if there's something the people around her can agree on, it's how dorky andrea could be. she's very funny and absolutely loud that amuses everyone since she has such a tiny body. despite debuting, she hasn't changed and continues to be dorky as shown to their variety show appearances cause honestly she doesn't really care about her image. because of her dorky personality, she is able to make friends easily. from idols to the staffs, she's even friends with idols outside the company. how did she do that? her members doesn't even know. she has a lot of charms on and off stage which is why it's not really hard to stan this girl.
honestly, if she wasn't talented, sm would have probably kicked her out of the company. andrea isn't actually the most polite person out there. well, it's not like she's rude or anything. she's just not afraid to say what's on her mind. whether it's her fellow members or her sunbaes, she would straight up tell them her thoughts, not knowing that what she says is offending or makes the atmosphere awkward. apart from her outspoken personality, andrea could be a savage as well. she doesn't even pick any person to do it, nor any place as she also shows her savageness even when the cameras are rolling. though she's not the face of the group, she's very sure that she's the visual and constantly brags about how 'good looking' she is.

andrea lee was born in may 7, 1997 on the canadian city of vancouver. she is the only child to a young painter couple. she grew up with nct's mark and his brother as they are cousins - their fathers are brothers. both of her parents are painters, which explains her love for art when she was younger. andrea has always been a savage even when she was just a little girl, often getting in trouble at school for telling classmates that she doesn't want to play with them because they're too ugly or because their breathe stinks.
when andrea told her parents about her dream of becoming a singer, they were very skeptical, knowing how their daughter was. but then again, she developed her love for music when her father taught her how to play the guitar when she was just ten. when their younger nephew, mark, also expressed her dreams of becoming a singer to the family, they eventually allowed her to audition with a little pursuance from mark's parents as they didn't want their son to be alone when he goes to seoul.

– younger cousin :: mark (17) / idol / personality traits / 10 / actually, both mark and andrea audition at the same time and were luckily accepted in the company. mark is very thankful that andrea came with him because his parents wouldn't let him go to seoul alone to start his training. despite all that, he can't help but be annoyed over her older cousin's constant teasing. one of the many things that andrea does to poor, younger mark is to threaten to release more of his embarassing pre-debut pictures if he doesn't say that andrea is his favorite glory member. andrea also has an endless list of nickname for the younger boy, which are mostly insults. her favorite one is noodlehead - a nickname that she calls him in reference to his iconic curly hair. she just can not let him live after that.
– 96' line :: doyoung, sooyoung and ten (21) / idols / 9 / these four idols have different personalities, but are very close to one another. perhaps it's because they were born in the same year. despite their busy schedules, they find time to hang out with one another. they have a chatroom in which andrea has been blocked/kicked out a lot of times already as she kept on talking and sending a lot of memes, annoying her friends.
– closest sunbae :: heechul (33) / idol / crazy & savage / 9 / his favorite hoobae as heechul would call her, andrea is one of the few people that could talk back and embarrass the older male. because of their similar personalities, it wasn't long for them to get close despite their huge . heechul is very fond of the younger idol to the point that he even jokingly say that he wants to adopt her. andrea would also joke about her sunbae's age, saying that if he was younger, she'd totally marry him but since he's 'very old', she claims that heechul is like a grandpa to her.

– this chicago born cutie has been one of the company's longest trainee ever since he joined the company in 2008. just like how andrea first met him back in 2012, johnny has always been very hardworking and passionate when it came to his dreams. despite him being quiet, he's actually very caring and is helpful towards his fellow trainees.

– just like mark, andrea first met johnny back in 2012 when the cousins first entered sm. it was actually andrea who first talked to the quiet johnny, and because they were both 'foreigners', actually got close very quickly. they tend to speak in english most of the times, until they were scolded at the company because apparently it's offending those who can't speak the language. whatever, andrea thought it was ridiculous.
while andrea was still new around the company, johnny was the one who would tour her around or would explain her things about everything. though it was hard for andrea to follow the rules at first, johnny managed to help out and make andrea calm all the times. how did he manage it? he does even know, honestly. maybe it's because andrea's very thankful to him as he taught her how to rap or mainly because he was her first friend in korea.
as the year pass by, andrea noticed how affected johnny was for not being able to be added to exo. at first he was okay with it. 'maybe it's not yet my time. maybe i still need to be around you.' he'd jokingly say, while andrea would just roll her eyes. but deep down, they both knew that he just really want to debut as soon as possible - and it just showed when he broke down into tears one night when they were having their daily midnight hangout at the company's rooftop. not knowing what to do as it was her first time seeing him like that, andrea just hugged him, assuring him that she will stay with him until the end.
unlike her 'stupid' and 'naive' cousin, andrea knows that she has feelings for the taller boy, and she knows that he has the same feelings as well. the fact that she's the only girl that he cuddles with or that he's the only one that is capable of calming her down just shows how special they are to one another. johnny even lets her rant to him - most of them are just her telling him how pissed she is by the fact that mark doesn't want to call her noona, but then he'd remind her that she doesn't call him oppa so that they're even. when andrea was a hundred percent sure that johnny was into him, it was andrea herself who straight confessed to him. 'hey . i may have fallen in love with you, so you better love me back, okay?' was what she said. though it didn't really sound romantic or cute, johnny was taken aback but as usual, he lets his actions speak than his words so instead of saying anything else, he just kissed the shorter girl.
however, their relationship ended before it could even start when sm announced that johnny, after nine years of training, will finally debut in nct 127. though johnny didn't say anything about 'breaking up', andrea knew that they shouldn't start anything. she was lowkey sad about it, but it was their dream to see him on stage - yes, it's her dream to see him debut, too.
