advice on translating a fic

Just a quick question. What should i do if someone ask to translate your works in another language? You know, theres an issue with plagiarism and all. I'm just too afraid i think? If anyone ever gave their permission to translate, what would you suggest to me?

Some authors don't allow the translation of their works because of the plagiarism issues, and other authors are okay with translations as long as the translated work has a link back to the original story or rightful credits to the original author.

So my advice is that, if the thought of someone being able to have your work/s makes you uncomfortable or afraid, then I suggest that you decline the request for the translation. However, if you think that the translator is trusty enough for you to guve your work for them to translate, then I don't see any problem with that^^

The decision is in your hands~ better be careful tho! There were cases that some "translators" take the opportunity to scam people and claim the author's work :(
