Peter Pan

Annyeong,so I just remembered this from weeks ago.

I'm pretty sure you've all heard about Peter Pan and the lost boys right?and Neverland?

Well, there's these stuff about "truths" about Peter Pan wherein he 'shortens' the boys who've grown up meaning he kills them....so that's um....dark.....but that's for the orginal one...we're talking about the Disney version....

So the thing about Peter Pan that made the biggest impact to my kiddie heart was Neverland where everything was nice and the boys never aged.In real life, there's no such place......or so you thought. So here's the truth about it. Neverland IS heaven.Am I talking about Heaven where good people go after they die?Yes,I am.

I mean think about it,the boys never aged meaning they were dead. They could fly and most of all the place is practically a wonderland where fairies and mermaids exist and how is heaven portrayed as?Yes,a beautifull wonderland.So...in conclusion...the lost boys were dead children.....it's why they never aged....and Neverland was just Heaven.....Peter...he may be some kind of angel....

So do mean the author was using Neverland as a metaphor for Heaven. You may be right given the back story. But I also, just see it that they never grew about, because in Neverland they maintained their child-like innocence. I wrote a Neverland story, and that was my perspective. This was thought provoking. Thank you.
