APPEARANCE Finn is taller, taller than any other eleven year old. He finds it a hindrance, because his height and weight ratio makes him awkwardly lanky. Despite his lanky build, he is very sporty and his long legs make him faster than your average preteen boy, so he counts that as an advantage. He has unruly curly black hair, which he tries to keep under control, but fails all the time.

FASHION Finn has no fashion sense. He will wear whatever he is given, 'cause he has learned not to be picky with necessities.

Finn is your average kid, well at least that's what he'd like other kids to believe. That's pretty much a lie. He's the crazy kid who comes up with the craziest ideas - which could be seriously harmful- and gets away with them every time. Despite this, he is very reliable, though he would prefer if people did not rely on him. He pretty much hates people and is not afraid to show it. He would not really go out of his way to demonstrate that hate though. He is very stubborn and rebellious towards anything he dislikes, not that he dislikes anything in Hogwarts. It's a real step up for him. Finn is very independent and does not care for other people's opinions. He's the loner kid, who everyone finds kind of interesting and also intimidating, despite his goofy face. He's the kid that talks back to teachers and debates them to the best of his abilities and gets away with it, because he can actually build up reasonable arguments and also because he is always curious and attentive towards what the teachers are explaining. He's also very patient and never gets worked up when dealing with bullies, unless they call him Finnigan. That right there is his trigger and then he's a bull seeing red. He is not a kid who can be pushed around. He's tough, has seen things and knows that there is nothing free in this world. He doubts anyone and everyone he meets, because he knows that no one is willing to give something away, without expecting something in return. He's a bold kid, he likes to keep things clear and does not worry about offending anyone. If he's bored with you, just like he is easily bored with everything, he will say so and won't be afraid of damaging your self esteem. He knows that people will enjoy pushed him down in life, so he does not let anyone get close enough to him to actually hurt him. He is imaginative and creative. He always needs something new, newer than new even. He likes to explore things both physically and in his thoughts. If that's not enough to get rid of his boredom, then he is willing to interact with others and make them do things they would not usually do. 

BACKGROUND 
Zinaida Marley was a girl who dreamed of becoming a revolutionary doctor, who would find the cure for cancer and change the world. She dreamed of conquering and shattering stereotypes about women being useless outside of housework and becoming more successful than any other person in her field. Unfortunately, life is not always what we want it to be, espefically for a young girl born in the 60s. Zinaida wanted to conquer the world, yet she could not persuade her father to let her make her dreams come true, so instead of a doctor, she became a nurse. Having no motivation in life, Zinaida was miserable, but she found happiness again, when she met doctor Alan Rory. He was everything Zinaida wanted to become, but he was married. This did not stop the man from pursuing her and she could not refuse him, as the only joy in life at that moment was the way her heart would beat when Alan talked to her. She was madly in love and she gave her everything to him in hopes that Alan would leave his wife. Once again she was face with bitter disappointment. As soon as Alan found out that she had become pregnant with his child, he packed his family and bags up and moved away. Left alone and disgraced, Zinaida was once again miserable. She was shunned by her family and all of the town for her mistakes and disgrace. Not able to stand the isolation anymore, she decided to move to Cork, where she gave birth to Finnigan. She was not ready to raise a child, but she did not have the heart to abort him either. She hoped that Finnigan would become her joy, but it turned out that she did not have the heart to love the boy. She managed to devote her life to  her kid for a short while, but soon Her escape became drugs and fleeting romances. To say that such an environment was not suitable for child care would be an understatement. For most of his childhood, Finn was shut in the ty apartment that they lived in. Zinaida  became an abusive mother, who would not even let her kid set a foot outside the house. She brought home men that spoke a language Finn did not know, yelled at him with words he did not understand and beat him when he failed to obey them. For her, the most important things in life now were drugs and how well her nameless lover could her. Her own life was too much to handle, let alone Finnigan's. That's why at the age of 9, Finn decided to run away, while Zinaida was splashed out on he floor high on heroin. He left Cork and got himself help from a couple of shady dudes, because they were the only people who understood the words he spoke. With him were other children, including Noah, a sickly boy that befriended Finn with small kind gestures. The kids were smuggled into London and Finn could not be happier. That was until he overheard the men talking about how much money they would make for selling the kids. Just like his mother, Finn was disappointed in the world. He grabbed Noah and they made an escape. Their only option was to flee and try to live on the streets. Because of Noah's sickly body, he got sick with pneumonia often. Finn would sneak various pills from the hospital for him, but after a particularly rough month, Noah died and Finn continued living in the broken down van Noah had found. When the letter came for him about how he was a wizard, he was skeptical, but he could not help the spark of hope that it ignited.  

TRIVIA
•His priciest possession is his cassette player and the acompanying joy division albums, "unknown pleasures" and "closer" •He had a stray dog taken under his wing, but the dog died from rabbies. Fortunately Finn avoided getting bitten by the dog. •He is very curious and likes to read, even though he has not had many opportunities to do so. He would spend most of his time reading and practicing new spells. •Other kids don't like him because of his alleged teacher's pet status. On the other hand, teachers don't like him because of his smartass attitude.

OTHERS
Out of all the teachers, Snape dislikes him the most, but he appreciates how much effort he puts into his studying. Despite this he still goes out of his way to "reprimand" Finn with harsh words and warnings, because of Finn's tendecy to go overboard and make potions of his own mix. On the other hand, professor Whits and coach Crowell like him a lot. The former because of his enthusiasm and the latter because of his athletic ability. Even though Finn abhors the idea of playing a team sport, quidditch still interests him and coach Crowell is very persuasive.

 

ARE YOU EXCITED ABOUT GOING TO HOGWARTS? "Very. I'm beyond excited. I'm on the ninth sky" he says, but there is no evidence of excitement. 

WHICH HOUSE DO YOU WANT TO GET INTO?  "I don't really care. As long as people don't bother me" it is simple for him, he just wants to make the most of the Hogwarts experience and socializing is not a part of the pleasant type for him.

IS THERE A HOUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO BE IN?  "Does not matter. Again, as long as people don't bother me" there was also the fact that he did not exactly know what the houses were called.

WHICH CLASS ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO? "Each and every one of them" this was the answer that was the most sincere.

WILL YOU BE TRYING OUT FOR QUIDDITCH? "If it requires team work then no"

ARE YOU BRINGING A PET? "No. I don't have pets."

ANY THOUGHTS ON HE-WHO-MUST-NOT-BE-NAMED OR HIS FOLLOWERS? "I have no idea who that is or who his followers are and I don't really care either." A snort followed. How cringy was that.

IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU'D LIKE TO ADD? "Let's just never talk again. Does that sound good? Sounds good to me."

 

COMMENTS: there are probably lots of typos in this. My laptop broke down, so I had to do this with my phone. That's why it took so much time to get this done ;; so I looked over the app again and what I had forgotten to mention was in the background that she had kept Finn locked inside the house and never even let him attend school. So I understand why that would be confusing with the languages. I added the details, if there's still a problem with it then I'll change it up.
SUGGESTIONS: other kids whispering about him, around him, on the train because of his appearance, the dirty clothes, unruly hair and his height.
PASSWORD: Ravenclaw or slytherin? I think Slytherin would be better, cause he would be a muggleborn among the purebloods
