Author // Reader Tag (tagging anyone who wants to do it :3)

As a Writer

Things I like...

  1. When readers enjoy my story and comment about it
  2. When readers get worked up (in a good way) because of my stories
  3. When readers see that one detail i addeI for suspense for later chapters
  4.  Supportive readers
  5. Talkative readers

Things I dislike...

  1.  "please update" ok so like this annoys me in two ways, like can't it be like "Can't wait for your next update"? Like it kinda feels like I'm being rushed and I hate that. Plus I want to hear more than just a measly "Please update".
  2. "I ship ____" I understand if it's a love triangle story and stuff but if it's strictly for one ship (that you don't ship) then like, it gets annoying.
  3. Getting writer's block
  4. Unsubs...
  5. I also hate it when readers judge your story too soon... like come on, it's only the first chapter...

As a Reader

Things I like...

  1. Authors who reply
  2. Authors who leave cute lil notes at the end of each chapter
  3. Well written angst stories (gotta love them angst)
  4. Stories that hit me emotionally (and leave an impact)
  5. Cute fluffy stories.

Things I dislike...

  1. When a story with great potential turns out to be trash later on
  2. Mary sue characters...
  3. Stories that have unnecessary fillers
  4. Deus ex Machina (like srsly... it's kinda stupid at times... not all the time but some of those times make me mad...)
  5. "Person A: _____. I hate it when people write like this... like yeah, it could be good but like omg... I can take grammar and punctuation errors but idk... this just gets to me.
