Writing another story when I have three more to finish hahahahahaha kill me pls

So, Dark Souls. Aka Git Gud Skrub™ is a video game for all you non-gamers out there where literally all you do is die and rage. And I'm writing a Vkook story based on this game. 

It's like I hate myself lol 

Here's the not-really-a-prologue-prologue (excuse the tense change idk man): 

The world has always been swallowed by Darkness.   The living feared the terrible demons that roamed the lands; the demons pillaged and feasted upon them like cattle.  Hope was a fleeting dream until the King of the Dawn wielded the First Flame.  

Demons fled back into the recesses of the Abyss once fire spread across the land, giving the living light, warmth, and hope.  Society flourished under the King’s Flame.  Cities were built, people lived well, and the world was good again.

Tranquility lasted for but a moment for the fire brought about the beginning and the end.

A horrid Curse reaped the people.  They were subjected to an eternal cycle of death and rebirth.  The living were no longer alive; they were Undead.   The Undead are immortal, but with each death their soul corrodes, driving them to insanity.

Once an Undead suffers too many deaths, they turn Hollow and become monsters with an insatiable thirst for blood.

The King of the Dawn, now Hollowfied, keeps the First Flame alive, for if the Flame is snuffed, Darkness will return and the demons will crawl out of the Abyss to wreak havoc once again.

But the Flame is dying, and Darkness is on the horizon.  Jungkook, tasked with the burden of rekindling the Flame, must make a pilgrimage across ashen lands, riddled with Hollows, to make the ultimate sacrifice. 

Lowkey I know nobody is gonna read it tbh because fantasy isn't a celebrated genre around here /cries and the thing about Dark Souls is that the story is up to you to find and interpret. It's not given to you, so I took some liberty to change up the lore and whatnot because #yolo
