no matter how drastic a situation is for jiwoong, he is able to keep his emotions and thoughts under his belt. he's not sensitive when it comes to negative feedback from others and always manages to keep himself calm and collected. he uses the negative comments as a propel to make himself better, not worse. jiwoong isn't the type to give up easily even if things get rough. he's constantly thinking "i can't back down since i've made it this far", and that drive keeps him going for the long run. because of his age and role as an older member, he takes care of others well even when they don't ask for his help. if jiwoong is in a condition where he has to choose love over friendship, he'd choose friendship in a heartbeat.
jiwoong is pretty good looking and he admits it. he takes good care of his appearance but there are times where he needs assurance from others that he looks good and does good in general. it's a turn off to most women that a man cares so much for his looks, but with a desire to become an idol, it's hard not to care about looks when that is a big part to whether you make it or break it with fans. jiwoong hates beating around the bush so he's pretty upfront when he has something to say, and this can come off as rude to other people at times and rub them the wrong way if they don't know him personally. he holds grudges a lot but he consistently reminds himself that he's better than that. though that doesn't help much because people really say and do things that grind his gears. though he's fairly good at keeping peace with others; if you piss him off then it's really too late. he'll blow up and get extremely scary to face. he needs to punch something in order to cool down; which has resulted in a few holes in the wall at the company and dorm. he's also fairly secretive. he doesn't like telling people his life story and keeps his personal life, well, personal.

jiwoong didn't come from a broken family. he had a normal one, or at least that's what he tells himself. he was very used to his parents arguing over petty issues like money and work. his dad always cursed his mom underneath his breath in front of him while his mom was busy nagging about how much of a loser his dad was for not being able to make more income. some nights they'd get along and some nights, they wouldn't. some nights the fights weren't so bad but other nights there was a lot of cursing and throwing of objects around the house. on those nights, jiwoong only had himself. there were nights he wanted to cry because it was stressful as a kid to witness your parents gnawing at each other's throats. but he couldn't cry because he had to be strong for the times his mom came to him crying and wanting to be consoled. he had to protect her by all means so he developed the mental strength and ability to control his emotions. but some times, he wasn't able to control it. he was only a kid after all. so he picked up on habits from his dad and became angry. little things would trigger him and he would lash out by punching objects and getting physically violent to unlease his anger. he was angry that other kids his age had parents who cared and loved them. he was angry other kids had families that got along and would take them out for fun on the weekends. jiwoong was busy cleaning the broken glasses on the weekends. he was angry he couldn't have that lifestyle. he wanted love and affection. but there was none.
since he couldn't cry in front of his mom, he used music as a way to cope with his family problems and the anger when he couldn't find the means (or objects) to lash out at. it calmed him down and lifted up his spirits when he was down. this is where his interest for becoming an idol came into play. he wanted to calm people with music just like how music had calmed him when he was a young boy, and it still does up until now. his family wasn't a rich family yet they weren't poor either. his parents could afford to send jiwoong off to follow his dreams to become an idol, because they've heard his voice and knew it was the right decision to send him somewhere to make use of it. however, they criticized him a lot for failing and not being able to debut right away like most idols. through the criticizing, they kept allowing him to continue with training and he resented his parents a lot. he had so much to say because they didn't understand it was more to being a trainee than they would ever know. but, he kept his mouth shut because they were still financially supporting him. jiwoong was scooted into beau entertainment when a staff member found jiwoong singing during an open mic session at a busking event. he was able to pass auditions and accepted into training shortly after.

PIANO : during his years as a trainee, he was given the option to pursue in one music instrument and he chose the piano. he has one in the dorm and practices piano if not dancing and singing.

SLACKERS : there are slackers on the team at times. when it's a group effort, these slackers bring the group down and act as a heavy weight on jiwoong. at times he'll pick fights with them and lash out in anger due to their laziness.
DIETS : just like girl groups, boy groups do their fair share in dieting for comebacks. jiwoong is a lover of food so when he gets restrained from eating, he gets irritated on the inside.
AMUSEMENT PARKS : he's not the bravest when it comes to rollercoasters. his greatest fear is sitting on one and being filmed. he's not ready to expose his screaming to everybody.
cute concepts : if there's anything he hates more, it's having to act younger than his age to appeal to the audience. but whatever it takes to make money, he'll bite his tongue and go forward with it.

taking walks : he will normally convince one member to go on a night walk with him to have some deep talks. he tries to switch it up as it's his way to get closer with each person.

im jinhyuk. they have good synergy. there is always one that leads and the other follows without question. they switch on and off and depend on each other a lot without really knowing it. because jinhyuk is the leader, he's busy taking care of the younger ones so jiwoong tries his best to take care of jinhyuk; despite being younger himself. but being two of the older members in the team, jiwoong sees jinhyuk as his respected hyung but also his best friend. he claims they're like peanut butter and jelly. jinhyuk is the only person by far jiwoong feels comfortable opening up to. they often talk about many things. mainly their ual experiences, though jiwoong hasn't told jihyun about his relationship with hyemi... when asked who he's shared ual moments with, jiwoong just brushes it off and says "just a nuna i know."
lee hyemi he's had a crush on his nuna for as long as he can remember. he admired her passion for singing and it made him want to work harder. they worked closely together daily and it often resulted in a lot of flitratious banter; which only brought more for the two.
it took just one stressful training day and drunken night for jiwoong to barge into her office buzzed and confess his undying love for her. before he could even take back his actions, he remembers pulling hyemi in for a steamy kiss, thinking he'd get rejected. but he thought wrong. after that night, the two secretly meet often in a secluded practice room to,,, 'practice' and warm up their vocals. his feelings for hyemi grow stronger after each meeting, though realistically he knows nothing more will come out of what they have together. but he doesn't want to think about it yet. he'll deal with it when it comes. her contact name under his phone is "hae hyung" so people don't get suspicious.
