PRESSED, SHOKE, AND CRYING ALL IN ONE!

I know I'm late on the subject as the first episode of Produce 101 Season Two has already aired, but I can't keep my pain in any longer.

Before I start my rant, I want to let everyone know that I didn't watch Produce 101 Season One as I can't stomach survival shows as my favorite people always lose, or are treated unfairly after/before debut (if they get the chance to) but I know how they work as I have learned from WIN: Whose Is Next, Mix and Match, dob, and so on. But even though I didn't care enough to watch the first season I am not going to talk about anything that has happened in the first season as my focus is directly on the second, or should I say the Idols in this season.

The first Idol group I found out about was Nu'est, so they are going to be the first topic I speak on, and I would first like to say PLEDIS! How dare you treat them like that and then wonder why they aren't doing so well? Then you have the nerve to call them "flops" after a very succesful debut that racked you guys in a lot of money and trainees that you probably didn't even have! Don't get me wrong I love the groups that come out of Pledis , such as Orange Caramel, Kahi (I know she's solo and not with the company anymore but I'm going to prove a point with this), After School, and Seventeen; but Pledis is acting as if majority of the blame lies on the idols and not them. Yes, we as L.O.Λ.E!'s could do a better job supporting them as with each new songs the fan base increases then decreases before going constant, but how can we do that if Pledis never gives us a chance?! They manage these boys as if they are a bunch of toys that they can just do whatever with and have no respect for them as idols or the fans that support them. I, as an international fan, have been with Nu'est since FACE, and I have continued to stand by them until this point and I won't leave until they disband; and even then I'll continue to support them in whatever they choose to do. But as I watched their promotional interviews, stage, and the comments that the other rookies had it literally brought tears to my eyes. Yes, they have debuted; Yes, they have just turned 5 years old; and, Yes, Seventeen is doing better than they are, but what the does it matter?

Do you think they were just sitting around for 5 years waiting for this stupid survival show? No! They have been working their asses off in Japan and China as they haven't been able to promote properly in Korea, but is this stopping them from making a name for theirselves? No! They are pushing through this like all the other idol groups that decided to send a memeber on there, and they will prosper, as they should. It was hard to see how desperate they were acting, and then to top it off they slayyyyyyyed that ing performance and Baekho wasn't even in all that good of a condition. I know it would seem bias to give them a high ranking as they have already debuted, but to place Minhyun in Grade C and the rest in D it makes no sense to me. And, Yes, Baekho's voice did crack but his voice will never been the same anyway especially after getting surgery on his vocal cords last year (which ultimately cut their promotions short, but then again they were already cut short enough), so what?! Big ing deal! Do you know how many idols can't sing worth and their groups is popular as because of that person's good looks or whatever the the case maybe, but to see him be put down because of that makes me angry.

I'm done with my rant on Nu'est, for the moment, but if they disband after all this I'm seriously going to reconsider staying in K-pop. So, please support Nu'est as they feel that this is their last chance and I really don't want it to be.

Now the second Idol group I heard of was my boys TOPPDOGG, now I know only A-tom is particpating but I knew this was ing coming and as I said to Pledis, HUNUS! They are the worst when it comes to Idol group management, even when everyone was shouting Stardom at the beginning of their songs (which all were lit af) they still were trash at managing. I don't know how they didn't learn from the lawsuit with Block B, but it seems that they will never learn. When TOPPDOGG first debuted I can consider myself one of their biggest ing fans, which I still am, and as I was pulled in with all the Super Junior comparison as they were called the "Hip-Hop Version of Super Junior", and whatnot but as song after song continued to come out they never disappointed me and I am thankful for that. Even without proper management, and promotions, they still managed to get in the hearts of people who call themselves ToppKlass, which I am also a part of. It really saddens me to see that they can never be at peace for once as it is always this or ing that!

Memebers have been leaving the group left and right, and even when Gohn left for military service I expected him to come back, but no he decided that he didn't want to be an idol anymore. Not like I'm blaming him, but I was really disappointed as he was one of my favs. Then Kidoh, Jenissi, and even Seogoong, who left the group first; and as they started out with 12 they are now down to 9 members, and I feel that if A-tom doesn't do well then he is out of the group as well and it won't be on his own accord. I have stuck by them as I have done with Nu'est and to see that 3 WHOLE ING YEARS, plus his trainee time has sent him back to be a trainee hurts me just a much as it does with Nu'est. At first they kept calling him by his real name and I thought it was someone totally different, but as his face popped up on my phone I to say I was PRESSED AS ; because I was already all SHOOK with Nu'est and then to see A-tom it felt like I had entered my dark ages again. I was back on the verge of tears, and I have only seen his promotional clips so far, and nothing was helping the knot that seemed to get bigger and bigger in my stomach. I hope he can go back to TOPP DOGG after all of this is over and they drop another album, because it will break my ing spirit if he leaves that group. I just can't take the blantant disrepect that HUNUS is putting upon this group and ToppKlass. Try again, HUNUS!

As with Nu'est, please support A-Tom and TOPPDOGG, as they are probably sick and tired of working their asses off and getting nothing in return.

Finally, I can't leave out JJCC, the member participating is Sancheong, who is the Maknae (who can do a full on split as if he has nothing between his legs); and to be honest after Prince Mak left the group because of his injury I haven't heard much about the group since. They've added two new members, before Mak left, and now I'm completely clueless to this whole situation with them. After seeing his video I had to do my research, and from what I found out they haven't disbanded and are [or were] doing promotions in Japan almost 5-6 months ago. Which made me sigh in relief but as I went to look at their video for their Japan Comeback I couldn't help but notice how the views went from a million to half of that, which did nothing to ease my already tore up spirit and mind.

I first got into the group as Jackie Chan is one of my favorite actors of all time as I grew up watching him and to hear that he was making a K-pop group got me excited as ! When they debuted in 2014, along with some other groups that I really care for, I fell in love with "At First", but hearing Prince Mak's voice but not seeing him did confuse me but when I later saw him everything seemed to fall in place. I couldn't believe how well of a group the vocals and everything fit together, and I truly thought to myself that this group was destined for great things and to see Sancheong sitting in that sit having an interview completely changed my view. Yes, they haven't been promoting but their songs have always played when I shuffle my 300+ playlist of K-pop songs that I can never finish no matter how many times I try but their songs always manage to play no matter what. I used to wait for their comebacks as I wanted to see what they would do next and it just continued to get better, and I wish that it will get better for them once more.

So, as with TOPPDOGG and Nu'est, please support Sancheong the youngest member of JJCC as well.

I know as an international fan I can't really do much these days as the broadcasting stations only take Korean votes, and such; but even as an international fan, we [me inculded] can watch their videos hundreds of thousands of times and buy their merch, and support them as if their is no ing tomorrow. But to do that we must spot focusing on the ones who made it and start focusing on the underdogs, because if you can divide the attention you give to your favorite group and give at least a 4th of that support to one of the many underdog groups on the brink of disbandment it could really change these group for the better. So, stop all your stalking on a big name and stalk a little bit on a unknown, or not as known, name.

Now, I know there are other idol group members on there that have debuted and then the band disbanded right after or whatever the case may be, but as I do not know them all that well I cannot speak my frustrations out on their situations. I hope the companies do better by them; I hope they promote more and, I really wish that they can all go back to their spots at the top once more.

I'm trying my hardest to stomach this and watch but no matter how hard it gets or how disappointed I am, I will support the members of these groups to my fullest extent. So, if all of Nu'est or only one or two members of Nu'est get in the new group I'll support; and if A-tom does make it I'll support, and the same applies to Sancheong. I'm really begging the universe not to let these groups disband as they have worked so hard, as many others do, to debut and get to where they are and were.

You know, it didn't take long for me to realize that the only reason I'm mainly still in K-pop is because of the underdogs, and even though I write about VIXX, Infinite, Block B, and other popular groups doesn't mean that I don't want to write a story about TOPPDOGG or Nu'est. I have actually written for them before but never posted them, and sadly I lost the files but I have recently been thinking to myself that I should post what I want as no one can say or do anything about it. So, by the end of this year and next year, expect very detailed and long chaptered stories about the underdog groups because no matter how popular they once were it doesn't matter as they can't even get out of the Top 50. These last few years have really made me question the reason I still try and stan knew groups, and support old groups, and blah blah blah, because at the end of the day the group is going to disband sooner or later whether I like it or not.

I want to grow old with these groups as they begin to follow in Shinhwa's footsteps of staying together for almost 20 years. I just really hope these gets through to the people who only care about their group and bash other groups for "trying" to take the spotlight every time they actually do good. It really disgusts me...these fans, they have honestly created a new name for themselves and in the end it only brings down your group and the fandom you are so die-hard for.
