I ducking (I hate ducks) swear upon ducks that your graphics are increasing in quality than decreasing and I'll keep reassuring you till you believe it. J, you got so so much potiential and talent and you're channeling it into such beautiful graphic designs it's amazing. Sure, they is space to improve bc we can never stop get better but heck, when I look at my old designs and my recent ones I feel a 1000% times better. If you compare your current ones to the old ones J, my lil fluff ball who is secretly mushy inside too, you will definitely see a huge ducking improvement. yay positivty ~ whoosh~ <3

You've come so ducking far from where you started and don't let the fact that maybe you didn't meet with her expectations but c'mon man, everyone has different imaginations so of course it wouldn't come out exactly the way she wanted, don't let it get you down. I've done my fair share of redos in it used to hurt but now im just like
"nah fam, I worked hours on this so please just use it. It's your fault for not specifing things you would like in it. I mean there's legit a "Anything special you want?" section on the form."

You can do that too J bae, so then you can kindly refuse redos while emphasizing on the fact that its too late. (im going all over the place, sowwy)

Don't let others expectations get you down because you are a talented lil and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. I got my frying pan polished and ready <3

No wayyyy! Working with you mad me feel like , because you were sooooo good! Redo's don't mean failure, it means getting something and making it even better! Don't give up on yourself!

Hiya there! I definitely feel the same way that you do, and I think I'm also at my limits right now with graphics. I mean I don't feel creative anymore and anytime I work on something, I dread doing it. I don't know what's wrong with me now. I do acknowledge that I am not up to par with other designers, but it's saddening when requesters want you to do your graphics similar to another designer's style... and I feel like that's not right, because one. it's not my style, two. this is very rude to the designer, and three. why the hell are you not requesting at their place instead? I may be very lenient with my requesters, but I feel like they take graphics like a joke. I don't give them a specific time for the poster to stay on their stories, but is it that necessary to repeatedly change your posters? I feel like my efforts are wasted and I am unappreciated, maybe some other designers feel this too. It's almost comical looking back at it now...
I also enjoyed experimenting new things with designing, and that's usually also when I do my best, but I cannot freely do that with the requests here on AFF because it seems like a lot of people aren't very open to have their posters stray from their imaginations. And now, all my posters are all strategic, bland steps, and painfully dreadful for me to make because I like to be spontaneous and do as I please to make the poster look good. I know that this may be a hit or miss with requestors, so I stray from exploiting my posters as a request posters. When I do try to go outside the box for requesters, they get scared of the results, but when I do it without a request and set it as my examples only, everyone likes them... so I don't know what to deliver to be honest.
sorry i rambled on, I have many things to say too and I didn't know who to tell until I saw your post XD But if anything, I don't think you should stop designing because you're an amazing designer. Maybe you can put designing away for a bit to cool off you mind, cause I did it for 4 years before coming back on here XD You got this! ^_^

You are absolutely amazing and I'm not even kidding rn. Seriously, if you stop AFF loses another amazing designer. There's always room for improvement but you can't improve if you give up :(

JORDAN, no!! ;A; Yeah, it can pretty disheartening to get asked for a redo, but some people just have a certain expectation fixed in their minds that doesn't always come close to the grapic maker's, and the least they can do is to request without having any expectations, but some people are just like that and that's totally fine, because not everyone has the same taste. Just think about all the great people who love what you're doing for them, including me, and I'm more upset about the fact that I haven't found earlier <3
