ok so i know we don't know the exact time haechan was born (thank god or else that would be very weird) but it's 12:00 am in south korea rn, june 6 2017, so you know what that means, it's haechan's birthday!!
 

(y'all can skip this part if you want, it's just kinda me talking about stuff)

to be honest, i didn't really notice him in firetruck (even though i turn up to his lines every time now). he really caught my eye first in chewing gum bc of his first solo shot in the music video. i remember quite distinctly that i thought "wow he's just... wow" so of course my eyes were pretty much glued on him the entire time (okAy so maybe jaemin stole my attention when his part came up but shhh) and that is now i noticed lee donghyuck. then limitless came out and he surprised me aGAIN bc when does he not?? his all red outfit was actually very cute and he killed his lines but of course i was very ANGRY that he was basically ignored in that comeback but then he came back again (poor child, i really hope he gets to rest a lot today) with the dreamies with my first and last. and let me tell you, he stole the show. i kid you not, the child shined brighter than a diamond. everything was on point. he is special and one of a kind and sm is lucky they have him because he is going to make it big and we are all going to support him. donghyuck is amazing and i cannot believe he is going to be seventeen already. i know he's going to continue setting the world on fire with his team and nct will take the world by storm because they have so many unique individuals and talents and personalities.

happy seventeenth to lee donghyuck aka haechan, aka our beautiful, talented, hardworking, and precious bean in both nct 127 and nct dream. he's worked so hard since debuting and we could not be more proud of him. he's grown so much already and we absolutely cannot wait to see how much more his vocals and dance and visual (hae is a visual don't fight me on this) mature and grow and slay us all. even though the hyungs might be scared of you, we love your devilish ways. but also never forget that you have so so many people supporting you, including your team members, so it's alright if you need to cry. we know you are already so strong and again we and all (like twenty) members of nct as well as your parents and sm staff are so proud of you. may haechan have a wonderful and prosperous birthday today and have nothing but the best from here on out! cheers!
