Grief Grocery Store

"Grief Grocery Store", written by famous Japanese writer Keigo Higashino, was rewarded Central Review Literary Award when it was published. The works is beyond the scope of detective novels, but it is more exciting than detective novels.

There is a grocery store along the quiet street, and anyone who has trouble just writes it down and put it into the letter drop of the front rolling shutter door, he will get answers from the milk box behind the store next day. These problems are various, including a young girl called Stator who hesitates between love and dreams because of her terminally ill boyfriend; Krone wanders away from home for his dream of music, but he cannot move a single step in the reality; juvenile Kosuke is struggling in the family and confusion of the future because of the family changes... They write there confusions in the letters and drop them into the grocery store, and wonderful things are going to take place. How an accidental intersection in life interprets different lives?
