My THE [email protected] ep 9 review

Seriously, I have so many things to say about The [email protected] episode 9. And this is definitely a positive thing :D but first off, I want to apologize if there are any wrong grammars because I'm definitely not a professional.

First thing, about Suji's falling trust towards Kang Producer.

Lee Suji

To be honest, I was a little worried that Suji would be the Mary Sue character in the story (to be honest, Suji is my bias). But I'm glad that it turns out she also has flaws which are explained more in this episode.

Usually, in stories, the stronger twin will be the main character. But in this drama, it turns out that the main character is the opposite one.

Suah is the stronger/braver one and can't trust people easily.Suji is shy, naive, and trusts people easily because she usually follows her heart.

It will be impossible to expect to keep trusting on Kang producer after being told to that story from the reporter. If she did, that would be another point of Mary Sue character (in my opinion). She's a human who has flaws too.

And it's actually nice to put in that thought when Suji is told that there was someone waiting in the room that Kang Producer reserved for Suah. I bet we all know that is very ambiguous and we all know where will that end to.

Even though it's not confirmed that the story is true, but I'm glad that it is included. Reality is harsh and enterainment is harsh. There will be some things like that in the industry where the girl is forced to do it in return that she can debut or maybe she will get something good.

But I'm glad that in the end Suji decides to keep trusting on Kang Producer because she follows her heart instead of her mind. And CEO Shim Minchul's words are very touching, really.

Now, let's get into the next problem, which is Jane. The youngest one.

I'm not blaming her for wanting to hang out with her friends. She is the only teenager among the other members and is still in puberty. Of course her mind is jumbled and she is also very bold in her opinions too. Let's get into this problem later.

What made me happier and glad is the fact that idolmasterkr included the feelings of the underrated members in groups.

From my opinion, Jane is the underrated member in the group. The member where most people don't really care about (harsh, I know).

Sometimes I'm sad about the underrated members in groups and I'm so happy that idolmasterkr included it! Maybe it's just my opinion and maybe idolmasterkr didn't even think to put this with this opinion, but I'm still touched nevertheless.

Let's all hope that Jane can get more recognition after this :) <3

Now, to the next Jane's problem.

As I said, Jane is a teenager and is going through puberty. Of course she has the need to hang out with friends in that age.

Even though she has friends in the agency, she still needs friends around her age that understands her more.

When she's scribbling or drawing that cup, I became sad as well. I just want to go into the screen and hug her tightly because I really understand her.

Now, let's go to Youngjoo and Jane's conflict.

Youngjoo's a good leader, I know that. But now, she is becoming annoying.

Just like what Sori said, Youngjoo is now different than the old Youngjoo. Because she really wants to win and debut, that's why she doesn't even want to think about the others' opinions and thinks what's best for her team, from her own opinion. Which is wrong.

A leader should lead his/her team, but also listens to every opinions that his/her members say. But Youngjoo doesn't do that and just gives out her opinion, forcing her team members to follow it.

Jane, being the bold and the most honest one, gives out her opinion. She doesn't want to do another cute and girly concept, maybe because she wants another chance for herself to shine.

I'm not saying Youngjoo should follow Jane's opinion and immediately changes the concept, but at least Youngjoo should have listened to her opinion. Maybe she can tweak a little; feminine, but still quite charismatic just like what Jane wants.

But no, Youngjoo keeps pushing her idea and immediately disagrees with Jane's idea without even properly thinking about it. Thinking that she's always right.

Instead, she says that Jane should practice more so the viewers will notice her talent and telling Jane not to blame the concept. Which of course, hurts Jane. Jane is young so it's not a surprise for her to get hurt by Youngjoo's (stabbing) words.

It's nice to see that idolmasterkr is quite realistic and not full of rainbows. Thumbs up to you guys!

Anyways, it's so hilarious at the part where Sori and Jane immediately do the practice once the camera is on theirs. Because that's so relatable.

Also, I'm quite glad that Rookie Team doesn't immediately win the second round. Because it will be quite impossible for them to win because of what happened in the first round in the realistic way. But I'm also happy that at least people notice Rookie Team because they have improved a lot.

I really hope that the review is good enough. I can't wait for episode 10. Idolmasterkr, fighting!
