Was I Too Harsh?

I DELETED IT AND SENT A LONG LONG APOLOGY MESSAGE VIA PM. Problem solved?

I've noticed people here in AFF can be very very sensitive. But last night I read a fic. It was OK, her first, and I decided to comment. I commeneted a lot. I mentioned that I really really liked the fic and can't wait to read more fics by her. But I also kinda corrected words she had misspelled multiple times. And told her to make chapter division. And also suggested to add more adjectives and adverbs so the story will be more interesting. Do you think I was being harsh? Because I don't want to upset her, but she wanted comment and my first fic got only "oooo very good well done" (and like 13 fics later the same people were like "yeah well you lack this this and this")

She might not have seen it yet, should I delete the comment? I don't know if she is sensitive or not and all things I pointed out are true and it will help her to get more readers but then I don't know if she even wants readers. AH SOMEONE HELP ME. I don't know will she appreciate my honesty and advices or does it hurt her feelings.

AND THIS IS WHY I HATE READING. BECAUSE THEN I NEED TO COMMENT. AND I NEVER KNOW WILL THE AUTOR BE HURTED BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW IF SHE IS SENSITIVE.

In case of suggestions, may be you can send it through PM. People are more accepting if you give them tips via PM because in comment section it may sometimes may sound rude / harsh.

I think that you should leave it because in all honesty you were trying to help. I sometimes too read fics with many mistakes and such and see that the story is really good but underrated because of those mistakes. It's sad because many writer's first language here is not English so it's understandable. Still I think that giving support and advice is better than turning a blind eye on it.
You have said it nicely but I've seen really harsh comments and such on fics written with misspelled words.
If you think that she might take it offensively I suggests you should pm her and explain her.
