Kyulkyu has always been a friendly person. She is easy to approach and has a peaceful nature about her that make people feel comfortable around her. She makes friends easily and can talk to girls easily - boys and men on the other hand. This is where her awkwardness gets in the way. She stumbles over her words or freezes up when they start to talk to her. She might say something stupid that makes her looks at her feet and blush. She turns into a giant dork and awkward mess just eventually making an excuse and hurrying off. Though, she is a very talkative person which why she comes across so friendly and welcoming. She finds easy to talk to others and if she is comfortable with you then she will talk your ear off. When she does speak, she is pretty honest person. She doesn't like lieing or anything like that, so she tends to not sugar coat things the best she can. Kyulkyu is sweet and cute to others. She has that natural aegyo that makes people smile and warm inside. She doesn't like it when others sad, so she tries to be the reason that cheers them up by like leave them cute little encouragement notes, leave candy or food for them, or other little things like that. She also has a kind heart. She likes to take care of other and sometimes puts others before herself. She worries a lot about those she cares for and can sometimes worry herself too much.

Kyulkyu is an airheads. She has never been the brightest crayon ever if you know what I mean. She was never good in school and often gets distracted easily though she always tries her best. She isn't stupid so don't count her out, but she's not what you would call smart. Kyulkyu is also very responsible. People know that she won't let them down and they can lean on her. Kyulkyu is often running into things, people, or tripping over her own feet leading her to be clumsy. She is use to it as she has been this way since she was little. She gets distracted by her reading while walking, getting too nosy into other people's businesses' which leads her to run into things or other people. Kyulkyu also has a problem of easily being swayed and falling for tricks. This makes her easy prey for jokes, teasing, and being taken advantage of. She tends to go along with the crowd and says yes to others easily, mainly because even though she attracts other easily - she doesn't like confrontation. She hates fighting and bickering with others - so she tends to back down from it all. She is the one that run away from a fight. Kyulkyu gets frightened pretty easily to say the least. She is a pretty big scaredy cat but still try to tough it up and do it if she has to. She's will probably freak out a few times but she'll get it done no matter how long it takes.

Growing up in Namwon was pretty hard for Kyulkyu, her family never had money nor were they poor though. Her parents always found way to make her happy and provide for her. She was a pretty easy kid to raise as she was taught from a young age to work hard for what you want and not to give up on your dreams. Her parents were dead set on Kyulkyu never having to work in the rice cake shop. She was often taken care of by her grandparents as a child as her parents were always wokring. She started taking care of herself when she got old enough. She also started helping out in the rice cake shop just knowing that her parents needed help and she wasn't going to let them work themselves to death. Her childhood was very loving and good time though it was hard as she had watch her parents give up eating some nights so that she could have a full belly as well as her grandparents. 

When Kyulkyu started school, it was no secret that she was on the poorer side. Her parents always though made sure that she never looked like it even though her clothes were usually handmade and her uniform was usually a little too big as it was usually given to her by someone else in the village that their older sister use to wear which her mom would tailor it to fix Kyulkyu. Kyulkyu actually really liked school as she got to see her bestfriends that she made while going to school. She also liked learning even if she wasn't a good student. She loved the most though was art class. She had always been a good drawer and liked it. Always in school, she was drawing in her notebooks when she didn't understand things or she was doodlling. Even during lunch, she would draw her friends and give them the sketches to them as gifts with cute little encourgement says. Though she was bullied constantly - her friends were always there for her so she treasured her highschool years very much. Sometimes now she wil older she'll lock herself in room for hours just looking through her old journals looking at her drawings, reading her writings of her adventurees with her friends - as those are her best times. 

After highschool, her parents shop took a turn for the worst. It was going under and Kyulkyu gave up her dream of art school and used the money to fix up the shop and pay off the debt just repoening it up as a rice cake shop and cafe. She started to run it and make it profitable again as she took care of her parents and grandmother as her grandfather had died her last year of highschool. Kyulkyu still draws all the time and on the certain days when her mother is maning the shop, she goes into the city to try and sell her art for extra money and also her manhwas that she draws. They are simply just short love stories but every page is handdrawn and colored by her. She returns home late at night, maybe will only get a couple of hours of sleep, and will begin her day all over again just going to work at the shop.
