CJ is a very talkative person. She's often found talking with a random stranger. That's why she has many friends. She's a good friend. You can always depend on her, especially when you're feeling down. She gives good advices to her friends. She always knows what to do or what to advise people when something bad happened. Family Background:

She grew up in a small, simple family. She's the only child her parents have. She doesn't have a good family background - she grew up as a part of the low-income families. But her parents tried hard to make her finish her studies. When she turned 14, her parents had a little fight. And after CJ finished her high school, her parents broke up. She's now with her mom, since her dad already has a new family. She and her mom moved from Gwangju to Seoul and entered one of the most prestigous universities there. Pre-debut History:

She's not that interested in entering big companies like SM, JYP and YG. It never crossed her mind that she'll be a trainee in one of those entertainment companies. But because of her family's needs, she was forced to join a singing contest where you have to record your singing and post it online. Fortunately, she won the first place and got the prize. And Cho PD discovered her.
