Questionnaire

I randomly found this at yffismydrug and just thought, why not? So here it goes~

*****

1. What was your first story? When was it published? What was it about?

My first ever fanfic was The versatile present and was first published on December 19th 2008. It was a Christmas fic and dealt with a YunHo being very anxious about his self-made present for JaeJoong.

2. What's your favorite story you've written? And what's the plotline?

My favourite would be サダメの薄幸な恋人 - The star-crossed lovers of Sadame, an exchange fic for riseofnoona for the jaeho_xchange from 2012. It is about a world of fairies and vampires that exists next to Earth how we know it. It is about a vampire, YunHo, who is still attached to his human customs and life and finds it hard to get used to the customs in Sadame, and a fairy, JaeJoong, who is unique in many aspects. They fall in love, simply because fate has chosen YunHo for JaeJoong. It is a forbidden love, and albeit keeping their relationship a secret for some time, they are found out. There is unconditional love, there is drama, there is a YunJae baby because male pregnancy is the cutest thing to imagine ♥

3. Have you ever written for a holiday/special occasion?

Yes, very often even. I've written a few times for Christmas, Valentine's, YunJae's anniversary and quite often for birthdays. For that matter both for the boys and my readers.

4. What username did you publish your first story under?

haru_ran. I actually use this one mostly. There are only a few exceptions, mostly for animanga stories. I'm not particularly sure why I chose a different one on here, but I'm pretty fond of it.

5. How many stories do you have (published) on aff? How many are completed?

I've got a total of 60 stories on here, and it honestly are not all I ever shared on LJ or AO3 for that matter. 47 of them are marked completed and most of them are One Shots.

6. How many aren't published?

Oh, are you sure you want to go down that road? At the top of my head I can recall 13, but this needs checking.

..... It are a total of 16, and I only counted those that actually have progress already not those only having a plot draft it would be far too many to count tbh.

7. What helps you think or inspires you when writing fanfictions/stories?

When I'm actually writing then music keeps me going. I really can't stand silence for that matter. Although imagining what I want to write down keeps me inspired, although it gets a little frustrating sometimes when I can't find the right words.

8. What date did you join aff?

August 12th in 2012 .... Huh. The irony of life.

9. What was the first tag you looked up when you joined aff?

I never actually looked up a tag back then. I simply went straight to a fic fanfan69 was so kind to share the link with me. xD

10. Who are your top three authors, and why?

Ugh, now there you ask me something. Now that I think back to my active reading days there were quite a few.

miss_sanzo - She has a very sweet way of writing and hers are probably the only band!verse fics I remember loving to read.

Isami - Her writing was splendid. It is still so sad that she left fandom so long ago and took down all her fics ;;

yukimiya87 - I actually really can't explain. I just love her writing.

11. What is your opinion of kaistal?

*blinks* I, er, assume this is a pairing name but I'm not familiar with it. I honestly am not a K-Popper in general. I just enjoy a few bands ;;

12. What type of story are you most in your element writing? Is it something you write often?

Hm, probably romance, fantasy, oh, and horror and thriller ♥ Also YunJae dealing with kids. It is so much fun ♥

I write romance very often, fantasy not as often but I still enjoy it. Horror and thriller is still a little seldom but I might change that. Muhahahaha.

YunJae with kids, either their own (mpreg ♥) or their nephews/nieces or others, is something I find myslef writing a lot. A lot more even ever since I am an aunt.

13. What type of story are you least in your element writing?

I'd say there is none, but then again I haven't tried everything. I do have problems with some pairings I figured, but I simply don't use them once I figured they are not my cup of tea.

14. What is one thing you hate seeing in comments?

Until now I always thought there is nothing, but it seems I was wrong. I really don't fancy quick judgement of characters or the fanfic when it just started. I mean, there might happen so many things on the way. Many things will be explained along the progress. How will anyone know if they don't keep reading? As an author I obviously know what is going to happen and how my chosen pairing is gonna end up together.

15. What sort of author's note do you make?

Mostly what inspired the piece, with sensitive stuff a reminder that everything is just fiction and not to be taken seriously although I think this should be logical and sometimes a dedication of sorts if it was written for someone or for a special occasion.

16. Name three things you love doing when you write/update:

1 - When writing, drowing in any kind of music.

2 - Spazzing with fandom buddies. Mostly fanfan69, my dawtie (who as well is my beta), my waifu, or hana_cho and sidmaron every now and then.

3 - Writing on a paper first and adding spur of the moment things.

17. What are you most insecure about in your writing?

My endings. I have difficulties finding one I am really satisfied with. Also I always hope that my plot does not turn too cliché.

18. What is your favorite band/pairing/whatever to write about? Why?

Well that is easy. Favourite band without doubt is TVXQ/JYJ and with it, for me, comes YunJae. I can't really explain why, they just pulled me into their spell and I find them very lovely. As mentioned before, I have a thing for writing them with children ♥

19. And your second favorite? Why?

Very easy as well. Hannigram. I swear, Hannibal with Will is the iest thing on Earth. I've always had a thing for the character Hannibal Lecter but the TV series Hannibal and Mads Mikkelsen totally heaved it to another level. It's just perfection ♥

20. Name something you see in comments rather often.

"Sequel please?"

Mostly in combination with my One Shots. I actually used to find it annoying, but it actually is a little flattering. I mean, it kind of means that people liked it so much that they want more of it. I do not write sequels for the sake of it, but if I indeed find something to tell more then why not?

21. Name a story you've (probably) neglected.

All ongoing ones, haha. I always tell myself to change and for once finish writing a story before publishing it, but I always end up doing the opposite. I'm such a fail for that matter. I really admire those who can pull through it.
