BIOGRAPHY born with a silver spoon in his mouth, as expected from everyone else, kids coming from a wealthy family are all pampered and count moongyu in. ever since he was a kid, moongyu loved studying and he was the most studious and intelligent kid among the siblings. he always tutored the younger ones, sometimes the older ones came over to him and sure, he could help them solve their math homeworks as well! but not always, moongyu aint god.. well, throughout his school years, he often took part in competitions and brought back home a lot of prizes, made his school and parents proud.
he didn't belong to the maknae line of the family and so when his younger sibling was born, moongyu was given the mission to take care of them. one day he was holding the baby up and playing with it and it was ! suddenly, the baby pooped... on.... him... on his favorite... spiderman t-shirt... and with the smell and poop and all, moongyu screamed so loud that his father rushed in, thought there was a serious accident or something but it was just another happy family scene. the family got to laugh but moongyu hated it, he was Suffering. after that incident, he absolutely hated little kids and the dirtiness which pretty much explains why he's the kind of person he is today, everything has to be clean and neat, no dirt, no dust, no mess.
their family was a happy one, actually, with so many kids, surely it would be annoying and moongyu was probably the most serious one but no one would call him the "mature" one as he was still a kid and well, he still acted like a kid, sometimes or most of the times. everyone in the family just loved to tease the guy because he got mad easily and it was fun everytime moongyu yelled and cursed in a friendly language in front of their parents. their family could have been the have been the happiest until his parents divorced. moongyu cared for his mom a lot and he was kind of afraid knowing that his father would just cut off contact with her like that so ever since their mother left, he had been quite clingy towards his father. obviously not the kind of hugging his arm and asking him to buy him ice cream tho.
TRIVIA
— likes: studying, books, novels ( especially fantasy and mystery ), plants, black coffee, kdramas and gold.
— dislikes: the lees, vegetables, spaghetti ( he sure does get dissed a lot for this ), noisy places, kpop, insects, germs, untidy people and dirty places.
— habits: adjusts his glasses when he's thinking of something that is mean and not nice, touches his left ear when he's lying, sighs when he's nervous, glares at people.
— he keeps a free breeze in his room and uses it almost every day. also, his room smells really good, like a girl's room and don't even question him why.
— aside from that, he also keeps an insect spray and since he absolutely hates insects, especially cockroaches and flies because they are the dirtiest creatures in the world, later on, the lee kids will join those. moongyu's probably gonna be like "wheRE IS MY INSECT SPRAY these poor and stinky and ugly people can never be in the same house with me Ew Ew go away EW Yikes uHHGGHGHEREFER HELP DAD HELP DONT TOUCH ME U FOOLS" but he's just being extra Yoonoh

THE BESTIE — choi jaehyun ; seventeen ; playful, humurous, talkative, sarcastic, shameless ; fc: seventeen's seungkwan.
"'ey neat puh-reak!" "gOSH, can you please eat with your mouth closed?" "...*spits rice on moongyu's face*" "wHAT THE F–" oh yeah, best friends, a pair that is supposed to get along, aren't they? but.. jaehyun and moongyu are a little bit different because.. they act like they don't get along at all because they mostly scream and curse at each other whenever they meet. jaehyun used to be a very friendly and nice guy until he's friends with moongyu, he's got a potty mouth. they bicker most of the time but it's fun, when they get to spend time together it's fun because the two will just never shut up and the atmosphere is always good. jaehyun listens to everything his best friend says attentively and always supports him and just wait until moongyu gets to talk about the lee family to his bestie, jaehyun will be there to listen and support him roasting his soon-to-be family but of course, he's his best friend and jaehyun will most likely to give him some advice that maybe the lee family isn't so bad after all and that moongyu shouldn't be so harsh...?
THE INTERVIEW
Q1: HEY THERE, CAN YOU BRIEFLY INTRODUCE YOURSELF? WHICH FAMILY DO YOU BELONG TO – THE KIMS OR THE LEES?
his eyebrows furrowed, it's only the first question yet the kim is already feeling annoyed. he hates interview but if you are talking about those interviews that give him benefits like ielts interview then he's a er for it. anyways, back to the question, the young man sits with his legs crossed and speaks up "oh, sorry, what did you say? the lees? sorry, never heard of it, don't know what it means, only know thousands of people have to suffer because they have that ugly surename." the interviewer looks like they are about to cry and so moongyu lets out a deep sigh. "kim moongyu, i belong to the kims and i tell you, it has always been the kims, right now and forever, the lees are irrelevant. nugu??"
Q2: WHY DO YOU NOT WANT YOUR FATHER TO REMARRY? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR SOON-TO-BE MOTHER?
"okay isn't it obvious that she only dates him for his money?" he clicks his tongue. "it's 2017, you can't just trust anyone, alright? yet my father is that dumb and thirsty for women's breath, geez." the young man is obviously not so happy about the fact that his father's going to marry lee yehwa. "don't get me wrong tho, i still love my father and that's why i'm protecting him from this fox-like lady." moongyu pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose and states firmly, as if he was a superhero and trying to stop a world disease. "my father always reminds me to smile in front of her but my face becomes a rock when i stand in front of her, can't smile and if i try to smile, it can only last for 2 seconds and i'll look like i'm forcing myself to smile. can't say that isn't true tho, by the way, i think lee yehwa can pretty much tell that i don't like her." he taps his chin with his index finger, thinking deeply.
Q3: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF YOUR SOON-TO-BE SIBLINGS? THERE WILL BE FOUR OF THEM, YOU KNOW THAT?
oh... soon-to-be siblings... how wonderful, he rolls his eyes. "isn't living with three other kids enough, now i have to be stuck with another four???" he raises his voice. "honestly what's wrong with my dad and that woman, giving birth to so many kids, i don't even understand if they are trying to contribute to the world's population explosion or they just don't know how to use condoms!" the interviewer gasps but then quickly gets back to their serious interview mode as they clears their throat and moongyu doesn't care about that, he's just being honest. well, yeah, awfully honest.
"okay, you know what? it doesn't matter if they are top stars like snsd or bigbang, they still come from an average family and ugh, i hate strangers, you don't even know if they wash their hands before they eat or not!" he exclams, already feeling gross just thinking about using the same chopsticks and dishes with those "dirty people". maybe he's exaggerating things and being paranoid but it's true that he hates them anyways so it doesn't matter if the thinks of them as bad and stinky creatures. "i hate them even though i don't know who they are but i can already tell that i hate them dirty cockroaches."
Q4: HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CARRY OUT YOUR PLAN TO DESTROY THE ENGAGEMENT?
"now now, i'm not the king of plotting." he sighs and adjusts his glasses, there's the mysterious look on his face and he acts as if he was in an anime. "but.. i have been thinking about this for years." years? well, he might have exaggerated that part but still, he does think about it a lot. "there are many ways to ruin this engagement, of course." he holds his index finger up. "first of all, just make the future bride feel uncomfortable with her new family, then, she'll rethink her choice and take a step back." moongyu shrugs.
"we can start off by being rebellious and demand her a lot of things, like, our mother used to do this and that, you can do it? and just, demand a lot and give her a lot of hard tasks. however, the lees might not be happy with this plan because they don't want their mother to feel sad." he rolls his eyes and crosses his arms together, still, he continues his speech. "but it's not like we are going to let our father take all the harm as well so i've come up with another plan: find another woman for dad, someone who's rich so at least it doesn't look like she's only dating him for money?" he taps his chin, thinking deeply and it looks like the child of the kim family is happy with his new plan. "or find miss yehwa another rich man, just, someone else who is not our dad."
"but honestly... we are just going to do everything we can to ruin their happiness."

QUESTIONS, COMMENTS, CONCERNS? man, a neat freak is seriously the most random idea ever but here i am xD anyways i really love this plot although it's typical but the truth is no one in the applyfic community has never (?) done it or ever finished it, please keep up your amazing work!!1! i'll support this story until the end and i hope you like moongyu !! also idk what's my character's anthem but THERE U GO.
