Author Questions

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

I honestly have no clue. I think it's because I never sleep if I'm honest so I wanted a name that would fit my personality which is not sleeping.

2. Which is your most subscribed to, story?

I think it's The Boyfriend Project but The Accidental Husband is catching up.

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Have you seen Min Yoongi? That's all I have to say.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

Idon't exactly have a bestie but I talk to really cool people like: epistolie, HeavyRxyne, Min-Y00ngi,dilylc, Kokonerana, JiminnieBenBen, bubble1765, shanamj and rumourhasit12... But then I also have the people that frequently comment who I love talking to! YOU'RE NOT FORGOTTEN MY DARLINGS.

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Not really, I always look out for new things to read and forget what I'm subcribed to. I tend to go back to the same author's though if that's a thing, is it a thing?

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

I don't know it. I think in all honesty I'm subscribed to a lot but it's not any certain ship. If a story looks and sounds good then I'll read it, I suppose.

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

I tend to write a lot of angst stuff. It's not hard-core ansgt but that's what I tend to write. I want to write more fluff and explore more AU's with my own plot twists.

8. How many friends do you have?

I have 217 of which I hardly speak to on here.

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

I think I'd like to write more stuff that haven't really been written yet. I tend to stray away from cliches or pick a cliche and make it work for my story without it being an obvious cliche. I also want to write an extremely sad, ansgty Yoonmin story one day where there isn't a happy ending.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Um, I think for me it would be writing a plot and sticking to it. I can lose my mus for a story so quickly that different ideas will flow that don't exctly fit the concept so I end up abandoning the story for months on end. It's a ty thing to do and I wish that I didn't have that habit so I guess it comes under updating frequently?

11. How many subscribers do you have?

I have a total of 8472 and growning, thanks guys!

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

Quite a lot if I'm honest. I tend to have ideas and then abandon them within like a week or something so I'd say quite a lot.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

Again, quite a lot. I think that sometimes I forget that I have stories saved on here that haven't been published. I have a weird way of working with things and I've yet to actually organize myself.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I write them down, always. I write down ideas and if I think it has more potential then I write out a plan and I make sure to always have that plan handy when I start writing so I know what I'm doing.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Yes I have. The Accidental Husband has a co-author simply for the chapter and I love JiminnieBenBen's writing so much that when she offered to write it for me I couldn't refuse! It was a really nice gesture and I truly appreciate it. I had a story co-authored with my friend AbsentDxy who currently is too busy to write so we scrapped the co-author tag and we will plan another story together in the future.

16. How did you discover AFF?

I have honestly no clue. I think I was looking up ships and then this happened.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Not really, I feel like the term popular and famous are over-used these days. I'd say that with Yoonmin I'm well-known, not in the sense of being popular or famous but those who frequently look at Yoonmin tend to click on my stories and either recognise the writing, author name or my nickname which is nice and refreshing, I've always enjoyed it and I hope that it continues as we grow together.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Not really but I have a habit of calling people darling, should that be it?

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

I honestly don't think there is. I tend to do things on my own and struggle on my own but when I feel down and I say it in my author's notes for stories the response I get is unbelievable so in I way I'd say my commentors are what inspire me to continue as well as the silent subcribers who go out of their way to comment as well, I find that really touching.

20. How many karma points do you have?

Currently, I have 12,047 Karma Points. What the hell can I use these for?

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Always be proud of what you write and never falter. Do not allow certain commentors to kick you down or make you lose interest in the theme that you're exploring. Always remember that you're new and beginning and you'll have plenty of time to grow. It doesn't happen magically, being a good writer always takes long practice. Never stray from what you want for the story even if someone's idea is better than yours, always stick with it and ing sell it. I believe in you!

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I have recently began plotting out stories like I said in a previous answer that I can easily lose my muse or stray away within a week so if I invest myself into the story then I know what's going to happen and I can't lose interest so quickly.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Of course, yes. I think I have only ever recieved one. I am all for constructive critisim but bashing me is another thing. I was very polite but then became a because no one dares to tell me that I am not grateful for my subcribers okay? I am known for not ing around so please don't try and even attempt it with me. Don't bash me, don't come at me and don't dare claim something of me which isn't true and then we won't have problems.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

ING . I HATE IT SO MUCH. AH!

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Um, I am currently working on Under The Moon, Shame, Maid For You and Of Cuffs and Guns... I am working on new projects also which will be released very soon!

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

I tend to do both. I plan future projects but also work on my current stories.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

No, I have never set a goal. I write to make myself happy so whatever I achieve that encourages people's views and opinions or gives readers a certain type of emotion then I'm happy.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Yes, I have grown very much so I often cringe when I look back at what my wrting was. I don't think my style has changed whatsoever, my writing style has always been the same; a chaotic mess but my ideas have often changed and moulded into something new and more grown. I think the more you grown then the more your ideas shift and change. It's all about growing and practising.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

I have only one favourite and that's Underworld Neighbours. I think, out of all the stories so far this is the best plot that I have written. I love the setting, the characters and the plot twists that are fired in. I loved how all my characters connected in some way and still do connect in the Sequel. It's my favourite story and I don't think it'll change. It used to be The Boyfriend Project simply because of the Vmin friendship, Yoonseok friendship and the Yooonmin dynamic I had going on.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

The Accidental Husband. It was my first ever Yoonmin story and it . I have too many mistakes, too many plot holes and too many undeveloped characters but I plan to go back and re-vamp it when I have the time.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

I see myself as a writer still. I don't really see myselg growing or publishing because this is a hobby. It was never a set goal or job for me in a sense. I think that I'd have to more realistic because fanfiction and actual novels are two completely different things.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

I only have 255 but hopefully it will grow as time goes on.

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

I don't think writing is easy whatsoever. It's hard to plan out stuff, set out goals and achieve them but if I were to say then the easiest thing about writing is probably the pairing. I think once you have the pairing then the plot kind of moulds around them, don't you think?

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

The majority of it is hard and if you don't plan on sticking with writing as a career or a general hobby then I wouldn't write. It's hard when you have people relying on you for an update, so used to updating that when you don't then they get rather pissy. It's hard to write when you have people demanding for so much and not allowing you the general freedom as a writer. There are some people who think that they own you and your stories but they don't.

35. Why do you write?

Writing has always been an escape, an open dorr where I can poor out my emotions from them. I enjoy writing because my characters always have a part of me within them. I always explore emotions, try and tackle different subjects that have yet to be properly explored. I think writing for me is the friend that I never had growing up, being there for me and supporting me through it all.

36. Any last words?

Don't ever allow someone to control your writing. Always have the courage to write, write and write! I believe in you!
