Raven is sly, she manipulates people to get what she wants and control them emotionally to protect her own. She is sadistic, she shows no mercy and enjoys watching her enemy falls. She is very blunt and speaks her mind out and doesn't care about the consequences. She became like that after she found out that her father was only using her and the only way to protect herself from getting hurt was to hurt people first. But then again, she is unpredictable, most people thinks she's easy to read but she is not and she only made everyone thinks that they can read her to lure them into her trap. 

Despite all that, she has a little kindness in her heart that was left; her kindness and loyalty only goes to Nami. She is only kind to the girls and only loyal to Nami, she would go to the end of the earth for her and even betray the girls if she has to protect her. When it comes to her own emotions, she is selfish but she is mature about it; she will never deny anything and she never let her personal emotions gets in the way of her work. She very diligent especially towards the jobs Nami gives her, she would never give up and do anything possible to complete it.

background — Raven was born in Tokyo,Japan in October 8th 1996 to a young actress and a respectful director of a confectionary company, whom later became a politician when Raven was born. Her mother was at the peak of her fame as a new actress but she was pregnant with her by her boyfriend at the time who were 15 years her senior. Raven's mother kept her pregnancy a secret until she was about to give birth, her water broke when Raven's mother was in a middle of an interview and had rushed to the hospital. Her mother tried her best to keep it a secret with the help of her boss. But Raven's father found out and it was a chaos in S. Korea after there was a few rumors about their affairs. But somehow her father was able to hush some medias and respoters with money and her mother was able to convince that Raven was a child of her mother's childhood friend(wich agreed to be the fake father). Her mother was able to continue to act and at the age of 6, Raven clearly remembers seeing her mother work and seeing her on television and wanted to be like her. 8 months later, some popular reporter publish an article about a proof of Raven being S. Korean Politician's daughter and had dna test result as proof. Her mother was panicking and tyring her best to protect Raven and Raven's father whom she was still in love; she sued the reporter for invasion of privacy and false accusation. But that automatically threw her career in the drain,  her fans and both antis turned their backs on her even without any proof. Everyone was blaming her for 'seducing an old rich man' while her father did nothing trying to save his own career.  

When she was 8, her mother lost her case trying to sue the reporter. But the court did not release anything regards the truth about who was her father in order to protect Raven. Her mother fell into a deep depression where she doesn't even want to go out of the house. But Raven always remembers how her mother tries her best to smile for her and she remember that her mother was constantly apologizing. On christmas eve, Raven comes home to her mother not breathing and pills beside her; Raven's mother was pronounced dead by the time they reached hospital. Her mother was overdosed by sleeping pills and pain killers for her head ache. At the funeral, a lot of people came and including her mother's so called 'fans'. The whole city was in mourn and had been putting up videos of her mother, it was a tribute to her mother. But Raven never felt so angry at the world for driving her mother to death and thinks of everyone as hypocrites. Raven pushed away everyone, including her mother's relatives who decided to adopt her for 'money' everyone that she rejects calls her the 'shinigami' a death god; the only person she trust was Nami whom she had been friends since kinder. Raven was sent to an orphanage for 3 months until her real father came to pick her up, he was so nice to her that it scares her. But he brought her to live with him and his son in S. Korea, it was like a dream to Raven. She was happy that she got a real father and a brother who cares more than anyone could've expected until she turned 13 when she accidentally heard father talking to the current mayor. She found out that he took her in out of charity and to show that he has a kind heart to adopt the daughter of the who tried to seduce him. Which was not true and she felt so betrayed and threatened her own father. But her father knew that she loves her father too much to destroy him, so she made a deal that she lives apart from him and she gets whatever and can do whatever she wants if he doesn't want her to reveal the truth, and she would be a fake charming adopted daughter and trick people into thinking her father will be a great future mayor and them giving him support by every means(illegal funds,mafia protections,illegal votes). That was when she started using her talent that she inherits from her mother to con people for her father in return for freedom. But when she was 15, she reunited with her childhood friend when she was in elementary school; Nami came to her after a lot of digging and hearing rumors. Nami offered her a job,friendship and most important, loyalty. Knowing Nami since childhood she put her trust in her and that's how she joined the Red Lily.
