BACKGROUND : born on the early end of february as the only daugher to a lower middle income class with two working parents, often spends her time alone at home which prompts to uncontrollable imagination firstly develop through barbie and ken doll. had always been the noisy kid in class who does nothing but nap and sleep and talk about any given famous k-idols, and it's a miracle how she ends up gaining a spot in snu's korean literature major. she still thinks it's due to sheer luck. parents could not really cover the cost of moving her to the capital city, and paying the cost of the school, so she had to work numerous part time job to foot the bill. during her last year, she released her first book titled "the heartless" which garnered her surprising fame. with that, she finishes off her school debt, quit her part time job, graduated, and became a full time author. her book is then followed by "snow country" two years after her graduation.
LIFESTYLE :
i. post marriage, jungkook's parents bought them an apartment at 'la belle' as a marriage gift, and as someone who works at home with no schedule, she often ends up knocking on her neighbours door needing company. after jungkook bought her their dog cream, she became less lonely and more productive. is cuttently finishing the draft of "the old capital". does not have a set schedule and plops her in the laptop whenever she feels like. other than that, plays around with cream.
ii. in fact, her life centers around cooking and cream. shops early in the morning for cheap groceries after jungkook left for work, while walking cream in the morning, then, at around 11 a.m. she will start lunch prep and eat at 12 a.m. sometimes inviting people in the wife club. would either play with cream or start writing, or watch documentary (basically anything she feels like), or sometimes even goes to shopping centers for afternoon tea. start meal prep for dinner at 7 p.m. and finishes at 8 p.m. when jungkook arrives home.
iii. alone at home often triggers her to do random like teaching cream to play dead when she says shoot, attending the wife squad's home and sipping tea and talking tea with them, and other stuff.
BAE JOONA & BAE EUNJEONG : parentsher lit parents, they are much similar to her, with endless joke and memes up their sleeves, especially with joona being outspoken and eunjeong being humorous. they didn't give much materials to their daughter but she ended up becoming the person she is thanks to them, and she wouldn't trade them for anything else. often playfully teases jungkook and jisun about their relationship.
JEON SUNJI & JEON JUNGSOO : in-lawsjungkook's parents whom she originally believe to be super intimidating as they are high class bred while she does not even know what spoon to use for their dinner, but rather, incredibly relaxed about her disposition and believes that background income or anything like such does not matter as long as jungkook's happy. they treat jungha like she's their own daughter and generally, also often teases jungkook and jisun's relationship.
CREAM : doggobought by jungkook on their 3rd day of marriage after a series of spams during his work about how she's lonely and bored. the name cream originated from their lame continuous series of "milk, cookies, and cream". at first, jungkook reluctantly bought it but now cream became an irreplaceable part of their life. a young pom no more than 5 months old, accompanies jisun 24/7.
CHA JIWON : best friend's wifeknows more about her before they formally met because honestly when has eunwoo stopped talking about her. hit it off faster than she hits it off with eunwoo which shocks all parties involved, and now they throw garage parties casually like nbd. often the two got tangled in noise complaints by their not-so-lit neighbour, but shows no sign of stopping anytime soon.
CHA EUNWOO : best friendduring the first moments she came to snu, she does not have that much friends because she's way too absorbed in watching the sceneries. he was a part of an organization she wants to join and that's how it took off. they have more common things than they thought, and became best friends relatively quick. was there through the whole "eunwoo-jiwon" process, and gives him advices.

i. looking at just jisun and jungkook, their relationship are filled with hard contrast from the get go. as opposed to jisun who naturally approach people, it takes while to get him to open up. he prefers to stay in quiet surrounding filled with close friends, then, his humorous side would slowly appear. once you are close, however, prepare for series of random dancing, dorky hobbies, and a companion to go with you everywhere you go. he reminds jisun of a hedgehog, awkward and distant at first, but becomes cuddly after the ninth, tenth, meeting.
ii. as a husband, he does not nag at jisun much for not doing her part properly (i.e. dirty laundry, mess around the house, etc.) he prefers to do it by himself quietly. he understands that she has he own stress and so does he, therefore, does not try to force his ideology too much upon her. however, he is generally emotional compared to the logical jisun, and would sooner explode in confrontation, although this happens rarely, since most of the time his emotional tendency tends to spew out in tears.
iii. is a meme icon once you know him. burst out random sassy comments in quiet meetings suddenly, and most people tend to go "whoa, did he really just say that?" the more you befriend him the more jisun-ish he becomes.
i. contrary to jisun who can do whatever the hell she wants, there is a daily routine for jungkook to follow. per average, he works during the day as an assistant and return home for the night with the condition that he should come right away had there been any incident during the night and they require his assistance. he leaves at 8.30 p.m. and return home at 6-7 p.m. sometimes way to the a.m.'s had there been an incident. he is free during the weekends.
ii. during work days, he would wake up earlier than jisun for early morning gym session, return home to breakfast made by his truly, and proceed to leave for work. they don't contact much during his work days thanks to the undeniably strict laws for junior doctor, but he makes it up by sending food pics during lunch break.
iii. each time he comes home at 6 p.m. they would have a dinner together and she would pick him up. during the weekends, sometimes they go and have a 2 day and 1 night trip around south korea, but most of the time they just eat and lay in bed watching movie re-runs.
jisun never notices it though, but ever since they first met, her friendly and amiable nature had won his heart rather nicely,
it was, at first, completely awkward especially since jisun's pickup line mainly consist of overly ual jokes she uses for funky one night stands ("roses are red, violets are blue, guess what, my bed has room for two", "twinkle twinkle little star we can do it in a car") or those to creep out old men ("row row row your boat gently down the stream, merrily merrily, merrily i can make you scream") which prompt her friend to suggest her to wait until he did instead.
she did however, approach him first, not using those pickup lines they don't work because she tried asking eunwoo and he just started screaming. it was when her teacher required them to do a medical analysis on a novel's work, and her, being the dumb she is, does not know a squat, which ends in a text buzzing midday on jungkook's phone that goes sort of like
he was happy seeing there's someone as interested in medic as he is, despite it not being her major (he thinks she looked cute asking him ways to murder someone, not that he's into those kinds of thing) and she liked how enthusiastic he was answering her dumb questions.
it was another delightful surprise when the next day she woke up to his text:
one meeting soon turned to two, then third, then so on. it wasn't until their sixth to seventh month of endless meeting and pointless discussion about how to conduct a proper murder (reasons why jungkook would never cheat on her, second to how much she loves jisun). honestly, their relationship are filled with much teasing from all parties. her parents loved how jungkook and jisun shares affection awkwardly but discuss about medical situation like it's no big deal. they love how someone shares their child's passion. jungkook's parents, much to jisun's surprise, loved her. as the first daughter his son brought home whom happened to put the coordinated jungkook into blushing mess, they love the effect she has on him, and often teases him about it.
it took them seven months for their first kiss, jungkook confesses it took him lots of practices, lots of cherry stem, afraid jisun would be more experienced and he'd disappoint which she promptly laughs at. it took them one and a half year to introduce each other to their parents, with jungkook's parents so curious on who made their son smile so brightly, and jisun's parents curious about why their daughter became so excited about crime novels so suddenly. jungkook started their first fight, an incredible two years after their first relationship, afraid of how jisun will drift away from him post graduation, and they made up that day with flowers and lots of tears involved.
the way he proposes was an accident. he planned it for months, how he would get her a dainty ring (he remembers jisun saying she'd like a tiny ring that would not disrupt her writing) and bought her one. he just didn't know how.
it was the christmas after his graduation where the whole jeon family threw a christmas party and she was invited. they accidentally walked under the mistletoe. the family were cheering on them to kiss and they did, and it all rushed in jungkook's mind how it's been six years but he wants to spend so much more and prompt to kneel down and took out the engagement ring he had kept since months ago and proposed to her which she almost immediately accept with tears in her eyes.
WEDDING BELL :
i. jisun does not want a lavish wedding, in fact, she would start on a rant about how much video games and pop tarts she could buy with $30.000 and jungkook just really genuinely wants to make her happy so they spend the money on video games and pop tarts instead. their family, respecting their decision, let them do whatever they want. their wedding ended up being in a rooftop with the official ceremony at sunset, and the rest of the wedding happening under a starry sky with a "find the constellation" activity in between. they did not invite many people, especially with jungkook being an introvert, and jisun having enough audacity to only invite close friends as she does not want that many people. jisun wore a simple dress she found on etsy, a bargain for $855, while jungkook wore a personalized suit for the wedding. she does not really do much with her hair, just curl the ends like how she always does. jisun loves talking about the food, about how their teeny tiny blt sandwhich was surprisingly loved by the jeon side of the family jisun was initially stressed about. how the dinner course jungkook ordered impressed everyone, and how the milk and cookies bar was a hit. they ended the wedding with a dance session started by jisun and jungkook's first dance followed by a series of dope jam songs. their wedding ring (jisun's, jungkook's) was chosen by the other. both a simple ring they wear daily.
ii. with how little they spend on their actual wedding they ended up having a swell honeymoon touring north italy, switzerland, and the south of france in a span of one and a half week. they stayed in motels (jungkook's parents offered by buying them a five star hotel room in each destination, but jisun refused saying she, at least, want to be the one paying for their stay with how much they spent on the weddings, plane ticket, car rent, etc.) and experience everything from street dining to fine dining in those countries.
INTERACTIONS :
i. their interaction just looked overall very goth and creepy. imagine discussing dinner with how "i have a patient in the er today who tried to dug out half of his eyeball" answered with "i think that makes a great novel plotline tell me more" but it's these kinds of openness that caused them to stay with each other for many years. with common interest in questionable documentary, literature, and the weird side of science, their topic of conversation genuinely sounds ominous. it's a great thing though, as it flows naturally. you just don't want to be around them during dinner time.
ii. romantically wise, they're a mess. it's their sixth year together and counting and jungkook still has an awkward blush each time they hold hands, not to mention the silly grin he has. not much for pda, most of the time their romances are kept inside the apartment. even jisun's milky nickname do not come up in conversation topic until one of the wife squad accidentally misheard.
iii. marriage wise, they have a great communication. not that they worry about money, but jisun is not prone to lavish questionable purchase, and they talk about their shared finances openly. there are not many arguments, the last time they fight was prewedding when jisun wants him to invite only close family but jungkook wants to invite pretty much the whole clan as jisun is silent when angry and jungkook's inevitable anger tendency often dissipates because angry jisun scares him.
iv. they tease each other a lot, like how jisun often refers to him as "meme icon" and how jungkook says "he can't believe he had to call her noona" because of how excited she gets
— their first time was also after their wedding date, jisun was experienced, and jungkook was awkward
