Personality Positive: soeun is very reliable and friendly. You may think she is very cold, and doesn't care about anyone, but she actually has a big heart. Whenever someone is down, she would try to cheer them up and talk to them. soeun is very studious, as she grew up loving she loves books and art, always having a book near her. When it comes down to making decisions, soeun is rational about her decisions, thinking about the pros and cons about the situation. And lastly, soeun is tremendously diligent. She has an huge urge of not giving up, no matter what it takes.
Neutral: When you first take a look at soeun, she would appear reserved, and that because she is. She doesn't like talking unless she has to, otherwise she would just be reserved, in her own little world. soeun can be sarcastic, or so she thinks. She is not very good with humor, and when she is being "sarcastic", a lot of people takes it the wrong way and thinks she is bringing them down, resulting in them sometimes loathing soeun. She can be also competitive when a tasks is given to her. Because of her diligence, she can too competitive. She is very placid, as people around her can't read her emotions well just by looking at her face. By this, it is very hard to get close with soeun.
Negative: soeun is restless, especially when she's stressed. She can't be still, she has to do something when she feels like she's under pressure. With that, she gets obnoxious with her habits and just annoys everyone around her without any knowledge of it. soeun can also get very stubborn at times, especially when she's sad, tired, or stressed. At these times, soeun prefers to be alone and thinks she can deal with it herself but in reality, she can't. She also sometimes suffered from anxiety attacks when she's stressed. Because of this, soeun can be extremely insecure and doubtful about herself.

background yoon soeun was born on january 11th, 1996 in stuttgart, germany to her parents yoon taedong and kim myunghwa. she has two elder sisters; yoon sojin and yoon sohee where sojin is 7 years older and sohee is 3 years older. soeun's family had a wealthy business in germany that went bankrupt. soon enough, soeun and her family moved back to seoul when she was three years old.
soeun's parents eventually got a divorce when soeun was in the first grade, where her and her sisters lived with their dad, while her mother still having joint custody. growing up, her father has always raised his daughters in a middle class healthy lifestyle. he would make them work out every morning before school. he also raised them to be more educated, resulting in the daughters to be more grown up and fit than the other kids.
soeun was in ballet and martial arts ever since she was in the second grade. there at ballet, she had grown to love dance and music. but unfortunately, her parents were not really into the whole entertainment industry, they wanted to kids to grow up well educated and cultured. when soeun was 9, her sister sohee appeared in her first independent film, where she had wished to become an actress. their parents was completely against it, as they wished to continued in her education. though, sohee's sisters supported her.
although sohee went against her parents and still went to auditions, she managed to get into kaist in 2011. finally, sohee went against her parents' wishes and pursued her dream of acting. soeun had thought that the whole sohee situation would give soeun a path to talk to her parents smoothly about her wish of becoming an idol. it didn't. soeun had tried everything to make her and her parents happy, but it just wasn't cutting it. eventually, soeun made the same decision her sister did and went to go audition to entertainments such as cube, fnc, sm, and jyp, and they all rejected her. she had moved into an apartment with sohee in seoul for a better commute to the entertainment when soeun finished high school.
soeun's dream college was yonsei university, and she had the grades to get in for Bio-Convergence. and even though she didn't want to get her hopes up for being and idol, she passed on college and still continued to audition for entertainments, and ended up getting accepted to starship in 2014. her dream was about to come true, she wanted to prove her parents wrong and become successful as an idol.

Trainee years 2 years under starship
Trainee life soeun started to to train at starship Entertainment at the age of 18. She trained hard to fulfill her dream. At starship, soeun was very insecure because she was a new trainee and it was her first trainee experience. soeun wasn't sure if she would be a trainee if that wasn't really getting anywhere in terms of an income, and had thoughts of quitting almost everyday. fortunately, she didn't because it would mean that her parents were right about the whole idol thing. so, she worked so hard that she couldn't even see her friends. Eventually, that all paid off because she is now potentially in the line up for wjsn.
