If you’re asking if it’s because of Samuel and/or Jonghyun (or the other guys who fell victim of Mnet’s evil editing and K-Netz visual obsession)....

Then the answer is yes, yes it is.

Now, I know and am completely aware that people are saying that “the boys in Wanna One deserve it” “they didn’t do so why are you dropping them?” and I completely agree. I love most of the boys in the top 11. Daniel, Jisung, Woojin, Minhyun... even Daehwi just because of his adorable friendship with SomSom. 

I’m happy for them. I really am. They worked hard and they reaped the sweet results. They deserved to be loved and supported.

But honestly, so did Samuel and Nuest. They were so, so talented, so hardworking, and they’ve been through enough already [and I legit DARE y’all to say none of you cried waterfalls watching the things that our National Leader-nim did during the whole duration of the ing show]. Yet you see what happened?

They got dropped. They. Got. Freaking. Dropped.

They’ve had their dreams crushed enough, and they’ll need all the support they can get, especially right now. Just imagine how down they are right now. Just like how all the other 101 boys were when they got eliminated and got one more door shut on their faces.

Wanna One was chosen purely through the “votes” of the K-Netz. So it’s safe to say that these people support them. These people wanted them. In that manner, they were automatically also the ones who dropped the other boys. Explicitly speaking, they were the ones who didn’t want Samuel or Nuest or the others.

But I do.

So I’m going to take on the role that K-Netz had taken for granted and eventually abandoned. I’m going to be the one to buy Samuel’s solo album when it comes out. I’d be the one to stream Nuest songs like crazy. I’m going to be there with the notification squad when each one of the eliminated boys make their debut, down to every damn comeback that they’ll have after that. I’m going to support the out of the boys who didn’t quite receive the justice they deserved, and nobody’s going to make me do otherwise. 

It’s not because I hate Wanna One or refuse to support them. I’m just directing my support to the guys who need my support more. 

Wanna One has K-Netz behind them, while the others.... not so much. In the manner that K-Netz think “losing my ONE vote won’t hurt them. They have the rest of the country to vote for them”, I’m going to say the same. K-Netz chose them, so they need to be the ones to take responsibility. Losing ONE support from an irrelevant international fan isn’t going to affect them anyway, if that’s the way they thought it’d work.

I mean, well, wasn’t that they way it had always been?

Sorry for ranting so much. I really do pray for the best for all our 101 boys, and I’ll be waiting for the day we will get to see them each shine on their own stages, living their own dreams.
