your family or friends?:

✩ My dad was happy when he learned about me inheriting his powers but became worried when he found out i couldn't control it like he can. Well the other kids at school don't really like me, i got bullied for being like this.

How are you handling it? :

✩ I got used to not speaking so i really have no idea what i feel right now. I mean, i do want to speak again without destroying anything but it's gonna take time for me to actually do that.

Lee Jisoo

PERSONALITY:

✩ Jisoo is the hyper person out of the 3 of them. She likes telling lame jokes and puns while she is with Jinyoung and Wenji. Most of the time they would laugh at how lame it is. Jisoo likes interacting with both of them and Jinyoung was surprised that she kept on interacting with him even though he couldn't speak. Overall she has this bright and kind-hearted persona.

LOVE STORY:

✩ Jisoo was introduced to Jinyoung by Wenji. For Jinyoung it was love at first sight, he fell in love with her not only by her looks but also by her kind and hyper personality. Jinyoung acted differently when she was there. He would often just stare at her when she would start rambling about different things. One thing he admired about her was that she had so many things to talk about. Jisoo would tell lame jokes and Jinyoung would just laugh at how lame they were and tell her to do better next time.

Wenji had already noticed how Jinyoung looked at Jisoo. She would intentionally leave the two alone and watch from afar to see how things turn out. It was hilarious for Wenji. She would watch Jinyoung stare at her friend as she would talk. It was like a teacher and a student who is really interested in the subject.

Wenji told Jisoo that Jinyoung might have feelings for her based on her observation. Jisoo had to confirm this through a popular thing they do in school. Back in their school, they would find out if a guy likes a girl if she would do aegyo in front of him. The guy would stay silent if he does like her but would do otherwise if he doesn't.

Jisoo did her aegyo infront of Jinyoung when they were alone at the table and just like the rules go, he just starred at her completely stun by what she has done.

STATUS: Jihoon has fallen for her. Jisoo on the other hand doesn't really know what to do as she knows that Minjae also has feelings for her.
