I barely use it but most just write little blurbs or thoughts that they come across about their story or in regards to updates. They're kinda just like passing thoughts or side remarks for the most part. Plus, subscribers can see them on their profile so if you want to update them on your story, you can do that instead of posting a filler chapter.
