Questions for Authors (Tagged by DGNA_Forever)

Thank you so much for the tag ♥ Took me a while but i had fun with it ^^

1. How did you come up with your user name and what does it mean?

I wanted something special that resembles my favorites but doesn’t have their name in it. ‘Dino’ stands for Dongwoo, while I got ‘leader’ after Sunggyu and Dongwoo’s saying in SP that when Gyu is not around, he becomes the leader.

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Fanwar

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

Because I’m still weak for that vlive.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I’m not sure, I have a few really good friends here ^^

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Yes, a vixx vampau on lj/ao3 and a Woogyu oneshot called If we fall.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

366, I’m quite picky haha

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

I think supernatural? I’m not sure, but whatever au I write, it will always be angst.

8. How many friends do you have?

254 so far

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

Nope, since I write mostly for myself, I don’t really care if people will judge me.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on aff? Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

Updating regularly and writing better..

11. How many subscribers do you have?

2000+ and I’m grateful to all of them for sticking with me and my awful updating schedule.

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

10~ not much but they are all chaptered

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

Um… around 70…

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I write them all down if I’m serious about them.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

I currently do but it’s not posted yet.

16. How did you discover AFF?

Honestly, I don’t remember, it was too long ago haha.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

Nope, not even close.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Nope.

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

Not really, there were a few people who encouraged me, but there was no one here who inspired me.

20. How many karma points do you have?

I don’t really care about karma points, but more than enough.

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Write for yourself, always proofread, forget about writer’s block, just write down the first thing that comes to your mind and you can always edit it later, be creative and be loyal to your work, never give up.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I plot them out most of the time, but sometimes I end up ignoring the original plot and come up with something new randomly.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Kind of, it wasn’t really a bad comment, just rude, but I didn’t think too much about it.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

FLUFF. I’m horrible at describing gentle gestures and stuff.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

Ugh too much to mention. All my ongoing Infinite stories + a chaptered vixx and bangtan story + oneshots for my friends’ bdays.

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Yes and that’s one of my worst habits. I tend to plan more and more stories before finishing one.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

I kind of have, but I never make it….

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Definitely.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

Hymn for the missing

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

I think it’s Fanwar (how ironic that that’s my most famous story)

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Nothing would change. Still writing for fun, still in updating.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

Enough to make me proud.

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Plotting.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Get the facts right, research and describe scenes and actions properly.

35. Why do you write?

Simply because I love writing.

I loved your answers, especially the ones about genre and updating. I also love writing angst and supernatural, and have a hard time with fluff (I don't have any happy stories going right now...) I think we are ALL having a hard time writing updating recently, so hopefully you will find your groove and get back to it! Good luck!
