► Soojin was fun, easy-going and loves to fool around. She is the believer of 'rules are made to be broken' thing. She never really follow any rules in her life except she must to. Soojin is friendly to a lot of people and has a broad-knowledge about things. If you ask any question, she would quickly answer it because she knows the right answer. Soojin loves fooling around, but not pranking. She just loves throwing jokes and her punch lines. Sometimes she would laughs at her own imagination so you could say she's a 4D. Her imagination is beyond anyone's imagination. Soojin also a hard-working person because she will never give up on anything. Her hard-working will shows the first time you meet her, she even won't give up on math problems which she actually hates till death. She's very honest and loyal except if someone betrays her, she won't trust that person anymore.Although she is quite friendly, she loves her own me-time. She likes to spend her time alone during gloomy weather or rainy weather. Reading books and writing are her hobbies that you can't imagine. People who just know her won't believe is you tell them she loves to read especially reading english literature books and others. She does look like someone with empty-head because of her playful traits but actually she's very intellegent. Sometimes she's moody so you also should becareful with her.

Her hard-working traits creates a negative trait for her which perfectionist. She won't stop until she thinks it's perfect, that's how she got her OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). You won't find any mess or dust in her room. This is another hidden trait of her, people who just know her would think she's your typical messy-funny-witty person which she's not. She's very serious when it comes to working and practicing but after the training sessions ended she would play around again. Her seriousness in practicing also makes her become strict. People would thought she has two different personalities because of this too. Sometimes she would be sarcastic when she hears people asking some retorical questions especially when she's in her mood-swings. Her sarcasm is beyond your level of sarcasm, the first sentence that would came out from is 'what the hell'. Her honesty also could brings out her sarcasm, for example someone asks her 'what do you think about this dress?', if she think it doesn't that person she would answer 'Well if you're asking for diplomatic answer it would be yes but honestly, no. That's , I mean, you're with that dress'. Her believe in the 'rules are made to be broken' also creates her rebel personality, she would break the law and would never think she's in fault, she would give out rational explaination. You could say, she's clever enough to keep herself out of trouble.

 

► Soojin was born as Jin Soojin in Pyeongchang-dong, Seoul, South Korea. Soojin was born to the CEO of Standard Charter Korea, Jin Janghyuk. Her mother is the main designer for a jewelery brand J.Estina, her name is Son Mihye. She is the oldest of two and has a younger brother who is two years younger than her. Her brother was born in 1997 and is now a junior in Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, his name is Jin Woojin. Woojin inherited his sister's rebelness so he was sent to Eton College at the age of 13. Soojin lives in the affluent neighborhood for years before moved to Switzerland for studying.

Soojin attended Cheongdam Elementary School and a bright student during her school years. Not only genius, she also a rebel but not a lot of teacher told her off because she didn't have any problem with her scores. Soojin was a top student and even participated in the national science olympic, placed first. Her rebelness was shown ever since she was a little but her rebelness started to wrosen as she skipped school to go to the arcade with her friends when she was in fourth grade, she and her friends were reprimanded by the teachers but her parents decided  to let her as it was her first skipping-thingy. Her parents' patience ran out when she skipped the school to go to Hongdae and watch movies with her friends when she was in fifth grade. They decided to sent her to a boarding school, not in the States or England but to St.George's International School, a boarding school located in the residential suburb of Clarens, near Montreux, overlooking Lac Leman and the Alps, Switzerland. Soojin didn't like their decision but just got along with it.

She moved after she finished her fifth grade to started year 7 in St.George's. She attended the school until she gradated from year 9. In that school, she met a lot of people from all around the world. She also learns French as her second language class. Soojin was also on of the top student back then. Yij learned tennis the first time in that school and eventually fell in love with that sport. She also plays piano and the main pianist for the school's orchestra. Ij senior school, she learned golf and also joined the club as she loved th sport just like tennis. She was the school council's president for three years consecutive years. Soojin loves being with her friends from different countries and hardly ever skipped class. Soojin met her-now-best friend Anna Keen who came from New York, they both had the same history on why they were sent to St.George as a boarding student. Anna is the one who introduces her to Eminem's music. Soojin started listening to his music and started to listening to hip-hop music. She also met her-alo-current best friend Kang Haneul who loves Tiger JK and Yoon Mirae's music. The three of them became best friends since the first time they met.

Soojin graduated from St.George's International School as a valedictorian and went back to South Korea in 2010. They sent her overseas and let her back only to send her to Seoul Foreign School, Although she stopped all her 'rebel-symptopms', her parents didn't let her to entered Sunhwa Arts School. She made a promise with her parents, if she managed to get 1st place on her first year without any events (such as running away or skipping), they would let her to do any audition in any entertainment company. So they agreed and Soojin showed them that she has changed. She came first on her first year in SFS and eventually went for an audition to YG Entertainment, a company that for her clearly support hip hop and rappers to become an idol. She performed her song 'Getting 'Em' that she wrote by herself, she passed the audition in one try and became a YG trainee started in 2011. She trained in rapping and songwriting, helps her to develops her musically. Since the first announcement among YG trainees that the companies are debuting a girlgoup, Soojin became more competitive than ever. She works hard and secured a position in top 10 of the candidates but eventually dropped and the chosen original line up are the trainees that shown in Future 2NE1 video. She was shown sitting on the side in the video (next to Eunbi). As the time goes by, Soojin developed her skills and even trained personally by Teddy to wrote songs. She gradated from high school in 2013 and take a degree in SNU, Department of Political Science and International Relations, major in International Relations oo behalf of her parents' wish. In 2014 she was given the opportunity to co-arrange the song 'If I Were You' with CL She was praised a lot and she began to gain her confidence. She even recognized by Dok2 and The Quiett after they heard her rap during a session when they came over to YG to work with Bobby for her final song on SMTM3. The Quiett personally gave her his umber and said "Incase you're interested with Illionaire" while laughing. Soojin is familiar with Illionaire Records' Dok2 and The Quiett, the two gave her a lot of advices on how to represent her flow and lyrics to the audience.

When Moon Sooah, a fellow YG trainee was chosen to got to Unpretty Rapstar among several other trainees including Soojin. Soojin started feeling uneasy and finally decided to left YG on November 2014 because she thought that they won't debut any girlgroup soon and she was almost 20. She spent 3 years as a trainee in YG. She decided to focus more on her study but then she was contacted by The Quiett who said he heard about her leaving YG. He said that there's a friend of him who wants to meet her and work on something. Soojin went to meet him and introduced to Crucial Star, a rapper that she personally look up too. Crucial Star said that he had heard her rap 'Getting 'em' that somehow The Quiett recorded when they heard the song at YG. Then Crucial Star asked her if she wanted to work together on a song which Soojin quickly agreed to. They made a song called 'Wipe Out' and released as a mixtape under the name Queen feat.Crucial Star. She had another song called 'Mad Thing' and even went to some events together with several underground rapper. She started to made a name for herself as a female rapper.

In early 2016, she heard a company called 'Muse Entertainment' who is looking for trainee and she decided to give it a try after reading that  the company is supporting woman-power with all the staff being female, she thought that she'll have a bigger chance in Muse. So she decided to took an audition on January 2016 and got accepted right away. She joined the company as a rapper and trained in both rapping and writing song. She graduated from Seoul National University on February 2017.

Her father is quite strict especially if it's involve business or works. He rarely spends time at home but he and Soojin have this relationship that not a lot of father and daughter have. Her father wants the best for her and actually supports anything that she wants to do but after seeing she skipped the class and all in such a young-age. He knows that Soojin could do a lot of worse things in the future if he didn't stop her so he came up with the broading school idea. He constantly calls her during weekend and insisted that she should attended regular college, not art because he didn't want her to wandering around like a failed-artist. He doesn't pamper her but more like shows her the reality of life, he would only give her what she wants if she proves it that she really wants it.

Woojin and Soojin are very close. Although they have two years difference but they act like a twins and he even inherited her rebel trait. Woojin is taller than Soojin and very attractive that sometimes when he came to visit Soojin in her university, her friends thought that he is her boyfriend. Haneul is the daughter of Hanhwa Group's CEO and Chairman, she was sent to St.George because of the same reason as Soojin. Haneul was enrolled in Seoul Banpo Elementary School and was sent to St.George at the same time with Soojin. They became friends and she is the one who introduces Soojin to korean hip hop world. Haneul is a moth older than Soojin but way more immature than Soojin. Haneul loves to annoy Soojin while she was studying and the one who would drag Soojin to Hongdae during weekend.

► Sister from another country / Anna Keen / 22 / Yale School of Engeineering and Applied Science, majored in Biomedical Engineering student / fun, quite ambitious, strong, and very mature

Anna met Soojin and Haneul during their first year in, she is a daughter of doctor-studded family and was sent to the school to follow her brothers' step. Anna doesn't fancy being the attention as all of her family graduated from St.George. Anna loves listening to various hip hop and rapper songs. Anna visits Korea every winter and spends time with Soojin and Haneul, they speak English mostly. Anna was the one who would encourage both Soojin and Haneul to study as the both of them quite lazy to study although they're smart. Anna was the salutatorian from St.George while Soojin was the valedictorian.

Jennie is one year senior at YG but a yeard younger than Soojin. They both are the most rated and acknowledge trainees by trainers at YG. Jennie is a great rapper and vocalist, they both also trained in writing song. Jennie has this weird 4D personality that made Soojin close with her. They both loved hanging out in the practice room after training. Jennie still talking to Soojin, they would seen hanging out together when she doesn't have any schedule.

► Brother-like friend / Song Minho (Mino) / 24 / WINNER's member / fun, easy-going, witty, and quite a rebel

Mino entered the company two years after Soojin became a trainee at YG. Mino is talented and just like her, the two of them trained in writing songs. Minho is her first best guy friend. Mino looks at her as her sister and Soojin also care for him like a brother. Mino supports her decision when she said she wanted to leave YG. He still loves hanging out with her. Soojin is the first one who listened to 'I'm Him' and 'Really Really'.

► Mentor and senior / The Quiett / 32 / rapper and producer / quiet, nice, caring, and fun to be with

The Quiett has been her mentor, they still contacting each other. He plays a big role in Soojin's growth musically. He helped her a lot and a mentor in writing after she left YG. The Quiett also become the one who introducd her to a lot of people on the rapping scene including Crucial Star and Beenzino. 

► My annoying brother / Byun Baekhyun / 25 / EXO's member / witty, fun, and can't be serious even for once

Haneul introduced Soojin to the EXO members back in 2014 during their first tour where Soojin was given a free ticket from Haneul. Baekhyun is some-what Haneul's some-friend. They ang out a lot together, Soojin also grow closer with him. Baekhyun think that Soojin was quite funny but charming at the same time, he thinks of her as his sister that he never could has. Baekhyun doesn't understand how she was a valedictorian because he can't see any 'intellegent' aura from her. 

► Senior dongsaeng / Bae Eunjoo / 18 / trainee at Muse Ent. / adventurous, lively, stubborn, and impulsive

When first Soojin entered the company, Eunjoo is already a trainee for three years. Although she is younger than Soojin, EUnjoo helps her a lot and make friends with her. Eunjoo make the move first because she thinks that Soojin is cool while rapping, her first sentence was "You're a great rapper, I'm EUnjoo and you?". They became an instant bestie right away. For Soojin, she is like a younger sister that she never get to has.
