PERSONALITY:

The bright side of Sunhee is seen by all. Sunhee is honest and never tells a lie. Her kind-hearted comes from grandmother and grandfather who took care of her while her parents worked abroad. Since Sunhee knows her parent's are working hard abroad, she works hard with her studies in order to get good grades. Energetic and hyper is her unstoppable combination which makes her emit the so called 'happy aura'. She somehow passes the energy she has to those around her which makes everyone work hard just like she does.

Of course people have their flaws and Sunhee is no exception. Sunhee may be all hyper and energetic but she can also be very annoying. Sometimes she is just too hyper and people get annoyed by this. Although she is this positive giving person she can also speak to someone with pure bluntness in her words. She won't sugarcoat her words since she prefers to tell them what she feels or thinks. A unique trait that Sunhee has is her spacing out during conversations. Her mind wanders of somewhere while someone is talking to her, she herself does not know why this happens, maybe because she lost interest in the topic they were talking about. Like her nickname, Gangster Sun, she can become partially violent. When she gets angry she starts lightly punching the shoulder of that person signaling them that she is getting pissed. BACKGROUND:

Sunhee was born in Seoul with her grandparents taking care of her. Both her mom and dad work in the US as business managers of a big company. They always keep in touch and are very supportive of their daughter. Sunhee loved dancing to the k-pop songs she heard on tv while she was young. She would dance and sing them infront of her grandparents while it was being played on tv. Her grandparents would smile and cheer her on while also capturing the moment by taking a video of it and sending it to her parents abroad. Sunhee saw how happy she makes her grandparents while she was dancing and singing. Sunhee dreamed of becoming like those people she saw on the internet so that she could be famous and make many more people happy. Sunhee started auditioning at the age of 12, she would sing and dance in countless auditions none of which had contacted her back even until she turned 13.

Sunhee did not give up because she still wanted to become an idol. She did not want her hardwork to go to waste. Sunhee stopped auditioning for just 1 year in order for her to take some dancing and singing lessons. Everyday was her going to school and going to her dancing and singing lessons. Her parent's were informed about her dream by her grandparents, although they were hesitant at first they still continued to cheer on their daughter. SM entertainment was one of the biggest agency's in south korea, it would take a miracle for her to get in but still she auditioned. After a few days of waiting, she revceived a call from the company saying that they want her to sign a contract so that she can become a trainee at their company. Sunhee was ecstatic and shared the news to her parents, grandparents and all of her friends. Sunhee now goes SM entertainment as a trainee at the young age of 15. She goes to school and to SM entertainment right after.

why did you want to become an idol?:

✩ I wanna become famous and also make a lot of people enjoy watching me perform for them.

bESIDES gIRLS GENERATION, IS THERE ANYONE ELSE UNDER SM YOU LOOK UP TO? IF SO WHY?:

✩ I look up to Red Velvet unnies because they are very popluar worldwide to they are the real definition of talent and visuals. They can all sing while dancing to a very tiring song. Its really awesome how they do that.

tHE TRAINEES WILL BE DORMED TOGETHER THROUGHOUT THE SHOW. DO YOU THINK THERE WILL BE DRAMA?:

✩ I think there will be drama, some of the trainees here are somewhat rude and if they start to get on someones nerves there will be drama. But if they get on my nerves then their wont be any drama since you won't see that trainee anymore. *small evil grin.

Your seniors have already left a legacy in their career, what kind of legacy do you want to make during the show?:

✩ I want to be known as the vibrant singer in this show. I really love singing and I have been told that I give out a very energetic aura.

TRAINEE LIFE BEFORE THE SHOW:

✩ Sunhee was just another trainee in the industry when she firs started. Her instructors where giving her the same treatment they gave everyone else. Sunhee changed all of that in a span of 2 days. Sunhee wasn't that known when she was a trainee, she would sometimes be called by the instructors and ask her to sing some part of song or create their own choreography for a dance.

Sunhee managed to shine out of the rest of the trainees. The instructor wanted the girl trainees to perform Pretty U by Seventeen since Seventeen and Red Velvet would do a collab shortly and they want to make a good impression on the boys and show them what they have got. The instructor got 13 girls including Sunhee to sing the song. The only problem was that none of the girls can hit Seungkwan's high note. He tested all 12 girls but only one was able to hit the note but she did it in a falsetto which would appear weak. That girl would be the last resort if Sunhee wouldn't be able to hit the note.

The instructor asked Sunhee to sing the high note and so she did, her voice climbed up the notes until she hit the highest one. Once she was done all the girls except one applauded her and also her instructor. They performed the song on the small stage and you can see the look on Seventeen's faces that they were amazed when Sunhee reached the highnote. They were congratulated and told to keep working hard.

Apparently the girl who did not clap for Sunhee became her enemy. This girl ,lets call her Hara, is known for always trying to get the spotlight whenever she is tasked in a group to perform. Although she does do well, she does not let the other trainees shine and only thinks about herself.

Sunhee caught Hara saying rude things to a trainee about her age because the said trainee wanted to do the highlight part of the song because she knows she can do it. Hara got pissed and started lashing out mean words towards the poor girl, luckily Sunhee was there to stop Hara from abusing the girl. Hara turned her attention towards Sunhee and started saying that she stole her moment to shine in front of Seventeen. Sunhee was now angry at Hara and gave her a short but hurtful remark, "That high note part was never meant to be for you, you can't even hit it properly." Hara got pissed and attempted to slap Sunhee but Sunhee caught it and tossed her arm away. Sunhee was about to beat the living hell out of Hara but noticed that the other girl was still their. She told Hara to get lost and asked the girl if she was alright. The girl nodded and went of.

Sunhee continues to improve her vocal techniques and tries to increase the range of her voice.

Her dancing is pretty good also and she also gets a lot of praise from her instructor.

Sunhee continues to shine as a trainee.

STRENGTHS: Sunhee excels mostly in singing she has great technique and her voice remains stable even if while dancing. She is also good at dancing, she can follow choreography well.
