1998saranamichael brought this topic up so I thought I'd post it as well, because it is a real problem. A lot of writers (myself included) feel disheartened when they get a lot of subscribers/readers, but no one gives any written feedback. I believe that we should start interacting more with the authors whose fics we read, because they need it. Our comments reassure them, make them believe in their skill as a writer, or can even help them improve their writing style (constructive feedback, not criticism!), and... surprise!... it doesn't cost a thing to leave some comments! Let's do this y'all! 

Let's repent for our sins, the most deadly sin of being a silent reader, reading stories without leaving a comment or at least an upvote if we enjoyed the story!

Let's make it a habit from now on to always leave comments on how we feel about a story especially if we enjoyed it to begin with.
