idk....[reflection post]
I'm so conflicted rn?
So bascially...after my 'blowup' rant about how I was unstanning BTS because of a million different reasons bothering me, I've just been really disorganized.
It's been a growth period for me, personally, and just like in general a new experience.
I 'discovered' kpop and a really unconventional way and this is like discovering it again in a much more conventional way.
I looked through like 27 different kpop groups and found new biases and new groups and figured out that I'm kinda an FNC stan.
I breathed life back into my Tumblr.
....and now i dont know what to do about my 200+ subscriptions to BTS authors and stories, my abundance of reposts of BTS gifs and photos, and just everything left over.
It's like the aftermath of a bomb.
I've also gotten a chance to see how big BTS actually is, objectively. They're huge, in the weirdest way. They're definitely up there in the 'most popular kpop groups of 2017' list but they oddly don't do much in Korea, especially cause, speaking relatively, their korean fanbase seems a lot smaller than their international fanbase. (BTS, for a KPOP GROUP, has a surprising number of international fans compared to how many domestic.
It's weird...
Especially since I havent really completely stopped having Hope as a very very lowkey bias... (I appreciate him on tumblr, but you won't see me watch videos or write or do much of anything).
(also, seriously annoying part of army manages to find its way everywhere- 'bts is better than every kpop group' 'bts would have done this better' 'jungkook raps better than (AoA's) jimin' 'any armys here?'. guys, this has nothing to do with bts. some people are actually here for the video, and do not appreciate your comment. (bts/army could be switched out for any group and fanbase that does this.)
idk
(also, if anyone wants to recommend a good monsta x song? i listened to one of their albums by accident and it was surprisingly good)
