This person goes and comments on people's stories and contests just to get karma.

To anyone else who does this, this is your final warning from me. I WILL be posting every single person's name and profile link in a blog for everyone to see. This isn't nice of you. To an author, the moment of "omg I got a comment?!" is incomparable. And to find its from someone like you, someone who is commenting just for their own selfish karma desire, that's a huge disappointment.

So. Take this warning and know I'll be doing this from now on.

I think what you're doing is absolutely amazing (also hello, I've returned from the depths of utter darkness and am completely lost because everything's been happening and I wasn't here to see any of it) because seriously? Commenting for karma? Not cool.

When I comment, it's because either a) There's something I wanted to point out that I think the author could benefit from or b) I genuinely enjoyed it so much that I had to say something and praise the author for their work. None of this "wonderful [insert some sparkly emoticon here]" nonsense. If it was so wonderful you'd elaborate and TELL ME WHAT YOU LIKED.

Long comment is long because I've had enough with people taking advantage of karma-earning systems for their own benefit. The system was put in place for a reason, people!

It's so rude to comment just for karma and it's not honest, either. I also don't really like it when people tell me to go comment on something to get karma. I won't do it. Commenting should be from enjoying a story, not for karma, and don't ask me to do it, either. Thank you for posting about this issue. It needs to stop NOW.

I comment for karma but I read the story first
most of the time

sometimes I comment after reading the foreward, I subscribe if I'm interested and I say
this looks interesting Ill read it as soon as I have the time, I like your plot and Your story cover is pretty

OMG THAT WAS THE LITTLE WHO ASKED ME TO "READ MY STORY JSY" IN A COMMENT ON ONE OF MY STORIES I AM SO PISSED! And she's been dropping the comment "wonderful" on some of my fics smh can I strangle this little bastard
