I decided to reply to michminorities blog with regards to this so on with my answers.... :-) i just hope people will find this worthwhile to read  

 

1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

There's really nothing special about my user name. it was really more for practicality reasons. I just had an email address under the said username so i thought it would be practical to use that for my account here at aff but the term freeverse came from a book i read years ago. it was used by a character in the said book while the number 34 was a combination of my favorite basketball players' jersey numbers back then. Well those basketball players have retired from playing so i guess it kinda gives an idea how long i've been using the said "user name" and most probably my age hehehehe

 

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Love at Risk (special thanks to Jin Woo i guess haha)

 

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

I don't have any picture/thumbnail hehe

 

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I constantly chat with michminorities and wookeybaek via personal message :-)

 

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

When i still had time to reread stories *sigh* (got busier with reality nowadays harhar) i'd say Second Chances by msjongintuan and themarchioness' DOTS related fics 

 

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

40 fics. I haven't had time to browse through and subscribe to new ones *sigh*

 

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

Mostly related to DOTS but I put the characters in other settings that may happen at present. I honestly also have plans of making a sequel to one of my previously written stories but this time other characters will be involved and they're not necessarily from DOTS. In addition, I currently have an ongoing story which is like a crossover of characters from DOTS and Love in the Moonlight. 

 

8. How many friends do you have?

Here at AFF, it's 33 but hopefully there will be more :-)

 

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Something which is closely related to my life though I have a tendency to use the experiences of my friends and other people that I know as inspiration for my stories. I would also like to write something which is not too mainstream, not sure though if there will be people who will read it :-)

 

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Updating regularly like how I do before but i just don't have much time in my hands now.... *another sigh*

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

4 stories, 1 unfinished and ssllllooowwwllllyyy updating it

 

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

errmmmm i use microsoft word for writing is that considered a writing program? if it is i currently have 5 stories saved. i tend to write story/plot ideas popping in my head in my trusty planner :-) 

 

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

i do write it especially if i think it is good. in addition, it helps with unraveling other ideas in the future and honestly i just don't want to forget those ideas hahahaha yep forgettable old me i guess :-)

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Nope but if i would have the time in the future i'd love to co-author one :-) 

 

16. How did you discover AFF?

Hmm i discovered it by accident. I really enjoyed watching DOTS and started researching online for fanfictions written about it. The search result provided AFF and as they say, the rest is history :-) 

 

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Nope as there are far more popular authors :-) 

 

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Nope I'm just grateful that my stories have readers hahaha

 

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Not really as I really wanted to try writing for quite some time now. I've been reading fanfictions even before but I was hesitant to write as I don't have the time.

 

20. How many karma points do you have?

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

1. Don't be hesitant to write. You'll never know if there will be readers of your work if you don't try posting it :-)

2. You can't please everyone, even your own readers. So stick with your idea but also be open to constructive criticism :-)  

3. Just continue writing and you'll notice the improvement at some point. If not you, i'm sure one of your readers will point it out :-)  

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I mostly plot but based from my own experience i have a tendency to change it as I write the story, although the ending is pretty much something that is already "carved in stone" if there are any changes it's just minor ones :-) 

 

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

I don't think it's a bad review/comment but i've written a story which most readers mildly "protested" the ending. I understand them though as it goes to show how some, if not most of them were emotionally invested in the story :-)

 

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Definitely. M rated scenes I'm just not very good at writing it hahahahah

 

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Her Mr. Right? and i have plans of writing a sequel for one my stories (crossing my fingers that I find time to write that one)

 

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Not really. It really depends if a lightbulb turns on my head and an idea for a story comes up :-)

 

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

Not really daily but before I do have like a goal of updating my ongoing story weekly. But now I hardly have time to do it due to a busier schedule *big sigh*

 

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Not sure. Hopefully I did :-) though i've received some comments that my writing has improved from the time I posted my first fic.

 

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Love at Risk because of Jin Woo. Love that kid. How i wish he's real :-)

 

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

None. Though when I reread a story that I've written there are times when I wish I could make some changes but on the other hand it is also a way to reflect on what I could still improve on. 

 

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Still writing here at AFF.

Thinking of "crazy" and fun ideas to write.

Actually writing those ideas :-)

 

35. Why do you write?

Writing alternative endings or sequels to the stories you read about or watch onscreen. Plus it's actually fun to know that there are people who appreciate or enjoy what you think about :-)
