help me bc i need to drive tomorrow and i'm legitimately panicking

alright so i'm actually getting behind the wheel (of a car) tomorrow morning and i am legitimately terrified. as in, terrified. i don't think i've been this scared in a long time.

and the instructor of this driving class hasn't taught us anything and my mom said that she's not taking me anywhere unless our driving teachers take us out first.

so tomorrow is going to be the first day i'm in the driver's seat operating a car and i really need help, like:

is there anything that you found was difficult to do or something that you frequently forgot to do that you could so helpfully impart to me so i can avoid damaging property?

and any additional tips would be greatly appreciated as well

a huge thank you to anyone who decides to help

omg DUDE don't even worry about it . the first time i drove (w/ driving instructor, parents were like "just drive with him first!!" too) i was SO bad LMFAO but like i survived, and the instructor will only take u on backroads. i had HUGE driving anxiety too but like one day i just said " it" and was like "idc if i fail i'm just going to drive lol" and i ended up getting rid of my paranoia. in the same way as you practice more and more youll feel 2039402394023493 times better every time. youre going to in do awesome dont worry baout it

I started driving 2 weeks ago and the hardest thing I've found so far is setting off like once you get the hang of it it's easy but it's sometimes difficult when you are paying attention to the other cars

Always make sure to drive a car doors length away from any Parker cars on the path

I believe in you !!! Good luck make sure to tell us how it goes!!

if you're using the car from driver's ed, the front passenger seat will have an emergency brake so if you do somehow mess up like, not stopping at the right time, the instructor can pull the brake and stop the car.
also, as long as you studied the basics such as yielding when turning left, waiting for cars to turn right on a red light, smog (signal, mirror, over the shoulder, go), etc. then you're pretty much good to go.
have faith in yourself! you'll do fine.
